    I'm on a big job, and just now stopped for a cup of tea and a sandwich and even though I am also a painter and decorator and people think I'm nuts to watch painting videos after I've been painting all morning, but I got to tell you my friend I learned so much from you guys and your channel is made a huge difference in my business thanks again for sharing the tips on the windows, do the exact same process except I wipe them down with methyl hydrate (which I'm almost positive I learned from one or you two Gentlemen). I know painting plastic is sort of lousy, but done right, the paint sticks like crazy and they always look much better. Thanks again for all your help and another great resource/reference for anyone who needs a 100% expert advisor and trusted resource. You two are the Best.

  • @barrywakefield4942
    @barrywakefield4942 6 месяцев назад +4

    Great job. The primer looks a bit full of brush strokes (not your fault) so do you have to lightly rub down the primer to smooth these out before applying the final top coat ? Many thanks 👍🏼

    • @PaintingandDecorating
      @PaintingandDecorating  6 месяцев назад +5

      To be fair most water based finishes leave more brush marks than oil. But any white primer on a dark surface will show all the brush marks. As you build up the coats to 4 it all sits back and looks okay. You do give a light sand in between coats this also helps. Thanks

    • @PaintingandDecorating
      @PaintingandDecorating  6 месяцев назад

      Thank you, there can be a few reasons for some plastic to fail. The sun is the worst and water sitting on the sill doesn't help. Trees and algae and also over cleaning can wear the plastic sill. Sometimes water running down walls can pick up contamination and stain sills.
