I visited taj mahal last year with my parents. Believe me It is 100% more mesmerizing than we see in pictures.
I was dumbstruck when I enter through that giant door. It was the most beautiful moment of my life.
And the river behind it along with the greenery of river field add so much beauty to it that it looks like fairy tale building. Such a great thing!

Agra Fort is a great place to visit! Taj Mahal with its own charm never fails to attract visitors but this grand Agra Fort has a definite uniqueness to it! Don't know why I ended up liking Agra Fort more than Taj Mahal!
You are not the only one to like Agra Fort more. It is certainly better. Taj Mahal is just more famous. There are many monuments in India that are more fascinating than the Taj Mahal.

I have always been fascinated with Indian architecture, the complexity and workmanship is excellent. The Agra fort seems to be in very good condition and a truly impressive building and it seems to be popular with so many people there. Great stuff.
Agra Fort is a sight to behold indeed. At Taj Mahal, I loved to sit at the sunset & watch the order, structure, symmetry and purity of that moment when you realize someone created something astonishing. There were people that didn't stop clicking selfies inside the monument, in spite of order against photo clicking & that irritated me.
Muslim mughal built this taj mehal and those who called indians were there slaves

India is a land of 100 Taj Mahals. Only one is popular in western media. I would suggest to see UNESCO world heritage sites of India at least on Wikipedia

Try to read about (if not visit) Itmaduddaula tomb, Bibi Ka makbara, humayun tomb, ranakpur Jain temple, Victoria memorial, hoshang Shah tomb...The list is too long

You need to just arrive in India. It is so much diversified that whatever be the season, you will find excellent places to explore. Just make sure to have lot of days available.
I would recommend u to visit sikkim, kashmir, laddakh,and himachal If u love mountainous region , if u r a nature or forest lover make a visit to arunachal, madhya pradesh and adaman Nicobar islands, if u like desert visit Rajasthan , if u like beaches visit goa , odisha, and u should also visit historical sites in the places I mentioned if u r history lover..We have well preserved history of more than 5000 yrs. The most beautiful is the TAJ MAHAAL - the first wonder of the world and will remain as the foremost 1 wonder of the world. I made a purpose visit to see the TAJ MAHAAL , it was so beautiful that I fell in love with the taj - Taj I LOVE U. There is no building compared to it. I saw the Pyramids in Cairo, but nothings compares to the Taj. Taj 1 wonder of the world. Thanks everyone.
