And to think I got this guy his very first drumset at age 3 :) 👍❤
you wanna buy me my first drum set at 33?
Props
Thats damn awesome :-))
Aww that’s cute :)
What a beautiful gesture which turned into GOLD!
homie hitting those drums like they owe him a weeks worth lunch money
lmao
He mad
RIP those cymbals
...have fun...he'll pay for it later...
actually he would profit from playing less hard in every way
One of the only drummers on here to wear ear protection, props on that
Most of the sound is projected in front of him so his ears are already pretty safe. At a small venue like above he probably doesn't even have the luxury of a monitor. I bet all he hears is the guitarist just like we do in the video.
@@jimmywells33nah my friend, those cymbals will do some real damage
@@jimmywells33 the only sound projected orward are his bass and toms. Cymbals go everywhere.. believe me 😅
As a drummer, I can confirm that it’s loud. I use ear plugs at practice & during shows.
@@jimmywells33dude. The kit. Drums are fuckin loud to begin with, and he’s pounding em.
10:50 - respect for this guy
!
waiting 30 secs for him to fix the hi-hat wouldn't be the end of the world
@@MotoRide. 30 seconds is a hell of a long time for a 15 minute set
That floor tom work is fucking crazy
No need for a double bass machine.
Drummers like this make hardcore bands.
It was refreshing to see someone so enthusiastically passionate at their craft. This level of concentration is rare.
::Watches an Insect Warfare drumcam:: ...yup.
Most drummers are like that in this scene
More like his fed up with the kick moving 3dm from him every 30sec :)
Rare, how so. What circles do you run in..?
@@jonasbrandinger1327 put a rug down you gooddd
Dude’s moved like a good 6 feet closer to the crowd by the end of the set haha
the drums was pretty brave trying to get away from him constantly
i used to play with a dude who's kit would do that, he would be pulling it back all night as he was playing, he had a hard attack too lol :D
@@jibicusmaximus4827 that's epic
At one gig we strapped the kit to the stage, so the drummers wouldn't lose it :D
Need spikes on the bottom front. Wandering bass drum is super annoying
The ghost notes are what tell you that this is a drummer's drummer. Absolutely killing it
Whats a ghost note bro? Sorry I'm not a drummer lol
@Rage Kage Ghost notes are that extra sauce that bring a beat to the next level. They're usually played on the snare drum, slightly quieter than the main beat being played (usually referred to as the "back beat"). A great example is what he starts playing at 2:29 . It's kinda hard to see, but if you listen closely you'll hear him playing a whole bunch of subtle notes around the "back beat" with his left hand on the snare drum. Stuff like that is what to me really shows passion for music and the desire to hone your craft, and just adds so much more depth and expression and groove to a beat. It's refreshing to hear in this genre cuz it's lacking a lot of times. What makes it even better is that he can also just absolutely flat out beat the drums into submission as well haha
3:25 nice surprise casper the friendly note
This is the second drum video I've seen from this channel today, your all giving them waaaaaay too much credit. And hitting them that hard isn't a good thing
He's killing it but there's not one ghost note in the entire video.
I done got myself addicted to these vids. Might get a drum set and start playing again after many many years.
Look man, as your neighbor, can you just take up like fantasy sports or something? The neighborhood is just starting to recover from your previous drumming.
you should!
@@bennylevine387 electric drums are the key
F ing do it man
Dude's my favorite drummer to watch in the scene. Plays appropriate, hits hard, so fun.
Whats his name man. Cant find it anywhere
What band is he drumming in now. Shackled was fucking great but called it quits too soon.
Yo keep these drum cams coming! 🔥
Love the tempo changes and the variation of fills. This drummer really did his homework. Excellent day at the office!
Original music, homework? Not sure what you mean
It's just playing plain and simple! Homework is for covering something...he's creating!
This dude is friggin sick. Found a new band to listen to.
I agree
🔥🔥🔥🔥
can i find them on spotify?
@@mikemichel9005 Yes
yeah this generation has great bands, feels like something cool might be cooking for the next years
This dude has a great overall package: Power, groove, dynamics and versatility in his playing. A pleasure to watch. For me the best i have seen in this drum cam.
Du hast recht
Dude is dope AF 👌
Groove 😏
Best for me dude also, 👌
I totally agree. But check out the drummer of Worn. He also got something going on there
Can we just talk about how he is absolutely handling his high hats? This boy has the chops to really get us moshing.
The hi-hats gave up because of it lol
I was thinking exactly the same. Nice dynamics and drive.
No kidding!
The look at 8:48 when the nut came off is priceless. It didn't even faze him, kept his composure and worked with it. I thought it was pretty cool when the guy (im assuming from one of the other bands) stepped up and got the top-hat back in place, mad respect.
Okay... but that little break beat hidden in there was fuckin nutssss
Exceptional. The fills moving high to low on the Tom's and back up mixing with triplets, quads etc sound nice. Great work.
love that he’s playing on some old ass Swingstars too
80's Tama's all day for me son!!!
The pop of that tin can snare is fuckin sexy 👌
Good eye!!
Snare sound too💥
Very poppy indeed.
Dude, this was nice. Also that drum tech fixing the hi hat at the perfect time was clutch, see what I did there.
AMAZING band. So glad to be subscribed to HATE5SIX. Heard some of the hardest ass kicking music since. Thanks to all of you for posting this stuff. Rock On BRO. & SISTERS of metal!
Wow, this guy is precise, enthusiastic, and God damn powerful! Love his style. Hopefully this band tours. I'd catch them for sure.
This kids got some chops, great drumming
With that amount of endurance and the sickest flow going on in the back, this dude definitely plays hockey.
10:38 "Ah fuck it, whatever." lol
lol. my old hi-hat stand used to do that all the time, it would unfasten itself by turning counter clockwise everytime I'd hit it and eventually get kocked off the part connected to the pedal...
Cracks me up seeing the crowd spazzing out! 🤣🥊
everyone has its own style lmao. Someone looks like is starting a boat, while the other one is jumping on the crowd and so many more. Must be great party lol
@@lincoln537 I really love these vids for this reason - quality drum cams and entertaining crowd watching
6:05 feel you bro, story of every drummer. 😅
Guitarist: "theee whatnow is having a sip..? fuck it, let's just fire this riff! :DD "
Cheers from Finland🔥✊ 🇫🇮
I love seeing metalcore played on a compact drum setup. This is one of the most simplest setups ive seen yet gets the job done
Dude is beating the absolute shit out of those drums 👌🏻❤👌🏻
When dude goes ballistic from about 3:08 - 3:45... 🤯
So Fun to watch him do his thing.
Nick you are the real deal.
My favorite drummer
Incredible energy, just smashing the hell out of that kit. Amazing chops, love the ghost notes. Impressed when someone gets the job done like this without a double bass pedal.
take THAT, hi-hat! powerful drumming.
Dude is fucking SICK!! Wow the way he writes his drum parts just take the songs to a whole other level! Tons of props bro your a gnarly drummer. From NJ too
I always appreciate a drummer who Incorporates some hi-hat work.
like beating the living fuck out of it??🤣
Respect @8:46 when the nut dropped the top hat, he barely give it a glance, mitigated his situation and made adjustments without skipping a beat. Killer beats on the kick and his use of ghost notes is at another level🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
9:36 sick beat
What is beat name?? I love this beat
I've always said that hardcore drumming attitude and energy sums perfectly what metal is all about!!
Horns up!!
That snare sound tho 👌🏼
I don't ever want anyone to tell me I beat the shit out of my kit ever again.
Dude is amazing
Amazing????
saw these guys live one time and they beat up a guy who was being overtly racist to a member of another band playing that night. much respect
That’s what’s up.
Oh hell yeah. Thanks for sharing that
Can confirm. The drummer is my nephew and i know he doesn't take kindly to racist pieces of shit.
@@laurakaitz9729as someone that’s a minority, what was the context of that situation?
That old thrash hardcore i grew up in the 90s with. Great work
This dude found his way back into my Algorithm....not complaining...guy is dope AF ✌
The look of the guy behind the bass amp at 0:19 when the drummer begins to smash the shit out of the toms. Very good drumming!
he was like 👁👄👁
Gotta love the brotherhood, that ass grab in the back at 6:37 is priceless 😂😂😂😂
i used to play drums in a hardcore band and it was literally exactly like this 20 years ago in springfield massachusetts.
It wasn't
I bet that drum set had a cigarette after that
That drummer is insane!
holy cow I'm getting addicted to this drumming
That’s what I like. When drummers try to kill that snare on 2+4
Props to one of the few drummers wearing ear plugs
This kid is a fucking beast! Really fun to watch
It's not the pocket, it's the practice, determination and focus. Well played!
100%
Dude is insane. Amazing sounding kit. ✨That snare ✨One of my favorite drum cams for sure.
Hardcore drinking game: take a shot every time there's a power chord or a tempo change
So relatable to ask for a couple of seconds for when the hi-hat clamp becoming loose lol, sick afffff performance 🤙🏽
He hittin them things like his life depends on it
i dont know who this band is but this basically giving me all sorts of BANE vibes. i love it. ya got a new listener.
I love how well lit this cafetorium is
Cool drumming! Those A Mastersounds are holding on for dear life xD
dude is going off, well done!! good to see, get to detroit soon
You guys should see him in Cold Joy
Dude aint no joke, lol. Great timing
Get your boy a nice remenant throw rug.....This is tight!
So proud! Get it Nick!
Good to see bro getting the props and respect he deserves. There isn’t anything wrong with him attacking those drums like that, that’s just passion.
What’s this song name? This drumming is fucking insane
The first song btw
@@johnf.kennedy4842 blinded! just released officially
Power and he is wearing earplugs, good work.
Oh, this was recorded back in 2021 BFBG (before fubu guy)
I could watch this dude for hours !!
I like how he looks pissed the fuck off. Its like his rage he's putting into the drums is transferring to the resting of the band

Awesome drumming!! 🤘😝
That K Crash won't last long getting whacked like that, true.
Jesus they'd have to glue the cymbals to the floor this boy hits hard
the drumerr I am not joking is my drum teacher
this drum beating is tommy aldridge approved.nicely done.
When the tough guys are on the stage, and the sweet boys are behind the scene)) 6:38
Hey! The ghost notes! Awesome!
He's hitting that hard because the they refuse to mic up the drum kit.
One of the best drummers on show
fck this drummer is insane talented in grrovin and slap everything. hope to see it live in germaaany
Damn at 3:08 he just rips into these drums. MUST WATCH!!
Surprised his sticks weren’t dust after that.
This kid can play
Pretty dam solid drumming 👌🤙🤙🤘
the fact this dude is the vocalist and guitarist in all under heaven is fucking insane
Anyone who knows their basses know that a Peavey T40 bass weighs like a small elephant. Good luck to the bass players back!
What a legend talk about having the right drummer in your band fully committed to the job in hand
what I would call a proper drummer and a joy to watch and listen to
This young fella needs a band. First of all a bass player who vibes with him. Memories of playing sound-shell and demolishing the kit as I played.
that fill in the first song is so fucking cool
Bro legit Stevo from SLC Punk. Fucking awesome.
If he told me only posers die I would do my best to live forever.
That's how you hit the drums. And honestly not bad sounds at all from the limited mic set up.
reminds me of my drum teacher back in the days " play the drumset, dont fight it"..lol
I don’t think he’s hitting the drums hard enough. I’d like to see a little more enthusiasm here 🤣
I'm not much of a hardcore fan, I come from metal and thrush... but see this guy is pure spectacle, what an interminable f*cking fills, awesome! ...greetings from Spain
so many ghost notes those drums are haunted now
If your drummer isn't this excited then I don't even wanna hear it
i wonder how many shoulder dislocations happened at this gig...
Nice. What's cool is these drummers have a such a small basic drum kit, like here, your basic 4 piece, bass, snare, tom, and floor, with hi-hat, ride, and 2 crashes, and they're able to produce good shit. Just goes to show you, that you don't need a big, gigantic drum kit to play well.
This is what years and years of jazz study will bestow you with.
