The sequel to Wolfenstein 3-D.
Definitely more intense with an interesting twist for the end.
I did press through one screen on the ending a bit too quickly but nothing was missed, you can pause the screen just to read the one sentence.

The final boss feels a lot more meaningful considering the connections to Doom now...
Not to mention the Cyberdemon’s appearance (sans cybernetic stuff) in Wolfenstein RPG!
and calling like DOOMeinstein. (you can't call it Wolf...)

It feels somewhat rewarding for a loser nation to have pop culture icons like Blazkowicz and Doom Marine.
On the other hand they are not the only ones. Ernst Stavro Blofeld was half-Polish and Captain Nemo was Polish in the original unpublished version.

There's something oddly relaxing about wondering these endless mazes with old school midi playing and nazi waiting for you around the corner. Love it

With the graphics and floor map cheats I was able to alter these games and trade modified levels with friends using floppy discs! We had a lot of fun with this and I miss the simpler less restrictive computer days!

@@alih6953 I had found Wolfenstein 3D cheats online by using Google searches.
@@rickroche8860 I know that friend but on the steam version first you have to activate speardebugmode. I cannot activate that mode.

I can't believe my parents let me play this game when i was 5. I beat it as well! Started a whole decade of gaming after this one!
There are actually at least three secret levels on this game, we found up to level 21 when I was young playing this all the time. You had to open so many secret passages in the right order to get to them. If you opened them in the wrong order you could lock yourself in and had to go back to your last save.
So much nostalgia watching this. So many memories.

I'm bored, so imma school the lot of you. the call is "schutzstaffel!" which loosely translates to "Protection Squad" (the Schutzstaffel in the nazi regime were senior or high-ranking officers, some believed to have been bodyguards to the fuhrer himself) the death cry is Mein Leben!" literally translates as "My Life!"
unfortunately as the voice acting is terrible (and stereotypically american doing german accents) its hard to tell.

When you pressed "MIL" same time on the keyboard was like heaven
Such a typical 90's game; very hard to discover secrets, ridicuously unforgiving gameplay. But god I loved these type of games, including Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Duke Nukem, etc.
This guy’s style of play is infuriating. You either play for max speed and get big bonuses, or you play for 100% in all categories and play the secret levels. He opens up the secret on level four that leads to level 19 and doesn’t pursue it! What the hell??
I played this in 1995. I was 25 yo, dam it.
I will gladly await mission 2 and 3 good sir.

It was also the music on Map32: Grosse, a Wolfenstein-themed secret level based on the final level of Escape from Wolfenstein.

On floor 11, I think it was, didn't take the elevator up to the secret floor. I wonder what was there.

the levels are twice the size of the levels in the first game
Man, the player was kinda cutting it close in some places. May have died only once in the final showdown, but was able to bounce back quick.
I was already warmed up with the game mechanics from longplaying Wolf3D.

I was quite shocked when i realized that this game takes place BEFORE Wolfenstein 3D...in fact the last three of the original six take place before the first three. But it makes sense--he destroyed most of their labs and heavier equipment and soldiers and Germany has lost the war by the end of the original three and Hitler is in fact chronologically the penultimate boss.
I had this expansion a long time ago back in 1993

Never played this one unfortunately.
I hate the death knight, it's because of how many Mutants and SS Officers there are in the corners.

This games where really good when gaming wasn’t that popular and it’s still popular with other games like wolfenstein and the other from the wolfenstein series
It seems like I play it better than this guy, because I got better percentages. I only play games between 89 and 2000. I think they are the best plus I love to see the way how PC and videogames evolved.
I personally prefer the battle rifle for most gameplay...the minigun seems to be a bit cheaty.
Just two observations: 1. there's a RUN key! 2. you can use mouse+keyboard (even if the game is from '92).
Mouse was the way to play this back in the day, but all mice were expensive and used ball / roller. I killed 5 mice in 12 months playing Wolf3D and SOD with mice, until I had to go back to keys, because I couldn't afford more mouse replacements.
So please quit whining. I finished Wolf3D, SOD, Doom, Doom 2, Blake Stone, Operation Bodycount, Heretic, Hexen and Quake 1 on hardest settings on keys without coming close to dying. You're free to play as you choose.

Oh SPEAR OF DESTINY I love playing this game I played this game in a Nokia 6680 downloaded from a PC I played this game 2008 and I reached the last level with if I'm not mistaken a big look like a robot opponent but not really robot I played this game repeatedly until reached the end level and play again I want to download it in my fone today android the generation fones today but this game is not available in play store

Spear of Destiny is basically an official modification of Wolf3D with new textures, new (amazingly funky) music, a new story, new levels, etc.

Mouse and key board at the same time. Turnings a little slow with mouse so use the a and d keys to help you along
