XD
Dear Gods I have been on a Ghost binge for months..... brilliant song writing, arranging and composing. I have no doubt Aplha can shred with the best of them but he plays for the song. I dig that. Cant wait for them to arrive with my favorite band Maiden.
Ive really ejoyed this band even with the changing of the guard Im curious to see & hear Papa Emeritus the 4th keep up the great work & cause . Welcome year zero
yea this one is a girl, Megan Thomas. Papa doesn't try to grab her ass or do suggestive movements and is respectful around her unlike what he does to the guys. lol
Was that a girl playing the bass????????? last time i checked there weren't any girls in the band. That's the problem with makeup and no names they can change the band anytime they want! Ya never know what ya going to get.
scorpion528 when I saw them in St. Louis, we were right on the stage and it was very clearly a female playing the bass. She was really energetic and fun.
Its a little odd to me that they have had so many lineup changes and to me it really makes me not connected to them. After the first couple of albums I was into it but now I know they are basically the "boy band" formula and its REALLY not a band it kinda seems a little less cool. Its very hokey anyway but its still pretty cool and different! Enjoy it for what it is I guess.
Richard Wallace there are a ton of bands who have had numerous lineup changes, but still keep the core sound because of the main songrwriter. Megadeth being one of them.
Richard Wallace "it's a little odd to me that they have had so many lineup changes" You wanna be a dick about something that came out of your post, have at it.
Every band I listen to have had lineup changes whether it's Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Kiss, NIN and so on. As long as Papa is the frontman and main songwriter the quality of music won't change. The Nameless Ghouls are interchangeable by design.
The band is really built around Tobias Forge, who writes all the words and music. It's the steady, consistent vision of one musician supported by a band. Definitely NOT the boy band model...
Like 99,9% of bands out there in the history of music. Any bands you love stole their riffs and inspirations elsewhere when not outright plagiarizing note for note (Cough Led Zeppelin). If you actually play guitar, you can pretty much debunk that latter claim because first of all, Symphony of Destruction is played in E tuning, Ritual is in D tuning, the note pattern is different apart from the recurring semi-tone interval between the open string and the first fret that is one of the most overused heavy metal riffing cliche you'll find in every albums of the genre since its inception. And Ghost schtick is to re-vamp seventies and eighties shock rock/occult bands like Alice Cooper with a tongue in cheek touch. Ritual is like Blue Oyster Cult banging Symphony Of Destruction but that's what makes it so catchy wearing those influences on its sleeves. They never pretended they were the most original act out there when they're part of the occult rock revival. Only trades looking for clicks and haters winging keep on harping on something they never claim to be.
Tell that to almost every doom metal band, especially Pentagram, who has ripped off Black Sabbath. Really man? That melodic riff has been used over and over again during the 80's before Megadeth.
LoL I GAVE HIM THE FLAG! He also shushed me because I wouldn't shut up... Love Papa. Thanks for getting this great footage.
Esperanzita Bonita Es enserio? O mientes?

i love their little bassist :')

7:20 the interaction with his bassist is kinda cute. :) She skips off.
Totally! Those female movements...so cute
She plays a mean bass too!
How long has the bass player been female? and no smart ass answers either lol
I think all her life. (Sorry, just had to do it! :) ) I think it was about the middle of last year.
My understanding is that the regular bassist couldn't make the North American tour, so the female bassist filled in.
What a great band...
they should use the background keyboard bit during the speech as an intro/outro, its so dream like
Mexico's flag!
Yo se lo diiiiiii ahhhhhhhh casi muero.
Esperanzita Bonita geniaaaal
Wanted to go to this so badly. :(
ritual is such a great song
So, this concert was the end of 2016, & Omega left in the July. So he’s not playing here...?
Correct. Omega was replaced for this show by the female Ghoul
Kings Theater to The Barclay Center. Congrats and thank you for not making go too Manhattan.
Ive really ejoyed this band even with the changing of the guard Im curious to see & hear Papa Emeritus the 4th keep up the great work & cause . Welcome year zero

Now i'm pretty sure that their bassist is a girl
Cesar Bonilla it was a girl but when I saw them on that tour I was like yep it's a girl
yea this one is a girl, Megan Thomas. Papa doesn't try to grab her ass or do suggestive movements and is respectful around her unlike what he does to the guys. lol

Brian Walker yo I'll see you there!

Who's the hottie in the green dress?
Axolotl Seawitch Marrisa Nadler
What was her role in the show though?
also intro of sounds sounds like Symphony of destruction
in one interview special ghoul (papa) says he's married. may she is his wife? just sayin
No the twins were already born

And why do I care?

Ghost is a hack band. The steal riffs, hooks and other elements to create their own "sound." Phonies... non original.
Dusha Zhatka out of curiosity, what songs did they "steal"?
Dave G i mean I hear Symphony when I listen to Ritual... but it doesn't really feel as if they intentionally made it sound like symphony

And here you are wasting time commenting on Ghost. Fucking loser.
