The Purpose of revival
Revival means to bring back to life something that died.
What did the church have but lost?
The church lost was the presence of God.
Throughout many years I have seen many revivals happen, but they are never sustained.
If there is no transformation in the heart of the people then we cannot keep revival. This is where our relationship with God and the presence is lost.
But we are living in times where the greatest revival we have seen is yet to come. Times of refreshment is coming to the world because Jesus is coming soon. The purpose of revival is to restore the presence of God and bring us back into relationship with the Father. It awakens the hearts of the people.
This is where we, as the body and bride of Christ, need to reflect on where our hearts are, and which areas of our lives we need to repent of and surrender to God so there can be a true transformation in us.
We are being revived for the last time for the end times. Therefore if you are in revival, you need to be in a constant state of transformation becoming more like Jesus every day.
God wants to restore your relationship with Him and revive your heart! There is great urgency for us to come back to life.
If our hearts are not revived we will miss out on the greatest move of God that is about to break out.
This has been one of the messages that have touched my heart the most and I know it will change your life!
