I have never heard of Cox Trains!!! I learn something new everyday!!! I love all your Christmas train videos....Great job!!! My Grandsons had a LEGO train under their tree this year!!!! It was great and they couldn't wait to show me!!!
Thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed the Christmas videos 🎄🚂😊 That’s really cool your Grandsons have a LEGO train under the Christmas Tree. I’m sure they were excited to show it to their train Grandma 😊🚂🎄
Thank you very much John 👍😎 Part of my old train collection. It’s funny, they don’t feel that old 😉 I hope you have a wonderful 2024 and thanks for stopping by the channel 😊🚂
Thanks Rob 👍😎 I’ve been trying get my Big Pine Set on RUclips for about five years. I have even more items for it but can’t remember where I put them. 😜 This is what the hobby would have looked like post Bicentennial. Thanks for checking out the video and Happy New Year 👍🚂
LIKE 14 HAPPY NEW YEAR 😊❤🎉 Wow~so fantastic and impressive 😍😍😍 I really enjoyed it ❤ I'm already your subscriber 🎁 🤝 Thank you for sharing my new friend 🤗💖💓💕
Great video!🌟🌠 Love the head of the train, looks like the modern trains🧐...AND! It's carrying a big truck on it! Can trains do that? I've not ever seen that before.
Thank you very much Christina!!!! 👍😊 Trains will sometimes carry the whole truck on the flatcar. Probably done more back in the day than now. Plus my inner ten year old was having a little artistic license with the train 😎🚂 I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Happy New Year 😊🤗❤
Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies is also part of The Nutcracker Suite from Fantasia, a Disney story. I like this music very much. I much prefer American steamies.
Thank you Kelly 😎 I think Fantasia is my favorite Disney movie and the Nutcracker Suite is my favorite part of the movie. I’ve got one more diesel video and then it will be time for the steamies again 😊🚂
@@atjoe1972 You didn't tell me you were a Disney fan. My favourite Nutcracker Suite tune is Russian Dance, and my favourite part of Fantasia is something different: The Sorcerer's Apprentice starring Mickey Mouse, the character that started it all way back in November 1928. Before you and I were born, that is.
I’ll be honest, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice segment scared me as a kid. Poor Mickey really made a mess of things 😉 One of my favorite Disney memories is with my Grandma. Her and my Grandpa went on their honeymoon to Disneyland the year it opened. She had a postcard book with the different attractions at Disneyland. She would tell me about them and how wonderful it was to visit there. Some happy Disney memories ❤😊@@kellyashfordtrains2642
@@atjoe1972 No reason why you can't follow in her footsteps and create your own Disneyland story. The first time I went to Disneyland, Paris was with my Dad, Stepmum and sister. I visited again 20 years later in September 2013, just one week before I had a Beddgelert holiday with my Mum. You can't spend holiday time in Disneyland, without cuddling and kissing Mickey Mouse.
Sounds like you had fun visiting Disneyland Paris. 👍😎 I did follow in my Grandparents footsteps and went to Disneyland in California. If I recall my first time there, I did give Mickey, Goofy and Pluto big hugs. I let my sister hug Minnie 😉😆@@kellyashfordtrains2642
I really like the Cox stuff when it came out. I ordered a catalog from them in 1976 and just drooled over it 😜 I only got the Big Pine stuff back in the day. You guys did get some really cool stuff across the border 🇨🇦 Tony Cook has a really cool website covering the Cox stuff. I’ll catch you again in 2024 and have a Happy New Year 👍😎

Very cool 👍🏻 I graduated high school in the early 70’s
I still have that train set! Loved it as a kid!
@@Yooperal3 That’s great you still have a classic train set 👍😎 Cox made some really cool stuff back then, lots of happy memories 🎄🎅🏻🚂
@atjoe1972 Yes they did! The military train was cool too! Enjoy 🎄
Happy New Year ATjoe! I do remember those trains from the 70's when I worked in the hobby shops! Thanks for the nice reminder!
1976 is right around the time I got my first Tyco train!
1976 was a good year for model trains 👍 Tyco was definitely on their "A" game during that time
😎
Happy New Year, Joe! Seeing those trains from 1976 made me think of some of the activities we participated in during that Bicentennial Year!
Happy New Year Bruce! There was a lot going on during the Bicentennial that year. One of my favorite times growing up. 😊
