- I got a new pump this season. It's a Vevor 1 HP and I was new to setting it up. Even after watching a few videos and reading the instructions, I had a brain fart and completely put the hoses in the very wrong place. SO-- This video will show you a bit of that, and a lot of the right way to put your hoses.
You will need a few adapters if you are using intex hoses for a vevor pump.

I’m about to fill my Coleman 18’ up but I need to first bury the pavers that were above ground level last yr. They were really pressing on the liner last yr but nothing happened. I don’t wanna press my luck this year.
Thank you. Yes I’ve had the paver issue (you probably know that) I’m glad you’ll get to have yours fixed up nice. It’s stressful when the pavers are pressing on the liner!

The hoses have rubber washers that go inside them. That's probably why the lines are leaking.
Looks good. I noticed how you mentioned the pump not wantingto sit correctly. From the looks of the video, you have your hard line from pump to filter backwards as well, which is what's causing it to sit so far out. The top piece of the bend looks longer and making it not level and vertical part going down to pump looks shorter so i would just turn it around
Appreciate your insight. However I did look at that, if turned the opposite way it would not fit, I tried that way when setting up since it seemed strange but the other way does not reach at all.

Hi what are the fitting you used coming from top of the filter
I linked the adapter fittings that I ordered on Amazon in the description box. All the other fittings came with the pump. I’m sorry I hope that helps. Not sure which fittings you’re talking about.

What size tarp would you recommend for a 18x48 pool? First time pool owner!
Are you talking about the tarp to go underneath it? If so, I will get a heavy duty one and a 20 foot so you have extra around the outside.
Hi there I saw your video ,I bought the same pump and I spent a whole Sunday trying to hook it up and the pump still not working I get no pressure and the needle on the gauge not moving I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.,any idea what could be
hmm. make sure all your connections are solid. is it pushing water out at all? make sure the flow is open (there are places where you can switch off the water flow on your hoses) I am sorry I can't be of more help I know that is frustrating.
Did you get rid of your saltwater system? Didn’t you have a saltwater system previously? Or was a watching a different channel? I’ve watched 50+ videos in the last couple of weeks. 😂
Yes I did! So my Intex pump died on me after three years and someone offered me this pump for free so I’m giving it a shot, I have a feeling I’m going to miss the salt water we will find out!
