(unhinged Mario voice) herE WE GOOOO
YAHOOOOOOOO!
Yoooo let's go!!! Thanks so much as always 🫶
I love how it gives it a more emotional feeling.
That last part really stuck with me.. It feels like regret.
I'm so glad that came through, I really wanted their theme to reflect something like that, like how Sada and Turo in a way failed at their responsibilities of being parents as well as being the region's professor...a real bummer but I'm glad it came through :)
The Cello reminds me of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorer of Sky, and it sounds beautiful
Thank you so much :)
This cover is the one that finally made me realize a huge part of this theme is a remix of the main Paldea theme!
Yes! I had no idea when I started arranging this theme that it referenced a bunch of different themes from the region :)
Phenomenal!!!!
Wow thank you so much!! I really appreciate it :)
Great job. It really captures the mourning of that part of the game. We're fighting a FRIEND, and one who beseeched us to defeat them no less, knowing what the security system would do to their mind.
In a way, we're fighting the lingering will of their creators, twisted into helpless and uncontrollable fury that they could *fail*. They became so paranoid in life that they locked themsleves away with only a robot double and a time dragon for companionship, and even then, they couldn't even trust their own double. Of course, that was because the AI was far more rational and clearheaded, but the professor didn't see it that way. The final journal entry sees them describe the AI in mostly positive terms, but something shifted between then and their death. The AI started questioning too much, the professor rigged them to the security system and installed the PPP without the AI's knowledge, likely as punishment should the AI ever rebel.
And at the end, when the security system speaks, it's identified as the true professor.
But even when we triumph and vanquish the last malice of a twisted mind, the AI still holds a final tragic secret. Our new friend has to go. To stay would bring calamity.
But when they say "your parent truly loved you", for all the evil that the professor had unleashed, for as walled off as they had made themselves, for as neglectful and hurtful as they had been...i still believe it. After all, they died in an act of love. It had been their instinct to do so.
Could they have changed? Could they have realized the error of their ways and stopped Paradise themslves? We'll never know. Even in the alternate timeline of the crystal pool when that professor says that they'll go home, that's still not the one from our world.
I want to think the AIs are happy wherever they ended up. After everything they've been through they need to have a chance to be the free adventurers they desired to be.
(Also if the AIs ever show up in Masters I will whale for them so hard I will whale like Primal Kyogre)
Why does this make tear up? Not a bad thing just, why? I didn't grow up with this game. I have no nostalgia attached to it. Yet here I am crying. It's beautiful.
Thank you so much, I really wanted to bring out the emotion of this theme so I appreciate it 🫶
Do you like Toby Fox? Could be why.
Honestly, this game's story thread here is actually a strong one relative to the whole series, and the song is very well put together for it.
Like, the cello is described as regretful and wistful, and the Professors only technically(?) came to their senses and shut down the project once irreparable damage had been done. It is sad how things went, but that bit of hope in the theme is you fighting to salvage the outcome I guess, you battling an individual who is reluctantly fending you off as they have instructed you to stop them. An incredible theme for a pretty incredible storyline, done even more justice with the Cello additions
@@lilpetz500The professors never came to their senses. They died still seeking "Paradise". Their AI assistants were the ones who had tried to convince them to stop.
Nostalgia isn't the only thing you can cry from. The story and the characters are really strong in this game and this theme reflects that, that's the reason
This is beautiful omg. The emotion leitmotif ;_;!!!!!!!
Thank you so much!! I knew I had to get that leitmotif in there somehow, it's so central to the story 😭
Found it on Spotify! Fantastic
That''s awesome, thanks so much for stopping by the channel!!
Actually gorgeous omg
Thank you so much!! So glad you think so :)
Wow!! Amazing!! I was eagerly looking forward to hearing your cover of this epic theme, and you did not disappoint! Such a powerful melody and composition! Your cello performance definitely conveys all the same emotions as the original. I especially like that melody at 1:56... ooh, so good!! That melody line is so emotional, it gives me goosebumps! I love the vibrato you implemented there. Awesome remix! This game has some of the best music in the whole franchise! 😃
Hey thank you!! So glad it lived up to the hype :) I was nervous about this one but I'm glad it came out well. There's so much going on with this theme in particular and I wanted to get all of it in my remix somehow! Scarlet and Violet just nailed it with the music ❤️
Sooo cool 😎😮 I really like the string instrument such as the cello it gives a different feeling to this theme but also keeping some of the same feeling 🙂
Thank you so much! I love how the cello works with some video game music :)
I've been eagerly waiting for this one, Cello sounds awesome as usual.
Thank you so much!! Glad you liked it :)
As perfect as always

Great work as usual!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed!!
Why do I get the feeling like the official version of these Battle Theme from the Pokémon Horizons anime is going to be like this? With it's almost empty and simplistic yet overwhelmingly substantive take on the Battle Versus an A.I Professor being ar least very similar to this? Where Liko and eventual Meowscarada, Roi and eventual Skelidirge, Dot and eventual Quaquaval, Amethio and Ceruledge, and Arven and Mabostifg will be facing down A.I Sada, A.I Turo, and Gibeon and their Roaring Moon, Koraidon, Iron Valiant, Miraidon, and corrupted Terrapagos in an all out final ultimate battle in Lab Zero.
I'm really interested to see what they do with the AI Professor storyline in the anime, its such a great twist and the whole Area Zero sequence was really satisfying end to all three storylines! Thanks for the comment :)
