I currently Drive one of these (2021) and from every objective test (Speed, Braking, Handling etc) they are shite, BUT, and this is a big BUT, They are so, so, so fun to drive.
A small, cheap car like this is all about the Smiles Per Gallon, and the Charade is all smiles

Charade is very rare in US. I saw one the other day and it's just an old boxy econobox from early 1990's, but the weird name got my attention --- charade? (as in parody, pretense, farce, masqurade, sham, fake etc)?

Nice!! Well, I have driven an E46 coupé 330 and actually almost traded it for my Lexus back then. But the E46 was older and felt a little less refined compared to the Lexus so I decided against it. But they're amazing cars for sure! 👌🏼

I had an automatic 1.3 16v charade GLXi g200 loved it was awesome little car but the vacuum pumps when dodgy so scraped it wish I got it fixed tbh would love to see what a modifed one would be like ;)
