Hafley gave us a very good D with lots of "okay" players. I like where we're headed. Gotta upgrade pass rush, CBs and, as of now, even WR. Of course this game was totally winnable and the Packers, in part, defeated themselves. We gotta step up from this. Next season, I'm not okay with another wild card or divisional loss. We NEED to fly higher.
@@Tulio_Fonsecahonestly if Hafley has a great year 2 and lafleur sucks again I think the packers need to have a serious discussion about moving lafleur out of green bay and letting Hafley take over. It's been 20 years of head coaches that are soft and don't play well within the flow of the game, tend to fold at the worst times, and just flat out suck in big moments. Maybe it's time they hire a defensive minded coach who brings a different mindset to the team and the results are different in these kind of games.
Last year when this team was 3-6, the playoffs weren't even a consideration. Yesterday was where we hoped this team would be back then. Andy is right, disappointed is the right word. I think if this is what we get next season, we're having a different conversation.
I think the Malik Willis run weeks 2 & 3 was my favorite part of the whole season. Frustrating to not have a big win. Super excited for this offseason and the weapons we can add to both sides of ball to improve.
I felt GB was doomed 3 weeks ago. When we fumbled and turned the ball over on the opening kickoff I knew we were doomed. Love and Lafleur were horrible.
Yeah it really sucks - but it seems chances are high that Love's play at the end of last year was a bit of a fluke. They should have transitioned to more of a physical run and shorter/more high efficiency pass game. Possible that that's the best way to win with Jordan Love. Goff was awful early in his career - but this is the kind of team the Lions are now.
@@kylegood2622 Yep I tend to agree with all of that. My worry is that Love will become a Dak Prescott II and we will be the team we were this year for the rest of the decade. My hope is that this year was actually a fluke with Love and he will get back on track and start from where he left off during the playoffs in 23/24. At this point I have little hope of that.
@@mrsmartypants_1 Yeah, well... Who knows you could be right about that. We're all at the lowest point right now emotionally🤣... So it makes sense to have little hope today. But it could be possible that he comes around. I mean that stretch last year was pretty damn impressive. Favre had years with nearly 30 picks. I worry that LaFleur isn't the guy to turn them into a run/quick pass heavy, physical team... As this is also an option for Love to have success I think. Could still do the big pass/low efficiency throw plays sparingly. But now, when he drops back that's all the defense worries about and just protects deep - Banking on his inaccuracy. Often Zone or man doesn't even matter - he gives it to them either way. I could be totally off thou... Im not that smart. I mean for a minute I thought your username/handle was to be read "Mrs Martypants_1"
The short comings in other areas, poor tackling ( usually high) Valentine was posterized on his pathetic attempt vs Goddard. But my biggest bitch was the total ineptitude of both replacements for Jenkins. Oh my!!
ML needs a seasoned and experienced OC to help keep him on track and help him adjust when needed. Steno might be a good guy, but he is obviously not doing enough to help during games.
We need a better OC so MLF can focus on time management and spearheading a Super Bowel Contender. His playbook should be expanded into closing games instead taking over on offense during the second half.
Lafleur mentioned in is post game interview that he’ll comb through everything. He got his comb out again, and he talked about his “young” team. I’m tired of hearing the same excuses for poor play. These are grown men that have played this game their whole lives and have been in his system for at least two years. A blocked field goal attempt from losing every game in the division, pathetic.
If being 11-6, making the playoffs as the second youngest team in 50 years, and losing on the road in playoffs is pathetic, what word do you use for teams like the bears or saints?
Andy, great analysis. At the 24:10 mark of this video, Andy points out with data to prove the point. The QB is a huge problem. One of the lowest ranked QBs in the league. GB paying him 55 million/year. With one of the best RBs (Jacobs), his numbers should have improved.
I wish there was a real discussion about having this team ready for big moments. Unfortunately under MLF it’s the same shit every year. The team is never ready for the biggest moments. Is that culture?
All that really needs to be addressed beyond the egregious non-calls that plagued our team all season long, is the lack of dominance in our line play, on both offense, and defense. Matt LaFleur will appear to be a much better coach if he is provided bigger, stronger, faster, smarter linemen!
Can we please stop taking draft and develop players in the higher rounds? We seriously need some proven players instead of guys with high RAS scores. I don’t mind draft and develop in day 2 and 3, but we need some massive impact from our draft picks
Number one Gutey fan here. The last few drafts have been awesome, but the first rounders are pretty meh and borderline busts. Are there other teams that draft well at pick 25? Almost seems like 35 is a better pick…
@@Pensatarloit’s kind of irrelevant if a team specifically picks well at pick 25 or not. If there’s good players that come around or after that, then an opportunity was available. As far as the last few drafts being awesome, that still needs to play out. Lots of top 100 misses still. A major factor in the last few draft classes is that these guys had to play because the 2018-2021 classes burned right out in addition to moving on from the vets at the end of the Rodgers era, so they got a lot of starters and guys who’ve played a lot because more opportunities were available than an average draft class typically gets. They are good classes, better than the previous but it’s still lacking star power, and a lot of guys are still replaceable starters. Tom might be the only guy they resign from the 2022 class. 2023 good early returns from wicks Reed Kraft and CV but we’ll see what happens in their 3rd years and the other guys. 2024 cooper and Williams probably studs, maybe Bullard is good but unknown after.
I thought the Pack should have waited to the end of this season before extending Love’s contract. He is currently not a top 10 quarterback and we are overpaying for what we are getting
End of 2023 season - questions on D and lots of hope on offense End of 2024 season- questions on offense and lots of hope on D Such a Packers thing to do! 2025 is massive. It's not SB or bust but major growth needed. My honest fear is we stay middle ground and slowly delay the inevitable.
What a joke!!! Watching the TB - WAS game last night showed how overrated we are. Neither of those teams have the talent on offense like we have yet they played with a sense of urgency and they executed on offense. Daniels is day and night compare to Jordan.
Colts, titans, rams without Stafford, kupp, puka, bears, jaguars, Texans when their Oline was depleted, an average cardinals team, an average Seattle team, an average niners team, a bad bears team, a terrible saints team. 11 wins and not a single 1 is truly impressive when we get the entire scope of the season.@@Vic-u5c
Keep Gutey away from choosing in the 1st round and he'd be good. He's great at finding depth in later rounds, most of his rd1 picks are busts... 2021 - Stokes = bust 2022 - Walker = serviceable at best 2023 - LVN = between serviceable and bust 2024 - Morgan = hurt and most likely a bust
@@Pensatarlohow can you not. His issues goes back even further than this year. He couldn’t put together a capable special teams / defence with Aaron Rodgers and davante Adams lighting up the league. Matt lafleur is one of the brightest offensive minds in the league. What has gute done? Mess up obvious first round picks? I’m not giving him credit for spending money in free agency, that’s the bare minimum a gm can do.
@@Pensatarlothe packers were coming off an NFC title game with a terrible run defense, 2 very good running backs, and he went QB and rb in rounds 1 and 2, where is AJ Dillon and what has he done? Jordan love is clearly not worth the headache it brought since it closed a championship window.
@@Pensatarlois it all on Gutey? No, but his best acquisitions are the ones he’s paid in free agency for. Drafting could be a bit better. Not a ton better cuz that would be unrealistic and not acknowledging all GMs don’t hit at that type of clip, but his ROI on his early draft picks are lackluster for sure. Player extensions haven’t worked out very well. No good special teams during his tenure. After all his first act as GM was to trade for deshon Kizer, cut Jordy after not wanting him back even at a minimum, and then paying massive bucks for Jimmy Graham. It’s great he’s found a Rasul Douglas or a later round Zach Tom, but they don’t have enough blue chip studs and it’s largely because of drafting mediocrity early.
The Packers-Eagles Game was painful to watch. It started out as an extension of where the Packers were going from the Vikings game in December. The mistakes and poor execution still kept coming. The games with the Lions, Vikings and Eagles throughout the season though showed where the weaknesses are and not sure they are correctable in a single offseason. The Packers O-line yesterday showed they have a long way to go. It is clear that O-line personnel are not up to the Eagles or Lions and they will have to be to compete. Love is good if given enough time but execution falls off when he is pressured to the degree he was yesterday. Different than in 2023 it was clear this year that though the Josh Jacobs running game was good there was not a screen/short passing game that Aaron Jones gave the Packers. So, they need a much better O-line and a change-up talented RB to go with Jacobs. My view is the Jacobs running game works for the Packers but it would work better with a power running O-line like the Lions and Eagles have. A Zone-Running game like the Packers try to put together seems to me to work best with a RB that is great at screens as well. The Packers did use Reed as the other guy but the O-line was just not good enough to make it work against the best teams.
Already looking forward to next year. Besides free agency and draft additions, we will basically be adding a first round T/G in Jordan Morgan, a third round RB who many thought was the best RB in the draft in Marshawn Lloyd, and a sixth round safety in Kitan Oladapo. All because of injury this year.
All that needs to be said is that a team is a direct reflection of their HC. And GB, under Matt Leflure, has been a team that cannot respond when they’re punched in the face. They do not exude confidence in crunch time and they play more to not lose than they do to win. Far too much of the energy from the ATL v NE Super Bowl from a number of years back, where Leflure was the QB coach. You might remember ATL gave up a historic 28-0 lead and lost to Brady. That exact energy is what Matt Leflure has brought to GB and we get what we deserve for it
The last few games last year gave us hope that Love could rise above the stupid decisions that doomed his last year in college and the first 7 games of last year. Our biggest fear is that This might just be who he is. 15 TDs and 15 ints with a 77 PR.. Those are Jamis Winston numbers
It’s just very frustrating to see week after week that we never saw this team learn from their mistakes. It’s also frustrating to never really see any consistency from this team and that’s been the story for a number of years. We obviously don’t know all the factors that went into us underperforming, but you would’ve hoped we saw some form of progression or course correction. I would really love to see a bit of a culture shift and to see this team fired up and prepared instead of constant games of only playing one half or one quarter.
What’re you talking about? Jordan ran a few times and had one crucial run that allowed us to convert a 4th down. I understand being bummed about a loss but don’t make up bs to fit your narrative
This team is still a 3% improvement in a handful of areas from being elite. Onto the offseason with A LOT of cap space and hopefully some soul searching. Love go work on your footwork and making your progressions. MLF figure out how you want this offense to operate and better clock management. Depending on who is available I expect a veteran pass rusher and maybe CB and an early CB, WR, OL in the draft
Thank you for your dedication and hard work to keep us all informed! Next up for GB,we need to bring in a demolition man on the defensive line. Max Crosby from the Raiders would be a great fit! We need a veteran WR. I think we can use a press man coverage CB that has NFL experience already. Draft a DT,LB, 2 O-Line players, then draft depth for positions. I think we should add to WR room 👍🏼👍🏼.
Jordan has been at his best playing within the system quick read and rip it. This year was way too much hero ball. If Matt can reign him in I think there is enough talent he can be a good high level game manager type who can make the throws. If he is going to continue to play fast and loose he's gone after 2026 when we have an out.
It was urgent that we got off to a strong start and after five minutes it was as bad as can be. It sucks but in reality we all knew next year was likely the year when it can all come together. Tons of young talent on the roster.
A tough way to end the season. Hope the Packers can add some pieces in FA and in the Draft and get better. One thing is for certain this show has the best Green Bay Packers content out there!
I am most disappointed with love and Matt. They can’t change same shit every game .Thise guys making multiple penalties would be gone and Jordon is leading those wide receivers into injuries.
There are only two truths to take away from this game imo: 1. The opening play was a bs call by the refs AND instant replay, missing the clear recovery as well as the helmet to helmet hit, and it set a bad tone for the rest of the game. The NFL should be ashamed of themselves for that one. 2. First play aside, this team is what we saw all year: talented but inconsistent, and the results today weren't too surprising. They didn't earn the win today. The eagles didn't even play that well, and our defense was keeping them in check. The offense needs to improve because the only one that looked like they wanted and deserved to be there was Josh Jacobs. Honestly disappointed in the rest of the offense and it feels like some retooling needs to take place. Onwards to the off-season, GPG.
Thx Andy. I think one macro issue to look at is our team building philosophy. During the TT years it seemed to be: ensure you make the playoffs with young teams, no FAs, don't reach for potential greatness and limit the risk of a huge failure. They did this to perfection but also only made 1 SB. Gute came and seemingly tweaked the formula to try and get back to the SB at the tail end of Rodgers prime which I thought was the right move. Now I'm not sure where they are, in-between maybe? Like we are back to being the youngest team in the league again, draft and develop, etc. with an ugly playoff loss to an elite team. BUT we did sign two big free agents. What do you think Gute's long term strategy is?
This season felt more like you expected the '23 season to be - an inconsistent growth year. But they were still able to get more wins. The offense never found a true identity - not sure why. And why weren't they able to build on the momentum from last season? So many areas the offense needs to tighten up - game planning/in-game adjustments/discipline/execution/general want-to. That said, the team is still ahead or at least on track with where you might have expected with the transition to Love - having made the playoffs both seasons with one impressive win, reasonably impressive loss and a horribly disappointing loss. Seems like a sophomore slump in many ways. Can they review, reflect and make the adjustments and growth in the offseason to put it all together and reach their potential? That's the question - sure hope so. Will take the discipline in many areas that they were lacking this year.
Packers have their 7 picks in 2025 draft. With limited or no production from Morgan, Lloyd, Hopper, Glover, Oladapo, Monk and King it's like adding a second draft class. With $50M+ in cap space and having 2024's youngest roster bodes well for the 2025 season.
The Packers were a frustratingly fun team to watch this season. Growth is not always linear. I'm excited about Hafley's defense in year 2 and expect them to make a jump. Jacobs and Kraft were stellar all year long. Right now, I don't trust any of the receivers (between drops and injuries). Love has work to do. The pass rush was poop, and I think we've seen the last of Alexander as a Packer. Hopefully, Guty can add some pieces that can contribute right away through the draft, and get some quality FA to come to Green Bay.
26:42 definitely on love, but I'd like to see th separation stats for the wr's this year. I remember years ago the Packers had an issue with speed on offense as they had the worst separation rates in the league.
Philly was leading with their helmets all game, especially on defense. Both the Jenkins and Reed injuries were direct results of leading with your helmet.
Excited for the defense under hafley. Edge coop, Williams and Bullard in the slot have had a big impact. I haven't been too impressed with Bullard as a deep S, though. Olidapo showed a bit in very limited time. The offense has looked completely lost at times, even with a great year from jacobs. That's the biggest surprise of the season. And I think it starts with Jordan. He NEEDS to improve because he hasn't had a lot of good games outside that late stretch last year
Frustrating end to the season, but thanks Andy for your efforts and fantastic content. At least you might have better success with Liverpool this side of the Pond!
MLF should hand play calling to adam Stenavich or find an OC that knows his system. I think he would benefit greatly from having an offensive coordinator call plays while being focused more on the players, but still give input. Play calling should be a collaborative effort. MLF still can game plan and Steno can call plays. When was the last time GB ever had a offensive coordinator handle play calling durites anyway?
The two playoff teams we beat Houston was missing4 starters on defense and starting tackle on offense. The Rams were missing their QB and #1 WR. Unless the We can't make the playoffs as a wild card and third place is the best we can do in the NFC North.
In no way am I blaming officials on this one, it was way beyond that. However, the officiating crew was suspended from the post season last year for being bad. After a game that was called like that, I would be ok if no one from that crew saw a football field again.
I felt the same way. The Nixon fumble was so costly. I do believe he recovered the ball. You can’t fumble in those situations. The NFL review and decision was highly questionable. This is not a disciplined team. Passing offense was nearly non existent. Accountability is a problem. Love was horrible. The Packers are a good team but not a great team. Inconsistency = Green Bay Packers
The Packers need more depth at wide receiver a new coach and more players on defense. Jordan love needs to be benched I think he still needs to learn more he's still playing terrible.
Thank you for being a voice of reason and nuance here. Yes, this was a bad game from Jordan. Yes, Jordan probably hasn't been quite up to the level we'd like this year on the whole. But this social media reaction where he's basically glorified hot garbage and the Packers should be looking for an exit from his contract feels like an extreme overreaction. He was a top 10 QB on most boards this year with flashes of being even better, we could have it a lot worse. (Also feel the need to point out that at this respective point in his career, AR had not won a single playoff game. Love set the bar high with the postseason run last year, but it almost seems like the Packers fanbase would be more optimistic now if they hadn't made the playoffs at all last year, even if all the 2024 stats/games/outcomes were the same -- which feels a little absurd when you break it down like that, doesn't it?)
Obvious helmet to helmet and fumble recovery. We should have started mid field. What video replay were they looking at? Why no play action? Our two offensive linemen could not move their Tackle to get a crease for Jacobs. The tight end tush push was only creative thing out of LeFluer. Love missing throws. Missed field goal was game changer. Get 'em next year.
The only thing that matters was a NFC champ game...whenever they lose fans want to get rid of everybody, nothing will be logical. So winning 12-13 games wont matter because a lot of fans will ignore it anyway if they lose in the playoffs
fans want to win a superbowl, that’s the standard, Lafleur talks about it all the time. So you bitching about the fans who want to get better and win a championship is stupid, the head coach knows it, there’s a standard, get over it.
The crazy thing is we didn't even start making the playoffs in the Rodgers era until year 2. We didn't have super bowl expectations until that year 3 super bowl run. Fans expectations though yes super bowl is obviously the end game have to be more realistic with still litterally the youngest team in the league.
Enough of this youngest team in the league last year that was the esxcuse this year there was expectations they didnt meet those expectations so things need to be done players need to be cut and some coaches need to go thats football get over it@@jamrodgers121

MLF may have earned the right to learn from his mistakes, and there is no way that Green Bay will change course...but do you actually think Matt will improve significantly? His blindspots and weaknesses seems pretty set at this point
Just another wasted year..Qb regressed, constantly throwing hospital balls to our wrs( alot of throws that put wrs in bad positioning) we put miles on Jacobs legs that didnt amount to anything..wasted the best performance from our D all year...not shocking just exhausting
You’re right. The Packers D played excellent and gave every opportunity for Love to win this playoff game vs. the Eagles. Instead, Love plays his worst game with three picks and inaccurate deep passes that sealed this Packers loss. Just an awful game by Love in a big game. Now they are stuck with a subpar pedestrian QB who is grossly over paid the next three years. Look how a rookie Daniels played QB to beat the Bucs in a high pressured back and forth game!!! A rookie!!
@@DylanNosotti clearly you missed my point. "Look at Daniel's first playoff game." As if Love didn't absolutely shred the Cowboys defense worse than Daniel's did the Bucs defense this year.
@jamrodgers121 its not the point ths entire team has regressed except the defense its ridicolous the way we beat the cowboys last year and the way we played the 49ers and then we come out and do this, this year was a joke and matt lafluer has proven he cannot get us to a superbowl
I'm going to state that I am no football expert but I do have my opinions. I feel Matt called more bad games this year then good ones. I feel Jordan is still going to be a great quarterback but I don't know if it will be under Matt or with the Packers! I believe Love was never given the chance to find his rhythm and was only given the ball when we were behind late in the game and all the pressure was on. That wasn't fair to Love. I think we ran the ball way to much and that made it to where every defense knew what we were going to do. I don't think Watson will ever be what we need him to be which is sad because he's a great receiver. He just can't stay healthy. I feel Doubs was a better go to receiver this year. Kraft was great and I think he'll always have a home with the Packers. Many things need to get fixed this year.
Thanks for outstanding coverage of our Green Bay Packers, you do a great job. As disappointing this season turned out, you did not disappoint. On to next year and as always Go Pack Go!
The GB defense played their hearts out and got Philly to punt 5 times, allowing Love and the offense to come back and win this game after the opening fumble by Nixon. But instead Jordan Love again plays like a journeyman back-up QB throwing three interceptions …and no where’s near the “franchise QB” the Packers think he is. At this point it appears the reputation Love has is all “potential” and over-hyped media stories. The reality is that Love is an “average at best QB” who is grossly overpaid as he is inaccurate on deep passes and inconsistent in big games against the better teams. His QB play vs. the Eagles was horrible but yet most will make excuses for him saying he was injured or still young or it’s the receivers fault and he needs a #1 receiver. The reality is the Packers made a colossal mistake signing Love to a mega contract without waiting another full season. As a 5th year QB he just regressed this year and Jayden Daniels as a rookie is a far better “winning” QB in the playoffs than Love is. The problem is that GB is stuck with Love three more years even as he is closer to Daniel Jones 2.0 rather than being an “elite” QB. What a purgatory the Packers are now in against wining NFL teams the next three years with Love losing big games for them. He single-handedly lost that game to Philly - no excuses!!
The Packers havent won a game since December 23 vs a JV Saints team The Packers were putrid the last 2 games and they can now sit with that for 8 months. There next two years are a big two years for our Head Coach and Quarterback. Do better
Massively appreciate all the work you do, Andy. It’s not always easy to take a sober, honest look at the team and their performance but you didn’t hold back or sugar coat anything in this breakdown, and I think we need a lot more of that from people covering the packers. Can’t wait for the offseason content. Go pack go
Game was tough but I still believe in this coaching staff and team. A couple of more pieces this off-season and they're gonna be even better. The team is literally better than last year and people are talking about firing everyone. What are yall smoking?? GPG
I believe eventually Lafleur will be shown the door. I hope that's not the case and he starts winning SBs. He consistently keeps underperforming in big games, we have never had a signature win with Matt and now it's year 7. He had one of the greatest QBs and couldn't get it done. With Love I'm not sure he's good enough either he keeps ending seasons with INT and choking but we just signed him so he isn't going anywhere. Just freaking draft, sign vets, and situationally coach better and then win next year get to SB and win. Then I will believe in MLF and Love. Keep playing the way you did this year and you won't be anything more than 4th best team in the North. MLF got beat by a position coach and a Bears team that had nothing to lose. Unacceptable... Go Pack Go 🧀
The timing of the throw, velocity, arc of the ball, placement of the ball, all play a part in the catch. While pro receivers are expected to catch everything, Love certainly didn't make it easy on them on a lot of those drops.
A few things...We cant be surprised of the outcome. They limped in the playoffs and rolled the dice. The draft and develop has NOT worked with the 1st and 2nd round picks in a lot of the recent drafts. 1st round =immediate impact. Aside from J Love who that was drafted in the first two rounds are making an impact now? Van Ness isn't an immediate impact...Stokes didn't pan out..Wyatt didn't pan out..R.Gary is starting to to turn the corner. Packers need IMPACT players from the first two rounds. Last three years they have been needing Defensive Ends. This would help with the pass rush problem if they address that issue in the draft. WR is another position they need an impact player. Receiving by committee has not been working because you cant know who is going to show up. People have to be schemed open...GB needs a guy that has some footwork to get open. Philly was giving GB so many opportunities by running the ball on 3rd down and long plays almost giving them a chance for a possession afterwards on 4th down. GB didn't capitalize on those opportunities. They need game changers at CB now that Stokes and Alexander future is in question now in GB. Honestly, is Nixon the answer? Let's be honest. They have an eye for talent (McKinney and Jacobs) they just have to actually go out and use it correctly. Certain key positions need to be filled with bona fide gamechangers not Buildabrand projects. Who had LV on there draft board first round (not to say he wont be great) ...I'll wait? Lastly MLF has done well up to this point. Everybody has had hiccups. He unfortunately have been having them at the wrong time. Learn from it and move on. (Drafting) Change starts with spending more time directing and not ALWAYS building and mentoring. Do you go to a car dealership to ALWAYS buy a fixer upper? That NEW Bona fide Sedan/SUV/Luxury car/Pickup can sometimes be more beneficial with the hood down and tool box put away.

@@overtonwindowshopperyou can wish that but Gary Clark and LVN aren’t going anywhere. Ja is the only who’s done.
Yes, yes they were.
Oh my!!
Depending on who the bears hire, Matt Lafleur is about to be the worst coach in the division, he’s #3 now, but let’s give him 4 or 5 more years!!
I’m still able to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the “young” excuse is getting a little old
Reed stepped up had a good game. Not fair to say none of the WRs stepped up
Andy, great analysis.
I am so proud of this defense. Knowing that they have the whole off season to dig into details leaves me excited for that Unit.
100% We got some real nice contributions from the draft class too if they grow at all they should be great.
Love held out for a new deal and got the big money and had a terrible year. He never looked comfortable or decisive in the pocket.
I thought the Pack should have waited to the end of this season before extending Love’s contract. He is currently not a top 10 quarterback and we are overpaying for what we are getting
End of 2023 season - questions on D and lots of hope on offense
End of 2024 season- questions on offense and lots of hope on D
Such a Packers thing to do! 2025 is massive. It's not SB or bust but major growth needed. My honest fear is we stay middle ground and slowly delay the inevitable.
Probably end up with lots of hope on special teams and 0 hope on offense and defense 😂
What a joke!!! Watching the TB - WAS game last night showed how overrated we are. Neither of those teams have the talent on offense like we have yet they played with a sense of urgency and they executed on offense. Daniels is day and night compare to Jordan.
Love was terrible . The 13th overall draft pick LVN did nothing and our wideouts are unreliable and hurt often .
MLF needs to go. Just super overrated! All of his winning records was in our chump division until the last two years. The flaws have been exposed
You are more easily replaced than the HC
If there was parity in the NFL the packers win loss record be 500. There are 10 teams with horrible records that elevated the packers win loss record
Andy, I follow several Packer's RUclips channels. Yours is my favorite!!!! Love your insights!!!
At what point does MLF and Gutey start catching some heat. Same playoff failure year after year.
How can you possibly put this on Gutey
Keep Gutey away from choosing in the 1st round and he'd be good. He's great at finding depth in later rounds, most of his rd1 picks are busts...
2021 - Stokes = bust
2022 - Walker = serviceable at best
2023 - LVN = between serviceable and bust
2024 - Morgan = hurt and most likely a bust
And a "trade deadline" addition of a dynamic if not inconsistent WR.
Don’t worry Andy I drank enough for the both of us!
That exact energy is what Matt Leflure has brought to GB and we get what we deserve for it
Andy you are the best. THANK YOU for increasing our football knowledge, your insight, but most importantly your energy.
Matt’s heading into his 7th year. Next year will be a big one. To much we could have done better, that’s on me, and more of the same.
The last few games last year gave us hope that Love could rise above the stupid decisions that doomed his last year in college and the first 7 games of last year.
Our biggest fear is that
This might just be who he is.
Thank you Andy for all you do! Believe it or not l.. I never miss an episode. Love all of it.! Go Pack Go!
I think it's time for steno to go. Matt needs to bring in somebody who is great offensively and a good play collar.
Jordan didn't even try to run. We need a QB who can run. It's just the way the league is now
The problem is Jordan is really fragile and afraid now.
What’re you talking about? Jordan ran a few times and had one crucial run that allowed us to convert a 4th down. I understand being bummed about a loss but don’t make up bs to fit your narrative
@@PackerBacker911fragile? Lol. Afraid? Lmao. Maybe if the line could have protected he would’ve been more settled
@@kreed4480 Maybe, maybe not. What we do know is he's fragile and afraid to run now.
@@PackerBacker911 how’s he fragile? And afraid to run? I’d like to know what evidence of this you have otherwise you’re just full of nonsense
Great attitude
Can we stop calling MLF an elite coach, every big game this season the team was unprepared and uninspired when the game began. That’s coaching
Same here, the coach and the QB are the most important aspects to the game.
There are only two truths to take away from this game imo:
Thanks for all of your (and your teams) hard work.
Our first year DC has his unit ready to play. Our HC has had 6 years and has never fielded a consistent offense at any point.
All the injuries just too much to overcome hope Romeo and Josh are okay
Let's put a shout-out to Reed. He played amazing as well. GO PACK GO!
Andy's opening statement is just one of the reasons that I feel part of a community concerning this channel.
Thanks Andy. Great balanced thoughtful content as always.
They 'young' because gute only drafts busts
Love your show regardless
This season was not a failure? They regressed outside of beating bad teams.
I hate social media always blows everything out of proportion makes the loss even worse
Philly was leading with their helmets all game, especially on defense. Both the Jenkins and Reed injuries were direct results of leading with your helmet.
I don't understand why Matt want the ball 1st when they never score on the 1st drive.
Philly won the coin toss and deferred.
Matt saying in the post game press conference that if he knew what was wrong then it would have already been fixed is a major red flag
Something felt off about this team from the very beginning. Cuz of that, I wasn't super surprised or depressed by the Philadelphia results.
We looked soft 😢
The two playoff teams we beat Houston was missing4 starters on defense and starting tackle on offense. The Rams were missing their QB and #1 WR. Unless the We can't make the playoffs as a wild card and third place is the best we can do in the NFC North.
Another positive maybe? Essentially three extra top 100 picks next year with how little Jordan Morgan, Hopper and Lloyd played this year.
It seemed this year, man D, was Love's Kryptonite. But that's football. Great year.
I can testify that the Luiges pizzas are great and not your usual frozen pizza.
Thanks for all the insight Andy! Go packers🧀
@@doughensley9314so every time the team loses a playoff game they should blow up the team? Because that's what the guy is talking about. People talking out of their ass because they're emotional

A rookie!!
@peter so were you out cold last year for Love's first post season appearance or....
@jamrodgers121 so you were out cold for this years miserable performance
@@DylanNosotti clearly you missed my point. "Look at Daniel's first playoff game." As if Love didn't absolutely shred the Cowboys defense worse than Daniel's did the Bucs defense this year.
@jamrodgers121 its not the point ths entire team has regressed except the defense its ridicolous the way we beat the cowboys last year and the way we played the 49ers and then we come out and do this, this year was a joke and matt lafluer has proven he cannot get us to a superbowl
I hope the injuries of doubs and waston reed Emeka from Ohio state could be a option in the draft
You need to learn how to watch football. You suck as a fan of the GBP.
Signing love to a mega contract was a colossal mistake no doubt about it!
We need real ready to contribute CB
Disappointed Packers fans can console themselves with the knowledge that at least they're not Chicago Bears fans.
Matt Leflore should have bench Jordan at halftime. It might’ve given us a chance to come back.
Thought we would lose but not like that
Why did you have to bring up Brandon Turdstick Andy? Sincerely, how dare you.😂
The Packers havent won a game since December 23 vs a JV Saints team
The Packers were putrid the last 2 games and they can now sit with that for 8 months.
Go pack go
BRING AR BACK! On coaching staff.
I thought Tucker Kraft showed out
Game was tough but I still believe in this coaching staff and team. A couple of more pieces this off-season and they're gonna be even better.
The team is literally better than last year and people are talking about firing everyone. What are yall smoking??
GPG
I dont loo foward to the draft. Gute just going whiff on that 1st pick

30 drop passes by his receivers played a part.
Damn they had that many drops!!
@matthewpulizos3444 Reed had 11 and Wicks had 9
My bad 33 I looked it up again.
Had to catch wild ducks only ever thrown near you
The timing of the throw, velocity, arc of the ball, placement of the ball, all play a part in the catch. While pro receivers are expected to catch everything, Love certainly didn't make it easy on them on a lot of those drops.
Well look at the bright side Packers fans at least your not getting smoked again by Detroit next week 🤣
Dont sell TJ Rubley short .
Bring in Crosby free agency and Emeka in the draft
I thought the receivers did not take a step forward. Looking forward to year 3 from Wicks and Reed. Packers need to move on from Watson
He will likely be on the PUP list most of the season anyways.
Romeo Doubs might be a question mark too. He had the special helmet on and still got a concussion. The fall to the ground was a routine play.
Someone is going under the Bus. I think it will be Steno.
