Cant wait to see the finished product! I am going to be building my own and if this works well for you I may do this to form an original shape to the front of mine making it more aerodynamic!
A sheet rockT square & a utility knife cuts foam brd quickly with no mess ! A Brad nailer, even with 2” brads will not hold up with the stress of pulling & drying out of the wood, they will work loose, screws are the best option!
Lmao...just to throw this out there for those watching the poor mans fiberglass technique is an awesome finish and strong but everything thing else is an accident waiting to happen. Liquid nails is b.s. it's a waist of money! Been there done that. F26 is what it takes and (AND) you gotta rub the adhesive on ANY product or it doesn't bond good not even wood. As a remodeler I've seen many materials pulled apart with liquid nails all over that never adhere'd to what it was supposed to. If you've done any remodeling you know what I'm talking about.
Folks do some research alot of info out there from people that actually know what they are doing or atleast have some common sense about what they're doing...
I'm sorry, but the wood framework scares me. There's no top plate to tie the walls all together. You might want to look into some basic house framing videos. I hope it all worked out for you
...a lot of money to be wasted like this... there are a lot of videos that show how to do this well..."you don't need to go all ludicrous" etc... every mismatch at the beginning will stay with you throughout a project... yes, worry about wrinkles and the quality of the cloth...

Sand the foam before applying glue and canvas to ensure good adhesion.
And iron the drop cloth (not tarp) to get rid of wrinkles before gluing...
That turned out sweet!!! But my wrists were hurting just watching you. Get a short extension. You'll be glad you did.
INTERESTING
did this not work out?
We need an update!!! :)
i guess it is kinda off topic but do anyone know of a good site to watch newly released movies online ?
@Angel Dominik I use FlixZone. Just search on google for it :)

Did it ever get finished?
Have you had any issues with the scored foam?
Love the canvas application. Cool technique!
how did you attach the foam to the wood frame?
Never finished dang
Nice job.
Where did you buy the tarp from?
Good ol' American ingenuity at its finest!

My thoughts exactly.
The spacing between those interior studs doesn’t give me much faith in this thing’s durability at towing speed lol.
How much paint and glue did you use?
Hi, whats this end ?
What size is your trailer? What thickness of foam are you using?
The trailer is 6.5 × 12 ft. The foam I used was 1 inch thick, I wanted to go with 2 inch, but it was almost twice the price.
I miss your content. What's happening with your lil baby trailer?

That's not very much structure.
I'm not familiar with this technique, so it could be strong once complete.
maybe thats why this was the last video uploaded...

Stop saying "go ahead and" all the time. I challenge you to watch these and have 1 beer every time you say that. FYI, you better buy a few cases.
You mean “and go ahead and have a beer every time you say go ahead and……”
