To get no pop ups, go into oberver mode in the game (open console and type observe) - I record the game with OBS while being tabbed out and let it run in the background, and afterwards I speed the footage up with microsoft clipchamp (any other editing software should work too).

There are mods for timelapses. Pretty sure he uses them otherswise you would have to sit there for atleast 6 hours just for the footage
