6 weeks and his neck is already so strong. My 6 week old definitely requires a bit more neck support
My 8.5 week old cries her head off when going into the regular wrap or a clip on carrier. Almost as if she is claustrophobic. I appreciate the crying baby because it gives me hope that she will one day like the carrier since she likes to be carried upright.

I dont think thst the leg position was comfy for the baby
No, never spread your babies legs around you, it’s hard on their spinal colum, and hips and causes pain and later on joint problems. A side sling as you would hold them for nursing, then, when time to nurse they are already in position. Reverse sides often.
Well....that didn't work out so great. The kid is still crying and there's no head support.

This is no way to carry a new born .You are sliding the baby's legs apart which is not done with a new born 😢.
Ich finde den Ringsling für Neugeborene nicht optimal. Ich finde ein normales Tragetuch mit der entsprechenden Bindetechnik oder eine Babytrage, wie Manduca oder Ergo Baby, bietet einen besseren Halt und Stabilität.
