Thank you very much! We try to bring you real, honest food reviews that leave our viewers hungry! :) We hope you get the chance to try them-they were all so good!
Hello, thank you so much for watching and subscribing! We hope you’re enjoying the videos thus far. That is a fantastic question, and, yes, there definitely were! The most common problem was that an item just wasn’t worth it-financially or stomach space wise. Several dishes were subpar (not great versions of a fairly common dish), unremarkable or just far too sweet. The biggest culprits on the “skip it” list to me were: - From the Garden: Roasted Beets, Cashew Cheese and Micro Herbs with Lemon-oil Dressing at Flavor Full Kitchen for $4.50 (Boring-there were far better options to fill the stomach than this.) - Citrus Shortcake: Orange Chiffon Cake, Lemon Curd, Mandarins, Whipped Cream, Citrus Crumble from the Citrus Blossom for $4.25 (Way, way too sweet) - Vegetable Spring Rolls from Lotus House for $4.50 (Subpar) - Key Lime Tart with Toasted Meringue from Florida Fresh for $4.50 (Very subpar-I’ve had better at a gas station.) - Key Lime Funnel Cake topped with Crumbled Graham Cracker and Whipped Cream from the Funnel Cake stand for $12.00 (Weird, very sweet and just not worth it) - Earl Grey Tea Cake with Orange-Honey Filling topped with Honeybell Tangelo Buttercream, Honeycomb and Bee Pollen from Sunshine Seasons for $5.59 (Adorable but super, super sweet and the Earl Grey was completely overpowered) - Potato Pancakes with House-made Apple Sauce from Bauernmarkt for $4.50 (Subpar) - Potato Pancakes with Caramelized Ham, Onions and Herb Sour Cream from Bauernmarkt for $4.75 (Subpar-but better than the other Potato Pancakes) I hope this list helps you. Have you tried any of the items yet this year? What were some of your favorites and some of your least favorites?
