    A very realistic progression. I've always said that those videos showing people playing Fur Elise at 1 month are total BS! Good technique and hand independence. Well Done!

      well to be honest with enough practice you can even play the grade 8 pieces. I have 5 months into piano learning and last month i finished nocturne op 37 no 1 and now currently learning op 15 no 3. You should challenge yourself more than just these simple pieces

    • @tong157
      @tong157  Месяц назад

      Thanks for your suggestion. I do challenge myself to play more advanced pieces. But it is hard to play them without errors in front of camera. Right now my hand got injured, so I have to figure out more efficient way to practice and learn the piece as well as technique. Then enjoy the progress.

I remember when I got lessons as a kid I would jump on the keyboard I had at the time just 10 minutes before my tutor arrived, hoping I’d learn my homework…. Wrongo!!! @Thelegendofme 5 месяцев назад

    You are using a YamahaDGX670B. This is not a beginner level piano. I cant tell from this angle if it has the furniture stand or the triple pedal but both of those will bring this piano's cost to around $1000. Although it is possible for an absolute beginner to purchase high quality equipment before even knowing if they want to fully commit, I do think it's a little unlikely that you filmed all of these as a beginner, and instead just made a compilation of a bunch of short scenes all in one day for a long format clickbait video. This does appear to be a trend where people who have been playing piano for a long time will suddenly start making youtube "beginner" progress videos. An Alesis or a cheap casio is usually everyone's first digital piano. Not a high middle tier Yamaha.

    • @tong157
      @tong157  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you for watching my video. You can go to my video channel to see my piano journey starting last year: www.youtube.com/@tong157/videos
      You are right that some people may buy very cheep digital piano or even keyboard if they don't commit to learn piano.

    • @nellekx
      @nellekx 5 месяцев назад +4

      Lol...
      Do you realize it would take a lot more effort to change clothes for every take and change the camera position slightly to make a believable clickbait video?
      Plus, the instrument thing is bs. If you have the money, what's the point in buying a crappy "beginner keyboard" when you can buy a proper piano. My first piano was a middle tier yamaha, and my friend just bought a $650 guitar before knowing any chords

    • @Troystreetzproduction
