And everytime he does make a mistake (which is human), his dad's opinions are reinforced, like "well, dad's right, I really do ruin everything." So when Eric stopped coming to the window, he immediately believed _he_ fucked everything up again, he "did something wrong" to ruin it. This is why I was also heartbroken when the shop he worked at got robbed. He was so proud of teaching Jessie how to sit and got so excited to be entrusted the task of closing the shop (because someone finally valued him and his work) and it all got ruined the next day. It's like his dad's words got confirmed once again: Adam can't do anything right, he's a failure. Hopefully that trend stops in season 3 and we see him succeed at something and prove his shitty dad wrong.
Rahim is such a sweet guy, but he's not the one for Eric. Like Eric's mum said, Rahim didn't make him sparkle and Eric was trying to change himself in order to fit more into Rahim's ideal boyfriend. Adam makes him the happiest and despite the rocky beginning, the character development is strong and Adam has come such a long way and that's because of Eric. They make each other sparkle and I hope the writers don't butcher their relationship in S3 for the sake of "drama". Also, beautiful video! Brought a tear to my eye!

Just like i said in one of the previous videos comment. Adam was not bad by nature but made some bad actions. Closet is a dark, stinky and a lonely place. And sometimes it make you do bad stuff to keep it that way. Adam do deserves a light a ray of hope and that what eric is for him. Its hard to find someone to whom you can say I Love You. Hold on to them. And I love that particular sence where Adam's mother told him to express what you feel coz thats what makes u feel alive. Love the show and they really did a good character build up. Unfortunately we all have to wait a whole year now.
Sameer Suri when season 2 hadn’t released, i didn’t want eric back with adam because he deserved better after what adam had did to him, but when i finished season 2, i gotta say netflix did a great job in building adam’s character and now i feel happy for them and i ship them so hard, though i still can’t get over the main couple’s ending 😭😭

I adore these two so much. 😍 Not just their relationship but the development of Adam has been incredible and I hope they stick with it in the next series. He's a classic example of someone brought up in a strict, emotionless household and there's plenty of those around! I myself have difficulty expressing emotions because of my upbringing, perhaps not quite as badly as Adam, but I can very much identify with his character.

While I think Adam is coming into his own and being able to love yourself makes you a much better person, Rahim is already a good person. Who loved Eric very much. He put himself out there to try to understand everything about Eric even if he didn’t agree, ie faith and church. Eric is in love with Adam, and he definitely makes Adam a better person so I’m happy for them. But I do hope Rahim finds someone just for him in another season bc he deserves to have someone feel as strongly for him as he does for them.

While I think Adam is coming into his own and being able to love yourself makes you a much better person, Rahim is already a good person. Who loved Eric very much. He put himself out there to try to understand everything about Eric even if he didn’t agree, ie faith and church. Eric is in love with Adam, and he definitely makes Adam a better person so I’m happy for them. But I do hope Rahim finds someone just for him in another season bc he deserves to have someone feel as strongly for him as he does for them.
