I really love Adam’s character because under that tough guy bully persona is a complex person that is striving to be better. And I ALWAYS have a soft spot for complex characters.
Adams character development was beautiful it turns out all his bravado and the way he bullied Eric was just a defence mechanism because he actually in fact liked Eric, it’s the classic when a boy likes a girl in the playground he pulls the girls pigtails, it just turned out that Adam loved Eric more than Eric loved him and that’s sad.

If you ship Adam and Eric after season 2. I get it. If you shipped Adam and Eric after season 1 you have some serious problems. I had an Adam in high school. He is the reason I wanted to kill myself, so I was pretty digusted last season when they made Eric and him have a sexual relationship or whatever that was. It was disturbing. I was glad with Ottis his reaction when he found out.
