    I wish Dillon still made the multi-caliber shell plate but I don't think they do anymore.

    Good video bro, Dan has cartel skills when it comes to packaging stuff lol. BL 550 is a great machine and the most affordable Dillon. The 550 platforms makes great ammunition and very precise. My suggestion for all who can’t afford the whole 550c kit purchase the press and purchase items as you can. Just be warned Dillon dies are super backordered I would suggest getting a different type of dies. Also inline is the way to go I love their products and built to last.

    Looking at all the offerings for this specific press I don't see any parts for the BL500. Is the stand and bullet trays compatible with the BL550 and the RL550?

    Love the InLine mount. I have the dillon strong mount, I would much prefer this. Not a fan of the Philips head screws though.

    I use to reload on a Dillon 550, but I’m having to start all over from scratch. How do you compare the BL550 to a Redding T-7 or Lyman AA8? I’m torn as to which way to go. I’d be loading 9mm, 40, 45, 357/38, 223, 6.5 Crede, 6.5 PRC, 6.8 Western, and 300 Win. My issue with the Dillon is that is a lot of extra money just to set up all of the different tool heads and caliber conversion compared to a few turret heads. But what is your opinion?

      I am partial to the T7.

      I have an AA-8 and it’s nice but it’s not a T-7! If I had to do it all over I would have 3 T-7‘s and would’ve never bought anything else but Redding! My big boss 2 just came in and is super tight!!!

      I use to load almost everything off of my Dillon 550, but it would cost over $1500 just to set up a press, and that’s without dies. I really like Redding products, but I’m on a tight budget these days, so I was looking at the Lyman Ultimate Reloading System for now. Later I will get a Dillon RL550 and a Redding T-7 too.
      For now I can barely afford the Lyman setup. As for rifle dies I like the Redding Master Hunter set, but for pistol I’m torn between the Redding Competition Pro Series with an extra expander die, or the new LYMAN PRO DIE PACKS, which has an expander die in the kit.

    Was that a paperclip on the primer area? And can you get an auto primer system with that

    • @SquatchReloaded
      @SquatchReloaded  2 года назад +1

      The paper clip is for the case insertion. Same as the 550C. And yes you can get an auto primer however if that is what you want might as well go with the 550c out the gate

      It is shown in the parts schematic that came with your press. 13925 is the Dillon p/n I believe
