Voice is huge for building an all-in-one agent! Glad you're enjoying it so far - it'll just keep getting better from here. The beeping is a confirmation audio cue after the agent recognizes a user utterance, and you can control how the agent voice and audio cue sound! Head over to Settings > General within your agent. Under General Logic, you can select the default TTS from a number of providers including ElevenLabs (it should be Alexa by default). Then scroll down, and select from a number of audio cues (or select none to turn it off).
It's integrated directly into Voiceflow's agent-building platform, meaning you can build, test, and launch with the same granular control you get for chat agents without needing to connect to other services that may not offer the same customizability. Give it a try by signing up for the early access program and let us know your feedback!

voice still isnt there yet. until you cant tell its a robot, im screaming "OPERATORRRRRRRRR, REPRESENTATIVEEEEEEEEEEEE' At the top of my lungs and then screaming at the human who finally picks up WHY did you make me talk to a robot. NO ONE wants to talk to a robot, ever. Maybe someday it will be there, especially for lead gen. Real estate already tried this and it was a massive failure trying to get people to book appointments for home showings.

We actually have a customer right now who has a bot calling hotels to make reservations that is so good it sometimes 'gets away' with being a human, but generally we believe that ethically the bot should always disclose it is a bot if it gets that good. Lots of work to do, crazy times ahead for the industry!
