All of those numbers are real people with loved ones, passions, aspirations and expectations. People like you and me gone just like that. Our brains are not even capable of understanding such great numbers. Yes, we know what it means to lose one person or to maybe 3-4 people, but when we see such gigantic numbers we can never even hope to understand the true gravity of those tragedies. War is an offense to everything that is valuable.
