The only mystery that I've ever come across was a fully rendered Little Sister, she was breathing and everything, in the same area that you started this video with. She wasn't doing anything or going anywhere, she didn't have a Big Daddy, and I couldn't interact with her. She was just standing there. Not so much a mystery as a glitch, but she was a mystery to me.
That's really odd.
@TheBioshockHub It was! I continued to play through and when I came back she was still there. It might be just a Switch glitch, IDK. I've also seen a fully rendered fire just in the middle of nowhere, hanging in the air. I filmed that with my phone, and I'm glad I did. If I ever see another lost Little Sister I'll film her too.

@spooky4047 It was spooky for sure! I tried everything to interact with her, but it was no use. She'd already been rescued because her eyes were not glowing. She was breathing, but not moving. I wish I'd filmed her with my phone, if it ever happens again I certainly will.
I played the Game last week and this happened to me too, a little sister standing just after the dolor to enter that area
If I remember correctly, an audiolog near the start of the game hinted that songbird was one of Elizabeth’s childhood friends. I cannot remember much about the audiolog but I remember that audiolog peaking my interest above all others because of the implications
Songbird is definitely interesting.
I'd love to hear about urban legends about bioshock like the ones that used to be in old PS2 games, that could be neat

The biggest and most interesting mystery for me was the scene at the end in Bioshock infinite in which Booker opened mentioned the silly idea of an underwater city.
So: what reaction would the og Booker have of being in Rapture, meeting Atlas etc.
And: what reaction would Jack have of being in Columbia etc.?

the biggest mystery for me that i would say gets a lot into theory speculation is the luminicent biomass mentioned in only an audio diary at the end of bioshock 2, behind scenes commentary reveals that the LB is the reason why the Adam slugs exists, but what it realy is its still a mistery (sorry for english is my second language)
in my head canon the LB is a giant tear underneath rapture, a tear that leads to the world thats the origin of the Adam slugs, and not only that but that the LB has some eldritch elements to it, and affects the humans around it, and rapture being build ontop of it is not a coincidence, I imagine the LB called ryan, like when he was still looking for a place to build rapture as explained in the ryan park of bioshock 2 he just almost randomly decided that rapture should be build in that part of the ocean, it was the LB that affected his mind and basically directed him to build next to it and eventually use the Adam slugs, but maybe the LB feeds on the citizens of rapture in their dispair and suffering, again very eldritch
also the phsycological effects of adam and the adam plants having the enrage properties lead me again to think of adam as an alien or otherworldly sustance, again i repeat very eldritch of them to make everyone who consumes them crazy, not to mention THINKER being a computer that trough Adam gained sentience
maybe the thing behind the LB or the LB itself are trying to spread the use of Adam trough the world, and the ending of minervas den being that of tenembaum researching how to use Adam in the surface without the phsycological consecuenses of it makes me think the LB won at its plan of making adam reach everyone in the world
also you know how in infinite everyone is always wondering how fin has enough adam to mass produce drinkable tonics that in burial at sea we are told require x10 more adam and he does it with out little sisters? maybe the tear they are using to get the Adam is leading them to the world of origin of the slugs (the world behing the tear/LB under rapture) and thats how they have enough slugs to keep the production up
also this especulation of mine may be the reason all the cats of rapture are dead, like you know its popular to say animals see and feel things humans cant, and cats being tied with magic and the occult, so maybe the LB literally killed all the cats for its inmense power or influence on living things
and also the horrible appearance of ghil alexander after being filled with adam could be a lead of how the beings in behind the LB may look probably because of adam slugs and plants being the base of the food chain in that world
as i said a lot of this is wild speculation, maybe the most credible part of this theory is the LB being a tear
Q.R : the luminicent biomass is a tear under rapture with eldritch atributes, it leads to a world filled with adam slugs and plants (and probably eldritch horrors), it lead ryan to build rapture there, it kills the cats and is where fin gets the adam for his tonics
My biggest BioShock question is what is the entity outside rapture? In an audio diary (I forget which) there is a random character that quotes “something being out there” and “watching him” it is implied that this thing is what infused the slugs with what gives Adam its properties (I swear to god this was an audio diary, I think in 2, sorry if this was some random dream I had. If you know which diary this is, please tell me the name as a reply)

you can find about the surface in the book RAPTURE by John Shirley, if we consider it canon...
One mystery i wanna figure out is what jack did on the surface until 1960 and how they got him to book the flight. Did they have other people with him or did frank cobtact him with a radio? Either way there could be more people who either heard those radio signals or housed jack, so a few people would know about rapture and adam.
I got one, what did Suchong want with Elizabeth's hair? And also could having that hair sample in Suchong's clinic along with a VitaChamber give Elizabeth a way to come back like Delta?
He thought that was the answer to his imprinting test failures.
He didnt know it was Elizabeth's hair. He knew it was a hair from the human being that participated in the first successful imprinting experiment done by Fink. He thought the answer to imprinting is within the DNA. But he was wrong.
Regarding Eleanor and Tenebaum.
Eleanor probably found land and attempted to live a normal life if anything I imagine Tenebaum probably tracked her down in order to help her. At the end of Minerva’s Den Tenebaum is able to completely save Porter. I feel like he moved on fully and went on to live a normal life now that he’s free from Rapture.
Why can’t you edit comments on mobile? Anyway Tenebaum herself probably just raised the Little Sisters she brought back with her maybe with the help of Eleanor due the how much the Little Sisters like her. Funny enough I imagine most of them led fairly good lives after escaping Rapture.

I have hoped that the new game would involve the Lutece twins bringing Eleanor and Charles Milton Porter together, and both of them journeying to a future version of Columbia after the Vox took over. But I doubt that would happen.
As far as what would happen to Rapture, I think a rebel or usurper would have come along eventually.
I've always wondered what that distorted voice says over the intercom in the medical pavilion.
An unsolved mystery is a good one? That's functionally every mystery by definition at one point.
The biggest mystery of the entire bioshock universe is how does a man like erik (bioshockhub) survive rapture for >6years and somehow visit Columbia.

Hmmm, even without Frank Fontaine in the picture Dr Tenenbaum still discovered the slugs & her and Suchong still would have developed Plasmids. I think things would still have went bad but I think it would have taken a lot longer to happen without Frank in the picture.

@@TheBioshockHub But did they died? Or did they escaped out of rapture? That's what seemed to be missing from the multiplayer, their fates are unknown for their stories.

I think after escaping Rapture with Porter Tenenbaum continues her research on ADAM. Cuz in game we can see her sitting in bathysphere with lots of bottles (plasmids, Adam, lot 192)
Maybe she is researching ADAM's healing potential and ways to remove side effects of plasmids
I’ve wondered about the sea slugs, what were they and where did they come from?
Thankfully, we get some information about them through Tenenbaum. But still not 100% sure.

Also why didn’t more splicers have powers? I feel like I only saw incinerate, I can’t remember too many themed splicers. Would be useful to see how to apply certain plasmids
A few did, like the Houdini ones.
i think they were out of eve and since they had gone mad, they couldnt find a way to have access on more of it.

As for your first one pertaining to whether Rapture would have worked. Ryan deserves all the credit for pulling his vision off but as Fontaine said, "These sad saps. Everyone thinks that they can be Captains of Industry. But forget one thing, somebody's got to scrub the toilets." Ryan built a very top-heavy class system in Rapture. Few and if anybody wanted to do dirty jobs like scrubbing toilets. The poor people would have revolted eventually. Maybe not in 1959 or even the 1960s. But from 1970 onward Rapture's future becomes cloudy. And let us be honest, somebody would have found Rapture eventually (ala Subject Delta). Once Rapture is found the jig is up. And you forgot about Sofia Lamb.
In terms of Eleanor, I think she becomes whatever she wants to be. Personally, I think she goes to a top-level school like Harvard or MIT and lives a very peaceful life on the surface with her sisters. She teaches them right from wrong, watches them grow up, and/or if they so choose returns to their families. I also think she maintains a relationship with her mother though it is very distant and Sofia is most likely completely destroyed with her worldview turned to ash.

Wasn't Fountaine leaving the surface to smuggle contraband back into rapture? When I played the game I saw boxes with bibles which would mean that he was smuggling it from the surface as religion was banned. Could Fountaine be making rapture known to other people on the surface? In bioshock two when you face one of the older Irish brothers stated something "I'm not a freaking handyman."

i love this chanel but i really REALLY disagree with this one. Since rapture was purely built to be a free market without regulators to hold the best back, the plasmids would have circutated in the society unchecked dispite the detrimental effects to health. Plus everyone would have spliced as crazy to get ahead of the competition and survive and of course those left behind and forced ''to clean the toilets'' (as fontaine points out) would have revolted anyway. So it is a matter of time before rapture descends into chaos and colapse. Fontaine was just a small time criminal who happened to become the face of the inevitabe. i thought this was the whole point.
I wasn't stating them as fact, it was more of a fantasy type of video where you could just think of the potential possibilities. But I understand.
Why they couldn't give 4 more years for making Bioshock Infinite ?

the pauses in between the sentences huhu hit me harder than the epiphany after finishing infinite.
I think rapture would have always failed as long as there was Adam. Splicing would have destroyed the city regardless of Fontaine and the civil war
With Rapture, there's 2 factors into Ryan's Utopia: that being Brigid Tenenbaum discovering ADAM, which led to of course the Plasmid creation, which led to widespread drug use and mutation, which obviously wouldn't help the city "thrive", as you put it, but also we KNOW in Bioshock 2, as well as Bioshock Rapture, the novel, that the economy in Rapture was actually GARBAGE, which is THE point of unfettered capitalism. It's THE primary motif in the overall story. Even without Fontaine, Ryan's desire to have no laws or control over business would ultimately cause an inevitable revolution anyway. The poor wouldn't just put up with it. They didn't need an Atlas to get behind. Grace Holloway explicitly states this. The slums only got worse as the big businesses pushed the little ones out. Workers were taken advantage of, akin to Fink in Columbia.
In terms of mystery 2, I'd be more interested in seeing what happened to someone who ISN'T a good character (if we're going off the canon good endings). What does Sophia do? She's also on the surface, saved by her daughter. Her motivations are vastly different than the others.
Aaaaaaaaaand the last one: really? How could you possibly explain that a single person is inside that massive Songbird suit? You can't base a full theory off of "parental instinct" (even though that's exactly how the Big Daddys function too), without thinking LOGICALLY about how that would be achieved. Big Daddy, Big Sister, Handymen, etc... we all know how they work. We can SEE how they're just people modified. Songbird can fit a whole person in its hand. It's bigger than a bus. Good luck explaining that one lol.
For the the second mystery, I always thought that in bioshock 3 we would be playing as Eleanor, it just made sense. We played as Jack (closest thing to a splicer) Subject Delta (Big daddy) so playing as a big sister would make some sense atleast to me. That or Eleanor, Tenenbaum and Porter all reunit at the surface and go back to Rapture. In this game you can choose who to play, some levels will have specific characters for you to play, and you will be spitting up a lot, got this idea from Titanfall 2, where some levels you could only play as Jack Copper, or Bt-7274 (Jack's titan). In missions where you are with Bt, you can simply jump out of him whenever you want, but it's not always the best idea as Jack simply does has the health and firepower of a titan, so he needs Bt. These are kinda my theories of how the next game will look, based on some of the information given, like the game is liket to be set in rapture. The only other idea that I kinda hope doesn't happen, is we will be introduced to yet another character, and the mystery of what happens to Eleanor, Tenenbaum and Porter will remain unsolved. I just hope that the next game will start off at the end of Bioshock 2's timeline. No matter what happens though, I'll be excited for another Bioshock game regardless.
I hope we can see Eleanor, or some returning characters within the new game. There's still so much of a story there.

There is one mystery of BioShock 2, There’s no reference of BioShock 1’s endings I’m not even sure if the good ending is canon or the bad ending, BioShock 2 feels isolated from other side of rapture
There's a few easter eggs about it. For example, there's a group of splicers who talk about Jack and Father Wales treats him as a god. But other than that, that's it.
@@TheBioshockHub there is a portrait of Jack's plane in father Wales' level. Sofia Lamb and other people in the game clearly state that Andrew Ryan is dead. Tenenbaum says she came back from the surface when she found out that girls were disappearing around the world and so on... what other reference to the Bioshock 1 do you expect to see ?
Also Sofia lamb had an adjournment diary explaining Ryan died due 2 the W.Y.K phrase.
The best kind of misteries are the unanswered ones? Have you played Danganronpa....or VLR.......or Ace Attorney........or LA Noire...... or any mystery game? Unanswered questions are unbearable. Secondarily, I'm very curious what happens to Grace Holloway, her voice and speech patterns are instantly endearing to me, I just like her despite the fact that she barely exists in the narrative.
