Bajaj Auto Limited recorded total sales of 381,040 units in January 2025, a 7% increase from 356,010 units in January 2024, driven by strong export performance despite a decrease in domestic sales. Exports grew 37% to 172,681 units, while domestic sales declined 9% to 208,359 units.

The Ministry of Defence today inked a contract with Russia for the procurement of Anti-Ship Cruise Missiles in the presence of Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh in New Delhi. These missiles will significantly augment the combat capabilities of the Indian Navy’s submarine fleet,” the Indian Ministry of Defense wrote on X.
Both sides refrained from naming the family and the number of missiles to be procured. The missiles will be carried by the Russian Kilo-class (Sindhughosh-class) diesel-electric submarines in service of the Indian Navy.

The Gurugram Metro is poised for a significant expansion with a Rs 5,452.72 crore investment, aiming to strengthen connectivity across Millennium City Centre, Old Gurugram, and Cyber City.
The ambitious project will introduce 27 new stations along a 28.5 km route, enhancing urban mobility and reducing congestion in the rapidly growing metropolis, reported Republic World.
The expansion work is scheduled to commence on 1 May 2025, with funding from both the central and state governments.
The Haryana government will bear the majority of the cost with an investment of Rs 4,556.53 crore, while the central government will contribute Rs 896.19 crore towards the project.
