@@butter_0021 If the CPU is level 9, then most things won't change, but Giga Bowser will. When Giga Bowser is controlled by a CPU, he has a set period of time that he'll wait in between attacks, and that gets shorter the higher his level is, so Giga Bowser effectively does have a level 10.
Up B is a reference to Super Mario Galaxy 2, where when beaten, Bowser jumps up, spins with a dark aura on his hand and disappears in a kind of black hole shape, which is basically teleportation.
@@raiwserkoopa2221 True, although the animation used is the one from Super Mario Galaxy 2, so it's more a reference to that, the airdodge is a reference to Mario 64 though.
this is what happens when you love a character very much, as this bowser the most most accurate bowser i have ever played, and so I love it with a passion because I love playing bowser for the power and when this bowser has as much power as he does in the games, oh my god do I love every bit of it
This character has been around for a while! Also can we agree that this is just a playable boss character instead of a normal fighter, even before Giga Bowser?
any time skylanders shit gets referenced in the modern day it always makes me just happy, it's a good series that doesn't get as much positive recognition besides the whole toys to life aspect and the gameplay is unironically really fun and at it's best when they make both levels and bosses that are really fun
Anyway, I can answer some of your questions as well as point out some things you missed out on. First off, the way Giga Bowser works is that the meter above King Bowser's HUD fills whenever he gets hit or lands an attack, and when it's full, he can become Giga Bowser for a limited time before he's stunned. Fury activates when he's in a grounded neutral state (standing, walking, etc.) and his damage is over 101%. When it's active, he both deals and takes twice as much damage as normal. When he activates Giga Bowser while Fury is active, he becomes Fury Bowser like you showed in the video. The thing where he became see-through wasn't an easter egg; it was just a glitch that happens with Ronald. It has to do with a specific function in Rivals workshop that's altered a bit by Ronald. Giga Bowser also has a few more moves you didn't find, being a Side Special, Down Special, and Up Special. And while it may be surprising, the vast majority of King Bowser's attacks are actually references to specific abilities he has in various games (the only one in his base moveset that isn't is his Up Air). I appreciate the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed the character. As for the crashing, it's definitely something I'm aware of, and I do intend to optimize him further, but it will always be an issue to some extent, so I'm also planning to eventually release a Lite version cutting some extra features to allow more people to use the character. I'm very glad you ended up checking out the stage, and you assumed correctly; I did spend a very similar amount of time on the stage as I did on the character. Thanks for shouting out my video too.
Slept on it, and noticed a few more things. Firstly, aaaaaaaaaaa, I didn't notice until watching your video, but on my showcase video, I accidentally made the "Magikoopa" text disappear too soon. Aside from that, I forgot to mention that you can hold Neutral Special to fire again more quickly, King Bowser also has a Side Taunt, jumping on King Bowser damages opponents, and you can angle Giga Bowser's Neutral Special. You might know most of this depending on how much of my video you watched, but I figured I'd leave another comment just in case. I think it'd also be cool if in general, you checked to see if the characters you showcase have Abyss Runes (Sets of character-specific buffs/alterations that you can use in Abyss Versus, Abyss Endless, etc.) since a lot of characters have them, and they can be pretty crazy. Abyss Runes get to be pretty powerful, and a lot of more balanced characters will hide overpowered stuff in Runes. And characters that are already OP can get pretty insane with Rune buffs. If you do so, maybe you could also do a video going back over some of the characters you reviewed before to show off their Abyss Runes.
I feel like smash could learn alot from this interpretation of Bowser, maybe not have him be a giant with a rivals type gimmicks but the simple stuff like having an actual fireball, having jab reference mario 64, having a tail swipe from odyssey and SO much more.
I forgot about 1 thing that you didn't know about base form king bowser, when your crouch & someone jumps on you they take a bit of damage which is a reference to one of browser's defense moves in mario & luigi browsers inside story when it's the enemy's turn
Bowsers up B actually has a grab mechanic. If he teleports with someone close by he will take them, teleport to the next location and them hit them with a strong punch.
Down tilt and shield are from Odyssey Neutral air and up special are from Galaxy Down air started in Mario 3 but i think this one is from Super Princess Peach Neutral special may be from Super Princess Peach as well. Crouch, forward tilt, dash attack, side special, forward smash are from Bowser's inside story. Down special is like a modified version of one of Dark Bowser's attacks from Bowser's inside story.
Just a reminder that the game crashes if you try to have more than one Bowser at a time. Edit: I watched further into the video, the devs fixed Bowser, you can play multiple of him.
Bowser's Up B comes from the animation he does in one of the Mario Galaxy games (pretty sure it's from the 2nd game) and Moewser is just from Super Mario Bros 3D World, he ate a cat bell iirc
1 thing you should know wehn there are 2+ King bowsers at the same time if 1 has the giga form activated or is in the process of activating the others can't use it, probablbecause they would otherwise likely overlap & crash the game
The reason bowsers up b is like that is because in bowsers inside story, to teleport around the map there’s this wierd guy. When you find him, he allows you to teleport with your mind
these videos are really cool! Do you pheraps know M.U.G.E.N? It's basically rivals of aether but with a classic fighting game. Will you make a video about that game in the future?
Yep! The meter builds a little bit every time he gets hit and a bit less every time he lands a hit, and when it's full he can transform into Giga Bowser for a limited period of time.
Fun fact:
If a Bowser CPU fights anyone with "Mario" in their name, his CPU level goes up by 1
Too add to it, it also uses a different victory theme which mixes the stage cleared theme and the game over theme which was heard at the beginning of this video
Yep
What happens if the cpu is already level 9?
@@butter_0021 I don't think it changes, but imagine if you had to fight a level 10 CPU bowser

Proud to be a Bowser Main right now.
Lol

EWAH!
Only the bravest mans dare to main bowser
Let's go Bowsers!
This character has been around for a while!

That's exactly how the character was designed, if you check out the reveal trailer.
here's the thing they recently released a rework for him and it is INSANE how much they did with him
thats exactly what the character is, and it makes sense, bowser is the final boss in every mario game, and I love that design philosophy
@@magmarxiogaming6717 this is the rework, and it shows. shame they havent figured out how to fix the crashes tho...

Something you failed to notice was when you faced the three “Mario’s”, bowsers intro was different from what his normally is
The creator said: "Balance? Tf is that? Lets just put the canon Bowser in"
'oh wow look at these footstep sounds'
oh wow i didnt know we can look at sounds
I forgot about 1 thing that you didn't know about base form king bowser, when your crouch & someone jumps on you they take a bit of damage which is a reference to one of browser's defense moves in mario & luigi browsers inside story when it's the enemy's turn
People always forget that Bowser also knows magic.
For the question (if not already answered): Meowser is Bowser with the cat-suitpower up, that's about it.
Fun fact the down B as giga bowser is the vacuum ability from mario and luigi bowser inside story
7:52 “Oh! *Look* at the footstep sounds.”
" alright, for the *grand finale* "
i doubt that was intentional but thats the name of the final boss theme of bowser's inside story, i believe.
The song is called In The Final
Btw
Up B is from super Mario galaxy, he teleports away after you beat him
Fun fact : kirby copying king bowser should give an special bowser abillity
The dream collection one
Now we need the Koopalings and Junior
"look at the foot step sounds" YOU CAN SEE THE SOUNDS?!?!?!
7:50 bro said "look at the footstep sounds"
Bowsers up B actually has a grab mechanic. If he teleports with someone close by he will take them, teleport to the next location and them hit them with a strong punch.
Not only custom victory themes per costume but also a different 1 (or atleast with some skins) when atleast 1 mario is your opponent
13:14 ALPHARAD IS GONNA POG WHEN HE PLAYS RIVALS AGAIN. NOW HE AND JOME CAN PLAY KING BOWSER
The effoert they put into this is INSANE m8's
Down tilt and shield are from Odyssey
Neutral air and up special are from Galaxy
Down air started in Mario 3 but i think this one is from Super Princess Peach
Neutral special may be from Super Princess Peach as well.
Crouch, forward tilt, dash attack, side special, forward smash are from Bowser's inside story.
Down special is like a modified version of one of Dark Bowser's attacks from Bowser's inside story.
Neutral Special is either from Super Mario Bros 1 or Smash 4.
Down Special is from Super Mario 3D Land.
Pretty sure down special is a reference to when Bowser threw thunders in the air in the begining of Mario Galaxy.
Just a reminder that the game crashes if you try to have more than one Bowser at a time.
Edit: I watched further into the video, the devs fixed Bowser, you can play multiple of him.
Bowser actually do that aerial spin in a Mario Galaxy bossfight.
Bowser's Up B comes from the animation he does in one of the Mario Galaxy games (pretty sure it's from the 2nd game) and Moewser is just from Super Mario Bros 3D World, he ate a cat bell iirc
Multiple moves and the style (and more, like atleast 1 skin) is inspired by mario and luigi bowsers inside story
I love how many of his moves are BIS references
probably the biggest roa workshop character I've ever seen
Now I can become a controllable boss against my bros
Btw this bowser has alots of reference from, Mario & Luigi Bowser Inside Story.
This character alone makes me wanna get rivals
I was legit so excited for this vid!!
1:04 the swirl tail is a reference to his fight in Odyssey i think
1:19 possibly a reference to SSBU's up special sinxe it has the same function (he moves faster here tho)
3:15 Spike's ball (comes out above their head with similar trajectory)
Btw the teleporting thing is a reference to super Mario galaxy where he could do that
lol i like how the final smash (but RoA) just has bowser go big smash ultimate style
1 thing you should know wehn there are 2+ King bowsers at the same time if 1 has the giga form activated or is in the process of activating the others can't use it, probablbecause they would otherwise likely overlap & crash the game

Speedrunner Marios tries to slap Bowser and fails epicly(?)
Kirby also has a chance to get bowser’s fire shot.🤯🤯
Bowser the iron giant of rivals of aether
The koopalings and I have taken over the mushroom kingdon
the fact they chose Mortan and none of the other koopalings is really funny
Yeah, I was running out of alt slots and figured he was the most distinct one, lmao.
Referenced skylanders bowser, best bowser in rivals automatically.
Transparency is a bug with ronald’s code
Definitely my favorite character mod in Rivals. Just remember, Giga Bowser has unique SPECIAL moves.
What bowser would be like if he unlocked 100% of his power. Instead of going ez on mario
Btw, I’m not sure Linklight noticed, but when his match against speedrunner Mario started, bowser said “Mario”
8:02 BOWSER JUST SAID SOMETHING!
Hey did you know when Bowser fight A Mario Bowser as a new song victory and is doing more damage
The up b is a Mario galaxy reference I think
The teleport is also a Mario Galaxy reference, when you beat his 1st and 2nd fights he would teleport away like that
brocoli bowser
‘BIG BOY BOWSER IS TO OP’
Wait, a Bowser ditto is possible now? (Flashbacks from Alpharad's video)
That’s a nice game with Bowser on it
Bowser be like: ima break game
pretty sure his down taunt does damage
Sans vs Bowser seems cool
so much references

0:16 sorry but someone gotta do it...
That's what she said.
I love how most of the attacks are based off of the Mario and Luigi game series
In case you were wondering, the teleportation move is from the final bowser fight in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Bro this kinda nostalgic
Hell yeah boswer
You put up artwork for a different mario and luigi game for the superstar saga skin
