In case you didn't know, the masterpiece created by Nino Rota was inspired by a traditional Sicilian song called "Brucia la terra". I strongly recommend to listen to the original song after this beautiful rendition❤️
This is false. “Brucia la terra” is just the Sicilian adaptation of this song. Both the Italian (parla piu piano) and the Sicilian (brucia la terra) are adaptations of the same theme composed by Nino Rota. The original lyrics were English, as in “Speak Softly Love”. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Theme_from_The_Godfather lists all the adaptations in the order they were composed. Brucia la terra is only a “traditional song” in the Godfather universe. It didn’t exist before the film.

Άκουσα το κομμάτι και λάτρεψα την διασκευή. Και μετά βλέπω πως το συγκρότημα είναι ελληνικό. Νόμιζα πως ήταν ορχηστρικό και ήμουν καλά με αυτό, αχ αυτή η είσοδος με το βιολί...και μετά αλλάζει και γίνεται swing, άρχισα να το σιγομουρμουρίζω και μετά μπαίνει η φωνή...! Τέλεια δουλειά, ολοκληρωμένη και με πολύ σεβασμό στο αρχικό. Μπράβο παιδιά καταπληκτική δουλειά, keep going.
Years ago i've heard this song and i really liked,and the good think is in 2022 i found it again and on spotify is one of the songs that goes on repeat ! Only i colud say that this song makes me feel better, everytime !👍👏👏👏
