Hey Philip! That used to be me in Year 7 too! Just made new programs and then immediately discontinued them within 2 weeks! ;) EDIT: I also go over the top WAY too often... :)
Nice work! It's overwhelming obvious that you were enthusiastic at the time of developing these, due to the board horizon of styles. Always nice to see ;)
Very interesting! I wanted to see the programs you showed on the history of osfirsttimer and well... I finally saw them! The phone simulator is similar to a test program I made a few moths ago but you just call a number and if it's a number I programmed, someone picked up and said something I recorded and if it isn't you get a voice saying "this number is not currently available". Only added a couple numbers but I still have it saved so I might continue it :P
OSFT Historic VLogs So you really thought I didn't watch the whole video? ;D BTW, the File Viewer Icon from the folder with the upcoming apps reminded me of your old Windows ME BlueScream prank ;P
The bluescreen prank actually is just a modified version of the fake file viewer, I just cut out the file viewer bit. It's an even better prank if you include the file viewer ;)
Histacom was 2010, ShiftOS 2014+... I don't know what you're talking about? (And yes... Histacom was my first Visual Basic project right after hello world believe it or not. It was a great way to learn to code)
Thanks for inspiring me. I’m building my own collection of somewhat useless programs in C#. So far, I have two. One that makes the screen look like it is melting and a bouncy ball that you can move with your mouse.
Lol i used the visual sound on a pc i have running Vista which is a Compaq SR5228UK and the beeping came out of the motherboard's speaker rather than the monitor speakers as i have the aux cord
I was repeatedly getting virus alerts when trying to download the apps, and every time I tried to open the "Mitosis" application, there would be another virus alert, then it would automatically delete it.
A notification said that Windows Defender Antivirus detected that there was some sort of Trojan virus called "Trojan:Win32/Occamy.C". Also, when I downloaded all of the apps, it detected another Trojan virus called "Trojan:HTML/Phish".
Mitosis has been reported as a virus due to the way it spreads uncontrollably all over your screen. In effect, if you don't know to close it with task manager, then it technically is scareware. None of these files are really damaging to your computer or files though. They are all just for visual effect :)
Wait wait wait, that makes no sense. Last time I checked, Microsoft David wasn't in the Australian version of Windows 10. Did you happen to download the US Language Pack?
Philip, when i try to download this using Internet Download Manager, Windows Defender Stops It Saying You File Contains Trojan:HTML/Phish. Is this A false positive?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitosis Mitosis is that application at the beginning with all those ball/cell things that keep dividing. It simulates the real life process of Mitosis in which cells grow and divide to make more of themselves. It is not based off any other computer program if that's what you're asking, it's a one of a kind program I made myself :)
A part of me wants to implement archive files into ShiftOS and some way of uploading them so I can take these applications and get them working in kernel coherence and distribute them inside ShiftOS. xD And another part of me is about to archive this package on my site so people can download it even after Sendspace decides to kill it (like it did with 99% of the ShiftOS downloads.)
The same way I did in the video. There is also a secret command you can do that allows you to click on each virus and press a button on the keyboard to kill it, but I don't remember it anymore as that was 6 years ago.
Be warned when download the Apps pack. Mitosis 0.6.exe contains Trojan:Win32/Occamy.C, this program is dangerous and it executes commands from an attacker. Just a heads up. :)

Really interesting! Thank you a LOT for making them availivble for download in the description
No problem, another video with the next set of apps will come early next month.
OSFT Historic VLogs So you really thought I didn't watch the whole video? ;D
BTW, the File Viewer Icon from the folder with the upcoming apps reminded me of your old Windows ME BlueScream prank ;P
The bluescreen prank actually is just a modified version of the fake file viewer, I just cut out the file viewer bit. It's an even better prank if you include the file viewer ;)
What a horrible emergency service! I'd fear for my life if I dialled 000 and got that... ;)
Lol I made that up on the spot, when I watched the video afterwards I laughed out loud at what I said.
That Mitosis-program would be an awesome screensaver actually. I wish you could turn it into one ;)
haha, from a virus to a screensaver. Next thing you know, people will be turning out of control popup advertisements into screensavers
OSFT Historic VLogs Pop-up ads as screensavers would be a nightmare, I hope that that will never happen in future :)
7:24 I literally screamed out in pain and jumped back from my computer... Thanks Philip... that hurt... :(
Sorry, my 2010 self apologizes to you ;)
OSFT Historic VLogs I go back to 2010 to say "No problem" to your past self. ;)
Sadly the time machine application I made doesn't have a backwards mode as you can see, so that's not possible sorry.
OSFT Historic VLogs Oh... Well, at least your future self knows that I don't mind now ;)
The bouncing ball reminds me of the old KDE Plasma... Sadly it was removed... :(
I remember that from Diana trying out Kubuntu.
@@OSFTHistoricVLogs Hey OSFT VLogs! Your best! I am gonna give you a shout out on my Windows7! Channel
I know what I'm voting for in 2011/2 of Gaming Through the Ages! ;)
Histacom was 2010, ShiftOS 2014+... I don't know what you're talking about? (And yes... Histacom was my first Visual Basic project right after hello world believe it or not. It was a great way to learn to code)
OSFT Historic VLogs Yes... I shall vote Histacom and Chrono Machine! Count my vote now! ;)
Not Chrono Machine, You've seen it all lol! It really didn't go far at all.
OSFT Historic VLogs Well then hurry up and make another adventure game so we can all vote for t! ;)
Thanks for inspiring me. I’m building my own collection of somewhat useless programs in C#. So far, I have two. One that makes the screen look like it is melting and a bouncy ball that you can move with your mouse.
I saw my birthday in the time machine! :D
I can already see a bunch of people predicting the end of the world based on the time and date I ended up stopping the time machine on at the end.
Same pal
OSFT Historic VLogs you predicted covid :p
@@OSFTHistoricVLogs I think you predicted it.
@@OSFTHistoricVLogs The end of the world is June 26th 2020, wait, hold on, no!
The Mitosis was flagged as a virus by my antivirus lol
Well it is a virus
Pat P it’s not harmful tho
It's just a scareware lol not a malware
Lol i used the visual sound on a pc i have running Vista which is a Compaq SR5228UK and the beeping came out of the motherboard's speaker rather than the monitor speakers as i have the aux cord
Chrono Machine should be called Coronavirus Simulator, because you get to walk around and interact with society without getting sick.
Note to self; Check phone notifications EVEN IF YOU CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO BECAUSE YOUR TRYING TO SLEEP WHEN YOUR ALARM HAS ALREADY WENT OFF.

@OSFT Historic VLogs, thanks.
@@OSFTHistoricVLogs the download links from part 1 and 2 don't work
Mitosis doesn't look smooth because you're recording in 50fps. Why not 60?
I HAVE POWDER GAME I HAVE POWDER GAME!!!
Wait...That app uses Microsoft Hazel?
Wait wait wait, that makes no sense. Last time I checked, Microsoft David wasn't in the Australian version of Windows 10. Did you happen to download the US Language Pack?
Philip, when i try to download this using Internet Download Manager, Windows Defender Stops It Saying You File Contains Trojan:HTML/Phish. Is this A false positive?
It is. It's because they are from a Debug folder.
At my school task manager is blocked so what do I do if I run mitosis
Restart the computer.
click on a cell and press alt and f4
Pixel physics reminds me of a flash game called Sugar. And what is mitosis
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitosis Mitosis is that application at the beginning with all those ball/cell things that keep dividing. OSFT Historic VLogs I knew it wasn't based off of the application you made but thanks.
you mean Sugar Sugar? its on Cool Math and I play it at school sometimes.

How did you make a program
Happy lunar new year :)

31:25 It is june 26th 2020 XD but it's not 1.01pm

This video has these apps, the next video will have the next set of apps to download :)
OSFT Historic VLogs cool :D
OSFT Historic VLogs Oh, whoops. Stupid me, didn't look in description XD
I tried to download the applications but it didn't work. try another link
It is because whatever browser you're using is blocking the PopUp
how do i stop the mitosis program.
The same way I did in the video. There is also a secret command you can do that allows you to click on each virus and press a button on the keyboard to kill it, but I don't remember it anymore as that was 6 years ago.
OSFT Historic VLogs what if it got so big that the task manager wont work.
Alt f4
So the source codes are patreon only?
I find your applications pretty interesting! I cant even build a simple house in Roblox studio and you can code and program xD
