Section 107 of the Copyright Act provides the statutory framework for determining whether something is a fair use and identifies certain types of uses-such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research-as examples of activities that may qualify as fair use. Section 107 calls for consideration of the following four factors in evaluating a question of fair use:

I bought as a child as I started to wirk on farms on summers and delivering newspapers and other stuff, but I got enough money to buy in around 1982 my first CD player and one of my first CD's was Roxy Music's Avalon album. I never got money from my parents to anything, so had to actually work to have anything by myself as a child. At that time only one man had a Philips CD player from those we knew and then me, a child. I took me about four months to get that CD-player, but it was worth it.

One of my favorite bands from the 70's/80's. Bryan Ferry (lead singer) has also recorded lots of solo albums. Slave to Love is one of his to check out. Also, if you want a couple more of Roxy Music's stuff, there's Love Is the Drug and Avalon.

"It was fun for a while \ There was no way of knowing" -- This song was the lead single from Roxy Music's last album, so perhaps it reflects their feelings about the end of the band. I bought this album on cassette when it was brand new and again on compact disc ten years later. "The Main Thing" is another bomb track from that album.

This song is very ZEN, both the sound and the words "More than this , there's is nothing," This is it , this moment is the only place you are and can be.😉☯☮

The Avalon album/CD was a key "go to" seduction soundtrack in the 80s. More Than This is simply one of the most beautiful songs ever made. Cheers

I had the chance to see Roxy Music back in 2001 when the band reformed. It was a wonderful night that I will always remember. The background vocals on this song are performed by Fonzi Thornton and he adds depth to this song. I recommend that you purchase the entire album Avalon because it is amazing.

Greetings again eh!! Well, this is amazing, lately you've been rummaging through my record catalogue!! First the Ramones, Blue Oyster Cult and Roxy Music, and of course Bruce. I've seen all these bands live many times and all have uniquely different shows. Roxy Music, two shows, and was at the Bryan Ferry show if Detroit. Roxy Music, mostly the Bryan Ferry show, great music, innovative and melodic, always a good for a listen. Rock On..................when you hitting up my Emerson Lake and Palmer section?? :)

Alos, this video was Roxy Music's snub to the "New" music video market. Bands had to make videos and my perception is that Brian Ferry (singer) made it into a farce. You'll notice none of the music matches the video except his vocals. The band has always been about breaking social norms and this video is part of that. But what a great song!!
