The best one in the world in explaining the Filmora and Da Vinci program without a competitor. I wish you success and progress always, my dear friend. Thank you for the information I learned from you.
Ive been struggling to understand this for a while, this eas literally the perfect explanation - totally got it first time - THANK YOU! You always give such great explanations!
Fantastic tip. I had no idea and have used third party graphics for this. But they never track perfectly because they're a fixed amount of time and shortening them only cuts off the effect. This is another example of why your quick tutorials are the best.
I love how much this is like making music. Once I was so frustrated thinking “why isn’t there automation in video editing software?!” And then I learned about keyframes. Awesome video
Yes, Fairlight isn’t quite as good as some of the top-of-the-line DAW’s. Personally for audio production, I like using Reaper. But Fairlight is pretty decent. It has some extensive features and supports VST plugins so a lot of the day-to-day audio editing stuff is really easy to do right in the software
Very clear, very helpful. Have used this tip to "type on" texts in my fishing videos. A question if I may. I have seen texts that appear to fly on from left to right, and then fly back off from right to left. I suspect there is preset effect for that somewhere, perhaps among the many Fusion Titles, but I can't seem to find it.
I just quit premiere pro and moved to davinci and in less then 24 hours i could do a better edit then in premiere, and interface is much friendly and don't need to use 2-3-4+ screens, now i try looking each day for more tips and tricks,i subbed to you and i will check daily something from your channel, keep up man!
Great video, man i have finally made the jump to resolve and this is some things i could not do in Filmora im happy with Resolve that im going to purchase the fill version.
To define the change. That’s how keyframing works. They’re a set of instructions. If you only had one, it would be like saying, “Start with no text on screen…” and then not telling it what to do next
@@Daniel_Batal but you should not have to add a second keyframe - once you add the first one and move the playhead and change values the second on should be added automatically- hence my question
DaVinci Resolve supports true typeface font files, such as TTF files. If you find a font you like that is only available in ODF format, you can try converting it to TTF using an online converter
The only thing I don’t like about this feature is the keyframes aren’t visible like they are everywhere else, David. So it’s a little tricky to get the speed dialed in perfectly. You can’t just click and drag the keyframes
Good question. There are ways to do that manually but there might be an animation preset in Resolve. Let me look and if I find it, I'll make a Short about it.
Hey Daniel, we are trying to make a new intro for our podcast where we animate a series of previous clips from our weekly show that still highlights our host in a fun and engaging way. Could you make a general tutorial for something like this? This might be a strange source of inspiration, but I'm thinking about Theo Von's intro for his TPW podcast
Noted. FYI, key framing is the same, regardless of what it’s applied to. Once you understand the principles of keyframing, it doesn’t matter if your keyframing motion, audio levels, text wipes, color grading, etc. Definitely take the time to become very comfortable and familiar with simple key framing functionality. This should help --> ruclips.net/video/p1KRLgHw8LY/видео.htmlsi=BDlrUCoCLU36mUJB
@Daniel_Batal I agree some of them have an intro that would be 5 mins in, and nothing really happened yet, or they take 20 mins to explain something that could be explained in a minute
quick, simple, to the point, EXACTLY what I was looking for, subscribed!
Thanks! Welcome aboard

Resolve even has actual automation and flying faders in Fairlight!
So many cool features
@@Daniel_Batal yeah that’s the audio part? Haven’t used it yet I do everything in logic and then move it over. But fairligh AI tools seem amazing

One of the best ever "how to" channels on RUclips. Did you do this whole vid in DVR?
I did! I use Resolve for all of my RUclips videos
Brilliant. I was actually looking for something, which will show a hand or a pen writing these alphabets, but its OK. This one is good enough for me.
Dude living these noobs shorts on Davinci!!! So helpful!!!
Glad you like them!
Thank you so much man I've been looking on how to do this for so long thank you 🙏🙏

Solid choice
Why did you add a second key frame ?
To define the change. That’s how keyframing works. They’re a set of instructions.
If you only had one, it would be like saying, “Start with no text on screen…” and then not telling it what to do next
@@Daniel_Batal but you should not have to add a second keyframe - once you add the first one and move the playhead and change values the second on should be added automatically- hence my question
@@Daniel_Batal You added a second keyframe - it is totally unnecessary after you add the first. I understand how keyframes work.
wow that simple. Fabulous 😊
Super simple ☮️
Awesome tutorial!
Thank you!
Thanks Daniel ✌️
Wow thank you as usual 👍👍👍
I was looking for this!!! Found it hahaa thank you
No problem!!
Brilliant! ❤
These bite sized chunks of tutotrials make me learn so much every now and then. You are doing an awesome job. ❤
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks
Is there a way to do this by individual word?
That’s exactly what it’s doing. Word by word… if you slow the reveal speed down that will become more apparent.
I'm going to have to experiment with this one.
I've been wondering how people do that.
😅 I'm getting bored with static text overlays.😅
Style 😂 style that introduction never gets old😂😂
😁
Legend love this thank you
Nice tutorial.
How to use fonts with alternate characters (like with swashes...,) in davinci resolve ?
DaVinci Resolve supports true typeface font files, such as TTF files.
If you find a font you like that is only available in ODF format, you can try converting it to TTF using an online converter

thats why i love capcut it is waaay simpler it has the animation presets ready always but yeah i understand why people use davinici
CapCut is fantastic for simple edits! If that does what you need, stick with it
Thanks mate!
Absolutely!

Thanks bro 🤜
Any time
Ah that's a great tip! Thanks!
And if you want, you can add a typewriter SFX with it.
Indeed!
So simple 😅. Me working to do it in Fcpx + Motion.
I still love Final Cut Pro (just not as much as Resolve)
perfect brother thanks
You got it ☮️

Nice. Everyday something new
Maybe not every day but I do my best to keep these coming ☮️
Is it possible to do this words for word ? Instead of letter for letter 🤔
Yes. Just keyframe the reveal
Hey, do you know how to make the letters popup 1 by 1? Would help SO much, thanks!
Good question. There are ways to do that manually but there might be an animation preset in Resolve. Let me look and if I find it, I'll make a Short about it.

Hello! Nice video, I have a question: How can i do "Word by Word" titles like your intro without put 10 titles in the timeline?
Use the subtitles/caption feature and enable it at export so they are baked into the video.---> ruclips.net/user/shortsBtcia6PMir8?si=KRagNEQfchWgZrzw

Hmmm…. Not sure I know Theo’s intro.
I’ll have to check it out
How to do the same but only for the word instead of characters , like it writes on word by word
Keyframe the pauses with this feature.
There doesn’t need to be just two keyframes as I showed
@Daniel_Batal a tutorial would be helpful , thank you for the info

I can't find the write on option,is it for premium users if no what must i do to get the features shows up on the inspector.... 🙏
Nope. It’s in the free version. Make sure you’re in the Edit Page and follow the exact steps I showed here using Text Plus
@@Daniel_Batal Got it 😀🙏👍
what is the step if i want to add this effect for multiline
No extra step needed.
If you’re building your multi-line text in a single Text + asset, it’ll expose the text exactly as you would read it
You are awesome there isnt many good guides on davinchi every guide I find is wayy too long and overly repeats themselves
There are a few good tutorial channels out there but a lot of others who overcomplicate things, in my opinion.
@Daniel_Batal I agree some of them have an intro that would be 5 mins in, and nothing really happened yet, or they take 20 mins to explain something that could be explained in a minute
oh YAYYYYYYYYY! Thank YOU!
