Happy Valentine’s Day! Do you have any Valentine’s Day traditions? Every year, we have burgers, fries and milk shakes for dinner as a family on Valentine’s Day. It is a tradition from my family that we have carried on since we had the girls! Let us know how you spent celebrating today!😃
I LOVE that tradition (might have to adopt it)...we just had homemade burgers, fries and shakes in the rig the night before (Valentine's Eve...is that a thing? lol). I was so impressed that we could enjoy fantastic turkey burgers off the Blackstone, handcut fries from the airfryer & chocolate shakes made with our Vitamix. We may roll in 312sqft, but having all my kitchen toys makes for some pretty delicious meals where ever we are. OH, and this video is making me soooo excited for this summer...can't wait for Yellowstone!
I know what you're saying when talking about showing others our wonderful national parks. I'll never get tired of taking friends and family to the rim of the grand canyon for the first time. No amount of photographs or video or film can do it justice, and much of Yellowstone is the same.
Thank you for this video. My husband and I went there in October 2007 for a much needed vacation and he wanted us to hike that trail to the different pots. I was unable to go due to my asthma and emphysema (I could barely breath due to the altitude), but encouraged him to go. I am so glad he went ahead with the hike, he LOVED IT! He was pretty tired (which was very unusual for him). We found out when we returned home that he had stage 3/4 lung cancer. I am so glad he was able to fulfill part of his bucket list. The north end of Yellowstone was closed at the time so we didn't get to see it. I am only telling you this because I am grateful to you for sharing the videos of what I didn't get to see with him, to share that experience with him. And please, always live your life, you never know what will happen tomorrow or next week. Thank you again for sharing!! God Bless and Safe Travels!!
This comment makes me sad and happy at the same time. It makes all the effort filming and editing worth it! You are right , we are not promised tomorrow! That’s one of the main reasons we’re on the road now. Thank you , and God bless you as well!
Hi guys, just wanted to say that you're great and that you should be thankful for such a beautiful family and for living such a dream. Thank you for making my days brighter :)
Yellowstone is an amazing place and you covered some of the best areas. I truly enjoy the way you used Google Earth as your drone footage, when your not allowed to fly.
By far the best rving channel for capturing the beauty that is America. I can't say enough how much I love your photography (stills, motion and drone). You couldn't fly a drone but still brought the overhead views in via Google Earth. I was 5 the only time my family went to Yellowstone and of course i can't remember it but you made me feel I was just there.Yellowstone is at the very top of our bucket list when our RV adventures begin. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Happy Trails.....
You’re being too kind with your compliments, but I’ll take it, thank you😊 I’m glad you were easily able to pick up that that was google and not a drone. I got a bunch of comments and messages saying I shouldn’t really fly a drone in a national park... thanks again, have a great day, I can’t wait for your journey to begin!
Loved your vlog on Yellowstone . Took me back when I was 10 years old that I visited Yellowstone . I’m now 66 years old . Hoping to visit it again some day after Covid has settled down to a safer time . Have enjoyed your channel , especially the ranch time. Keep up the great vlogs. Be safe and God bless you y’all .
I’m happy to hear it brought back memories, these are my favorite comments to read. I hope it settles down soon and you are able to visit. God bless you too!
It’s a good few years since I was last in Yellowstone NP (I’m from England). What a treasure it is. It’s the world’s first, and greatest, National Park. So unique. Hope the Rangers can protect it for future generations to enjoy. One of my favourite areas was Biscuit Basin. The drive in from the south, through Grand Teton and out north, via the Beartooth Scenic highway into Montana, is awesome, and I don’t use that word lightly! Thanks for the video. 😎👍
That’s awesome that you were able to visit from way over there! Most Americans don’t even realize they should make the trip! Funny you should mention Biscuit basin, it’s one of our favorites as well, we went there during our first trip there! Episode 21 I think!
Nice video ! Brought back great memories but we do have 4 videos of Yellowstone online for great souvenirs The overlook is definitely the best place to see the Grand Prismatic Have a nice week H&S 👩❤️👨🌈🇨🇦
Hail is common in the west. Colorado, wyoming anyway 🤷🏻♀️ but the worst hail storm we have ever experienced softball sized in Sturgis South Dakota. Totaled our truck and pop up. Your pictures of Yellowstone are AMAZING!!!!! We frequent the parks ! Every trip is different! Never gets old. I’ve been going since I was 6 yrs as well! So sentimental for me. I actually love the stinky smell 😂
We had the privilege of staying at Old Faithful Inn (old section) and the cabins at Mammoth Hot Springs 18 months ago. Great experience but so, so expensive. The inside of the inn is amazing.
All lodging in the park is outrageously expensive, unfortunately and hard to book. The only affordable option are the Roosevelt Lodge cabins if you can find one. The Old Faithful Inn is something else, had the privilege to spend a night there once when it was still not as pricey.
Such a great video. Thanks for that. I went there when I was about 6 and I still remember it I’m 56 now and it’s still so amazing. Going to go again with my grandson he’s 4 so full circle. 🥰
We have been 7 times my wife went in winter one time. Usually go in September never even had any rain! Just a dusting of snow in morning but nice during day!! Some of the best video we have seen on here keep posting!!
The Inn is soooo incredible and definitely worth a stay!! Sit on the second floor and just watch everyone below. They use the fireplace too! Do it and watch the old faithful from OFI porch sunset or sunrise! Or both!!!! The colors and angle is so magical. I remember when Morning Glory was a magnificent blue. Ya, I’m that old! 😂
I just love your videos and so appreciate you sharing them. The informational bits, the awesome photography and taking us into your joyful family is a gift. Not sure why you don’t have over a 100k subscribers, your channel is one of the best!
Just found your page. Yellowstone is my family's roots. My grandmother was born in Mammoth, my great grandfather was one of the builders, he did all the ironwork in the Inn, including the clock on the fireplace. George Colpitts was his name.
We have not been there yet hopefully next summer. You say the color and beauty can't be captured but you guys do an excellent job of capturing what we haven't seen yet. Keep up the great work with family and photography.
Yellowstone looks absolutely beautiful through a camera lens but I can't imagine what it looks like being there. Love your videos! Safe travels out there.
Yellowstone is such a beautiful place, big bonus to see and get photos of the Bison in among the Geysers. Was hoping not to see boiled Bison on the menu for the evening probably happens sometimes. I stayed in the Lodge as a kid with my parents in the 70's. Hope to take my family to Yellowstone in the next year or two.
That Bison completely made my day, and at first I thought I missed it! I think they are pretty smart , I hope the don’t ever cook themselves 😳 as soon as you can take your family there, and the Tetons ! They are right next to each other😃
Rambling comments...1. Fantastic video! Thanks for reinforcing my (our) desire to get to Yellowstone. Last summer went past (I-80) from Illinois to Portland, OR & back...but no time 😢 to get up there. But it’s on our camping bucket list! 2. Our camper has been hailed on in Wyoming more than ANY other place we’ve been! (& two close calls with tornadoes too!). 3. The lodge...wife wants to stay there too! closest we’ve been is the Wilderness Lodge at Disney World🤣. Well, it was designed based off the Lodge at Yellowstone. Right down to the stone fireplace, and the hot spring inside the lobby that feeds a “mountain” stream which in turn “feeds” the pool. Plus a Geyser out by the pool too. But just NOT the same!🤣🤣🤣. Happy travels to you!
I do hope you can make the time next time for Yellowstone it’s just incredible! That’s interesting about the Disney lodge , I hadn’t heard that . Wyoming definitely has some extreme weather! Oh well, gotta pay to play sometimes 😂
Thank you! We try our best! Morning glory was at the top of our list of things to do this time around since we missed it the first time we were there. People do stupid stuff unfortunately, very little concern, and a complete inability to see beyond them selves or even a few mins into the future...
After hiking around my area in snow covered tundra, a landscape like this covered in snow would be freaky, cool shot of the bison walking where ever he likes.
Seeing the vivid colors up against the white would be amazing! That scene with the steam with the Bison still stands out to me from a lot of shots I’ve taken. It feels very prehistoric...
Just found you guys today, and spent the whole evening watching your old and new video's, and absolutely loving it. Its so nice to watch a family making content in such an informative but natural way, I feel like I'm seeing the USA in a whole new prospective and really appreciate your enthusiasm for the history . I'm also a landscape photographer and spent many years towing a trailer (We call them caravans in the UK! ) around the UK with my teenage daughter. Watching your interactions with your lovely girls evokes happy memories of the many adventures that we still love to remember, and has caused a few smiles too!! looking forward to sticking around and seeing more best wishes.
This is nice to read, this how we hope our videos come across and the feedback you just gave is encouraging. I’m happy to hear you were able to spend time with your daughter as well! Lots more videos to come, happy to know you will be watching, thank you .
Very nice video love it! Beautiful Ol Faithful. Wow the springs get hot. How did that Bisson survive walking in that and not go down or was it not the springs he was on? That was weird with that Bisson. I remember that one video of yours the Bisson licked your truck. No Bisson licking the truck this time that I saw. Your truck didn’t get damaged from hail. Or your home. That’s a good thing. Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s just my sister and I and my mom here for now and we had pizza and wings. Have a great night see you all soon!
We didn’t get any damage to anything, we were completely surprised and thankful! The bison was just walking on the runoff from the spring so it was only “warm” at that point. Pizza and wings sound perfect! We had a great night, thank you!
Definitely on my/our bucket list! Hopefully this year we will get there. Last year was a bust. Btw I love your name and tell people all the time that we will be "finding our someday" soon!!!
This is an awesome video! Great adventure with family and friends. This video was very helpful in planning our trip there this year. Thanks for sharing!
We seen old faithful from the road. Walked into Lone Star geyser. One morning we woke up to some very heavy frost😆 it was mid june. Funny how many elk and bizon tracks are in the boardwalk areas. They obviously have the "do not enter" signs in the wrong place.
@@FindingOurSomeday I worked there the summer of 1998 at OFL and OFSL and was an experience I will never forget and was running and biking all the places you went. I have pictures from the back side of Grand Prismatic Spring before that pathway for the outlook was ever thought of. Mount Washburn is a favorite hike of mine also and did that as a run several times. And if your down in the Tetons. Stop and hike Jenny Lake.
What an amazing experience to have! It’s guys like you that showed the need for over looks like that👍 we were in the Tetons a couple episodes previous to this one. We hiked Jenny lake😃
I’ve lived on a boat for 28 years and have walked down a thousand docks, but I think I want handrails when I’m walking across bubbling geysers 😂 Gorgeous! Hope to visit in the next year or two.
We were last there in August 2018. Brought back so many memories. As you visited all our favs. This must have been and old video as I don't see any masks. Maybe summer of 2019?
That is on our list as well! You used to be able to just ride your own snowmobiles in the park. It’s regulated now... probably because of the same people throwing trash into the springs 😕 seeing white snow up against the vivid colors would be an amazing contrast!
This is a HUGE dream of ours (my son and I) I have been saving for 6 years and hopefully in 2 more we will be able to buy a camper set up... I can not wait.
Love the higher views. What size camera lens were you using? When you take your camera do you bring several lenses? I have a backpack for my camera stuff, and know carrying all the equipment can be a bit much when your doing the footage/picture, and enjoy the sites at the same time. How neat to see a bison crossing the board walk while people were still on it.
We have a canon M6 so the whole system is small . I generally have our small camera bag on me and I have the M6 and mostly the 11-22 , then the 18-150, and a few other lenses. Also in the bag are the GoPro max, GoPro 8, and a DJI Mavic air2 , and spare batteries for everything. That’s what I like about the M system it’s small... there are better cameras, but smaller wins for now.
I would never be confused if someone walked in front of a shot in a national park😂 If your referring to the end, seeing old faithfull from the ground that’s our friend talking to his daughter.
Hope to see Yellowstone someday. Your videos are a great way to hold me until in can get there. I saw your portable solar, what model do you use? How many batteries do you charge?
The one you saw isn’t very good the other one I have is the Jackery 100 watt solor panel . We have two big batteries totaling 230 amp hrs they are cheap too , right at Walmart (everstart 29dc )
Rangers told us the garbage is mostly from campers leaving trash bags out, animals tearing into the bags, winds carry the trash off and it makes it's way into the systems through various pathways.
Hey Corey, It's wonderful to see how many miles & places you've hauled your Reflection trailer. What weight distribution hitch are you using. I'm assuming it has worked very well for you.
I had/have a Husky centerline, I recently got a Curt trutrack that I have been testing , so far it seems great , we just haven’t towed much with it yet.
Great video guys.. again. The only question I can think of is, How do they get out in the hot muck to build those walkways? That would be a great video.. See ya
Oh man, sorry to hear, a brand new truck too! The way it was sounding I really thought our truck was going to get wrecked. Seems silly compared to what happened to you!
Beautiful. It's been years since I've been to Yellowstone and i want to go back. Your video will help me during my wait. I live the Videography and i know Cory is a professional Photographer. What equipment does he use for his landscapes ect..... I caint wait to see where yall go next
Glad we could hold you over for a bit! Nothing crazy for equipment! This was shot with a canon M6 and 11-22 lens ! Thanks for watching, next video on Sunday😃
Thanks for sharing another amazing video. It’s pretty nice watching videos pre Covid and remembering the good days! Just curious if you guys still have the green LL Bean back pack? Would you recommend?
Appreciate the feedback about the delayed videos, that’s encouraging! We have two of them still, the green one and a blue one. They are LL bream “stowaway” backpacks. They can hold a lot but fold down super compact when not in use. We use them on every hike.
Cool . thanks for great sharing. Could you let me know,Which entrance is closest to old faithful geyser and which hotel out side Of park and town close to that area Please. and how long to drive to that faithful geyser area from the entrance.I really appreciate the video you share . that 's great .
The way it used to be, and may still be,is, you can drive in from the North entrance at Gardiner MT. to Mammoth Hot Springs area where Fort Yellowstone is. Then any thing else is done by snowmobile or Track vehicle coach excursions such as down to Yellowstone Lodge. You would want to call and see what the winter setup is anymore as this was back in 2006.

@@FindingOurSomeday Glad you had a great night and glad for the bison where they were on the warm spot. Gave a great week and see you soon!
Definitely on my/our bucket list! Hopefully this year we will get there. Last year was a bust. Btw I love your name and tell people all the time that we will be "finding our someday" soon!!!
Thank you ! I hope you find your someday , very soon! This is going to be a good year!
Miss that place, we have so much more to explore there as a family.....for sure need to hit Morning Glory next time.
There’s an incredible amount of places to explore in that park😳
OMG, guys! Mind blown. We never wanted to go because of all the humans, but you may have just changed our minds. Loved it!
Don’t let the humans scare you, go out early and you will see less of them 🙈😂
Brings back wonderful memories of our trip there last summer.
Happy to bring back memories! It must not have been too much longer after we met you that you were there!
Thank you for sharing your adventures! Hopefully one day we will be able to do some of our own!
You’re welcome, I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos in the meantime!
This is an awesome video! Great adventure with family and friends. This video was very helpful in planning our trip there this year. Thanks for sharing!
awesome places!!
We’re fortunate to have been able to visit.
We seen old faithful from the road. Walked into Lone Star geyser.
One morning we woke up to some very heavy frost😆 it was mid june.
Funny how many elk and bizon tracks are in the boardwalk areas. They obviously have the "do not enter" signs in the wrong place.
Seriously, can’t these animals read 🙄😂
Thanks we were there last July!
Hopefully you didn’t get any hail, probably not, it only hails on us 😂
It makes me miss it so much and can't wait to go back.
Yellowstone has that affect on you ! We can’t wait to go back either!
Science IS so AWESOME! love today's video!!
Thank you guys! Science 🤓😎
Love Yellowstone! Been there twice in 3 years! Would go Back again this year if able too. No other place to go see
I don’t think Yellowstone could ever get old!
I’ve lived on a boat for 28 years and have walked down a thousand docks, but I think I want handrails when I’m walking across bubbling geysers 😂 Gorgeous! Hope to visit in the next year or two.
Not as sketchy as it seems , plus these walkways don’t move😃
Glad you made it through the hell storm okay.
Us too, we though for sure it was going to do damage!
We were last there in August 2018. Brought back so many memories. As you visited all our favs. This must have been and old video as I don't see any masks. Maybe summer of 2019?
Yes this is 2019 BC 😃 glad we could bring back some memories, thanks for watching!
Such an Awesome place we love it there, great videos
Thank you! Have an awesome night!
this episode was AWESOME! can't wait until we get our RV and visit there next summer
Thank you! You will love it!!
I was there in 1962 and 1966. I need to go back.
I agree, you definitely need to go back, I wish I was able to experience it in the 60s!
You guys have the most awesome videos and travels 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
That’s pretty nice to read , thank you🙏
Beautiful park.Thank you.
Love your videos. I want to try to visit Yellowstone in the winter and take a snowmobile tour of it.
That is on our list as well! You used to be able to just ride your own snowmobiles in the park. It’s regulated now... probably because of the same people throwing trash into the springs 😕 seeing white snow up against the vivid colors would be an amazing contrast!
Great shots and a great family. Thank you.
Thank you , very kind 🙏
Beautiful! Thanks for all the information
You’re welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
This is a HUGE dream of ours (my son and I) I have been saving for 6 years and hopefully in 2 more we will be able to buy a camper set up... I can not wait.
Cash is king! Amazing! I hope it’s only one more year! You got this💪
Love the higher views.
The bison shots were with the 18-150
@@FindingOurSomeday Cool! I recently picked up a lens for shooting wildlife from a distance, can't wait to use it.
@@FindingOurSomeday I agree, smaller is better. Less to carry, especially when you're trying to sight see. Thanks for sharing😊
Unbelievable sights. Can’t wait to ride the bike out there this spring.
Get that thing polished up and enjoy the ride 😎
I just discovered your channel. Y’all have one of the best channels on. My wife and i are fixing to start traveling. We have just retired. Take care
I’m glad you found us! That’s a pretty good compliment! Thank you! Don’t overthink it, start moving😎 congratulations on the retirement!
Awesome. Like how you stop directly in the middle of a cross walk, then can't understand why people are walking through your shot. Lol.
Wow! Wonderful video. You guys are amazing. So glad I can ride along on your journey. :)
You’re amazing, thanks for the support, thanks for coming along!
I love Wyoming. Have you ever been to the grand tetons? They have a surprise lake with waterfall and its worth the hike. Nice video.
We have been to the Tetons a couple times, another one of our favorites 😃 the videos previous to Yellowstone are actually in the Tetons.
Awesome! Love your editing!
Appreciate the feedback, thank you ! Have a great night!
Thank you so much, it was grand.
So glad you enjoyed it, have a great day!
Rangers told us the garbage is mostly from campers leaving trash bags out, animals tearing into the bags, winds carry the trash off and it makes it's way into the systems through various pathways.
That does make sense as contributor and I thought the same thing, but that’s not what theu told us or what all the plaques say.
Hey, happy holidays from New Jersey! - Beautiful park... Excellent journey guys.. thanks for bringing us with you.
Hey, thank you! Glad to have you 😃
Hey Corey, It's wonderful to see how many miles & places you've hauled your Reflection trailer. What weight distribution hitch are you using. I'm assuming it has worked very well for you.
I had/have a Husky centerline, I recently got a Curt trutrack that I have been testing , so far it seems great , we just haven’t towed much with it yet.
@@FindingOurSomeday I have not heard of that brand. I will see how you like it late summer or fall. Thank you
I really like it, it's a beautiful place !!!
It’s one of our family’s favorites😃
Great video guys.. again.
The only question I can think of is, How do they get out in the hot muck to build those walkways? That would be a great video..
See ya
I’m not sure, but I’m sure it was clever 😃 I m sure there is a video about it, you actually have me curious now! Thanks for watching🙏
You are so lucky. I got $13k in hail damage on my GMC Sierra this summer. I was only 3 payments in! Thankfully, that is what insurance is for!
Oh man, sorry to hear, a brand new truck too! The way it was sounding I really thought our truck was going to get wrecked. Seems silly compared to what happened to you!
absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the video.
Thank you!!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Travel safe.
You’re welcome! Thank you 🙏
Great fun. Many thanks.
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it 😃
Thanks for sharing another amazing video.
Look at the town at the west entrance of Yellowstone
We'd like to go in winter sometime.
Us too!
