Hey Mark, right on with asserting your stance as a lefty player- I get so eternally sick of noobs on Reddit asking about it and everyone telling them that they need to buy a right-handed guitar and play right-handed, etc.- just... "No." I play left-handed because I am left-handed. It's no different than people telling you to hold a fork right-handed, or some Draconian schoolteacher from a hundred years ago making a student hold a pencil right-handed. And nowadays, there're so many more options than there were when we were kids... anyhoo, good on ya and I stand with you in solidarity! Woot!
During the 5150 tour and ou812 tour Ed didn't use the phaser or flanger even though they did do songs that had them in it from the Dave era. He did have a wah on the ou812 tour for cabo wabo. On the 91 tour and from there on out he brought back the phaser, flanger and boss octave. Edit i forgot i already said something about this lol
A good honest reputable amplifier manufacturer like Dave should never EVER get involved with guitar guru Network… Biggest scam artists on reverb… Absolutely pathetic

However I would assert that a case could be made for the playing position being an ‘unnatural’ and awkward thing to do at first with regardless of which hand you favour. I have heard Steve Morse and Al DiMeola (they are both lefties) say they think it’s an advantage having one’s dominant hand on the neck where the gymnastics happen.
Hello, missed this live. Id like to ask about speakers. I have Marshall 1936 cab with G12T-75s and replica of Marshall 1930 10watt Lead amp. It sounds good together, but kinda lacks character from speakers. Tried Greenbacks and was not very happy with sizzle on top end (like baaad vinatage sizzle). Cant afford Alnico Blues. From what you mentioned Redbacks might be good option, or any other idea?. Im shooting for Claptons Cream era sound or something in that ballpark with classic Gibson guitars.

I'm not a lefty, so maybe I don't understand. But I'd encourage anyone to start out righty. Way more opportunities. Guitar is a two handed instrument anyway. And it's hard to say if your "writing hand" should be your picking hand or your fretting hand. Maybe lefties play better on a righty instrument! Who knows? Besides, they aren't making opposite handed oboes, pianos, accordions, violins, flutes, etc. Save yourself the grief. Just my $.02. Love the channel!!!

Then I got a tracking number saying it was delivered a week ago, before it even shipped. Then, the web of lies.. "Oh, sorry, that was a mistake". "Actually, I can't to my warehouse for a couple days". Then "Oh I forgot, we sold it", though listed "2 in stock". Then said with his close personal relationship with Friedman, they will drop everything and build me one, but won't ship for 2 weeks. Lies. I got a refund, (after he refused at first, and 2 weeks of back and forth insults AT ME. He takes peoples' money, and uses it for cash flow, then devises a scheme to figure out how to deliver, while his lies buys him time. Yeah, that's the definition of a scammer.

So I am going with the Majority of Reviews of his Shop, not the unproven without source material to support their claims few. Everyone has a Bad Day, sometimes a Bad Week. You obviously didn't get want you wanted from him, but he didn't rip you off. He didn't Burn you, as you stated. It was just a deal gone bad. Yes I have bought a few item's from him & he reached out to me to say their had been a mistake and that they didn't have in stock at the moment what was sold to me. The Guitar Guru seller is a scam seller. Google they're history and other buyer have the same issue of "losing shipment".
