Musicbed cool 👍🏻 I figured that, but wasn’t sure. Also, can you guys lower the price on non-profit organizations? $2159 is a lot and even the stand alone prices for songs are way too much which is why I could never use musicbed for the company I work for. My company can’t afford to be paying that much money for songs when they have much higher priorities. We’re not advertising, we just do videos for the company like core values, history, safety videos, etc... Musicbed and matt hi, can i use the music as many times as i want? For i subscribed then i want to use the music for wedding, can i use it again on the next wedding video? Thanks coz im confused with your FAQ in the website..
@Musicbed - If I use 2 songs from Musicbed in a single video, how many sync ID will be generated. And what if I have to use the same songs in another video. I have to download all the songs again with different sync IDs?
🔴WARNING: As stated in the video, you still will get copyright claims from RUclips and you have to show every single time you have a license for the song. Every time you use a song you are paying for... WHAT?? So you can't monetize your video until they clear the copyright claim. Not only that, but the artist who created the song can decide not to remove the copyright claim and monetize your video with the song you already paid for. Musicbed is fraud.
AND if you cancel your subscription you have to go back and remove the video from RUclips. "Any videos published using the music downloaded from the subscription plan should be taken down from anywhere published. -The appropriate single song licenses should be purchased to cover any videos that are to remain published once the plan has been canceled."

Matt if you'll cancel this subscription within 30days there will be no charge? Will I be able to keep and monetize the video uploaded during this time period?? I just need to talk to them during this period because their offer of 50$ per month only for youtube is a little bit to much for my channel... So just want to make sure I can cancel without a costs and if I'll not gonna have to take down those videos I'll use the music for
Good stuff Matt, as always. I’ve been using TMB since it came out and love it. Immediately signed up for the membership! Wish I would have seen your link so I could help you out. Thanks again for all the awesome content! 👍🏻🎉
So, how is the subscription? Is there plenty of great music included to make it worth it? I don't want to drop down $720 just to find out the "free" selection is about the same as Soundstripe and Artlist. I would love your input since you have the subscription.
All seems great. They have a good selection. Couple things that turned me off was the 12 month commitment and the giant price fluctuations based on projects outside of weddings. If they offer a month to month option, they should allow you to cancel as well.
They're in a money making business, not a money-losing. When I posted about their pricing on a facebook group, the first thing most people said was "can't wait to buy it for a month and download every song then cancel it". That would be a horrible business model.
i was trying to find the $9.99 plan for youtube creator plan....but see it starts from $19.99 per month even for less than 5000 subscribers. Is it true?
Awesome! I’ve used Musicbed a bit. Been using Epidemic sound lately. No copyright claims at all. They must not be logged with RUclips content ID at all. At that price I can afford both! I do like Epidemic’s stems for each track where you can split out the drums, melody, bass etc. makes it easy to create fill music. Thanks for the video!
I was thinking of doing the same thing with both since I will just be starting out. Thanks for sharing the info I was looking for about any trouble with Epidemic Sound and RUclips content ID claims! Having both for fairly cheap seems like the way to go for me.
Good point. Epidemic does not register their music because they buy it from artists. We allow our musicians to maintain their rights, and register their music with the industry. Since we now have SyncID, RUclips claims are cleared in a matter of minutes :)
Holy moly, I know a lot of people with songs on this service ... This seems like a phenomenal deal. Thanks for the heads up! I might have to go for this ...
For whatever uses you're needing, pick the highest tier, and the rest is covered under it. For example, if you need corporate, purchase a business plan and your wedding films will be covered as well.

I really wish they would fix the way they price for employees as a non-profit company, like mine can't afford/can't justify spending $2,000. Could we afford it? Technically yes. Is it affordable in the budget? Not really. Can a company like mine justify paying this much? No. This is great for youtubers though, which I'm excited about.

I just finished a year on youtube with epidemic and I feel I have used up everything. I need to decide now in between artlist or musicbed. I mostly use electronic, soft house, deep house, beats. Not sure, if Musicbed has a good catalogue for those categories.
WOW that is CHEAP!! Literally the only question I would have is do we actually have access to the ENTIRE music catalogue? I know they have a few premiere artists who I would assume would opt out of this. If we did have access to it all, I would sign up immediately.

a Couple of thoughts. Whats stopping me as a wedding filmmaker choosing the RUclips option? Also if I chose the Wedding option and my clients choose to upload the video then what will happen to the RUclips flagging system?
So if I am making videos for OTHER people that they can put on THEIR youtube / Facebook, I cant get it for 9$month? I have to pay 99 a month? I was hoping this would be affordable.
The pricing is not good for a youtube content creators. For weddings etc it looks good pricing wise. I use Epidemicsound. I don`t have to deal with any copyright claims. This musicbed SyncID looks very idiotic.. Having a pricing structure for RUclips Subscribers is also stupid.. Most views on videos comes from NON SUBSCRIBERS. So that is a bummer. So for me, This is not going to cut it.
I’m confused by your comment. You aren’t being charged for views. You’re charged by your number of subscribers. So you would be saving money if non-subscribers watched your video.
Hello Matt/Music bed, I was trying to get a single song license for my youtube channel. But for single song license it is showing monetization not included. For avoiding copyright claim and monetize a video we get license. So monetization should be included in single song license. Right? So if find need to get a single song license with monetization I need take annual subscription(monthly subscription if cancelled - we need to pay annual charge) for 249 dollar?
Not all artists are part of the membership. Artists such as Ben Rector who is popular for a lot of wedding songs. Also, artists such as Tim Halperin (also very popular wedding music) who is listed on the roster.. only includes some of his songs as part of the membership and not all.
Some songs are still in process being added, and we will be adding existing and new artists to Membership daily! If for whatever reason a song you need isn't included, you also get 25% off one-use licenses in addition to your Membership.
Will ALL songs for artists in the roster eventually be added? What about when rostered artists add new songs to the platform? Right now LOTS of songs for some artists are not included. It feels like the membership is for selling us old songs, and new songs still require individual purchase. The sales pitch make it sound like we'll have access to everything as long as they are in the roster. Please clarify?
Hey, great questions. Membership is by no means meant for old songs and artists. Tony Anderson just launched his latest album and every song is in Membership. There are tons of brand new artist we just launched with Membership and we are adding artists and songs every single day.
What happens when you purchase the plan for under 5000 subs but then you reach 5001? Does it automatically change your plan price? Also, when you want to cancel your membership will they reclaim the music? Or, whatever I download is mine to use? I hope that makes sense! I would love to hear some answers!
Hey! The plan price should automatically increase when you go over 5000 subscribers. If you cancel your membership all your licensed music is still valid forever.
Musicbed so a youtube creator membership does not get a separate syncID code to share but instead because your yt channel is connected the syncid works automatically? So if i have a youtube membership but say i happen to have a couple specifically wanting to upload to their own channel, is it possible to request a syncID code for extra ? If not, and the couple uploads their video to their own channel they will receive a copyright claim. Does that remove their video or just places ads on the video?
Question ! So if you have a membership and you a song for your video and your membership ends is your RUclips video ok for licensing or do you loose the licensing for that video until you subscribe again ?
Matt, thanks for video but Soundstripe is less than a 1/3 of the price with pretty good music. Not as good but someone like who does a mix of commercial and wedding (mainly wedding) why do you think that Musicbed is worth massive price difference ? Would love to hear your thoughts as I can use Soundstripe music and SFX everywhere and on anything. My renewal is in a week with Soundstripe so working out what’s best for the next 12 months. Cheers
Matt, Thank you so much for this video, i went through the website music browsing was much easier than other famous website more trendy taste and the price was insanely cheap based on social media use. @musicbed
Hey Matt, because I only really do wedding videos for 4 months of the year... can i license for the 4 months I do wedding videos and then deactivate my license? Or doesn't it work like that?
I dont see the detailed categories for electronic, soft house, deep house, beats. Can you link me please ? Do you have more than 3000-4000+ in this segment ?
Hey Aaron, we have more than 50% of our songs available for Membership and our goal is to get 100%. We started with most of the biggest and most well-known names and our A&R team is literally adding new artists and songs every day :)
Matt...this is absolutely awesome! Thank you so much! Is there an affiliateprogram on Musicbed because we have a german RUclips Channel and would like to recommend the membership =)! Bless you brother
this seems great! I want to try them out! but what happens if a youtube passes that limit of 5000suscribers in the future? their old videos are not "legal" anymore?
What happens if you do not renew your musicbed membership after using it for a few years? Is all of the music you licensed in the past VIA musicbed membership now illegal?
@@whoismatt I cannot find any information on this on the website though. And what if after one year your audience doubles but you still want to quit Music Bed?
Hey Mark, great question. We have a much larger catalog and roster of artists than Artlist, while still maintaining our high level of curation. We currently have over 300 artists available in Membership.
I used Epidemic Sound and now I want to try your musibed, and I wanna ask, I have plan to shoot videos for a perfume shop here in Hanoi, Vietnam, we just want to create a new youtube channel and post video on it, and also on instagram and facebook, I want to shoot videos from other youtube fragrance creators (top 10 summer, winter, tips, .....) and maybe some videos have vibe like ''tom ford's 3 rules of fragrance'' in Mr Porter's channel. So with that requirements, what subscription should I choose? Personal starting at $9 I guess right?
Hey! If you are just making personal videos the $9 subscription is good, but if you want to make videos for clients and businesses you would need a commercial subscription.
El video es muy bueno pero veo varias rupturas en esta pagina, simplemente se me aria un poco extraño mandarles el codigo para reclamos de youtube o darles instrucciones para sacar el mismo.
nice video but i wanna know one thing if i ll take membership which is for 5000 K as you said $ 9 and after if have 10000k subscribers then how it will work ?
We do have SyncID for wedding filmmakers! SyncID is included for free with all Memberships :) With the Wedding Membership, you have to manually copy/paste your SyncID, but it is available for all Memberships. Hope that makes sense, but please let us know if you have any other questions!
How many songs are available more and less on the subscription from? I although the quality is very hight when I fine tune my search the list gets quite short, the price is very good though!
In my experience, I would say the majority are available with the subscription. 85% now? I haven’t checked lately, but it’s rare for me to see a band that isn’t available.
What if im wedding filmmaker and i upload videos only on youtube and nowhere else? Can i get Creator / RUclips option? In our country are prizes for wedding films really down. Music is quarter of budget for wedding film :(
Hey Martin! I believe Musicbed just answered this question in another comment. :) The answer is yes, but you will only be able to upload the wedding film to your RUclips channel. You wouldn't be able to let the couple upload the wedding film to their own RUclips channel.
This looks like an awesome option. Quick question, if I then stop my membership, do already uploaded (using my syncID code(s)) are protected? Or as soon as I stop paying Musicbed all my vids go bananas?
All of the videos that you upload and license while you have a membership will stay protected even if you do not renew for another year. Future videos and projects you upload after you've canceled your membership will not be protected.
Hey, i pay to have music for youtube and i just uploaded my video and i have copyrights on it but no mail from musicbed or even from youtube about the fact that i can use musicbed songs :/ help please
@@whoismatt I found the answer haha, put your video on public mod, i wantted to post it with some delay with youtube and i got the problem until the video reached the release time
Every time you add a song to your video, RUclips will flag it. Nothing like drawing attention to yourself and RUclips keeping an eagle eye on you. I don’t like that fact. And it’s a hassle dealing with correcting the issue.
From what I've heard, Musicbed has about half their roster on Membership so far, but they will be adding artists daily to membership. I would expect Membership to grow considerably in the coming months.
So if I don't have the RUclips license but I still pay $50 per song (I've just started wedding films so monthly is actually more expensive at my level) would I still have a link or any proof to get the copyright off?
Hey! I believe syncID is only for membership right now. I would message musicbed about it though and see if they could set you up with a syncID code for the song you licensed.
Yes, email us at support@musicbed.com with a link to your video, your license order number, and a screenshot of the claim and we can look into your case!
So if I have no subscribers, and I have one client with no subscribers, can I produce for them at $10 per month and just give them a sync id code? If so, I'll use your link to sign up. I've been using epidemic, and in order for this to work, I would need a subscription, and my client would need a subscription. I don't want my client to have to get overly involved with the details of something as mundane as music subscriptions. I want to just give him the content to upload and be done. But I'm also broke right now

@@whoismatt You can't cancel your membership.
Wedding shooter who uploads video to youtube, is kinnda a youtuber too.
And i think anyone who upload to youtube, IS a youtuber.
Question ! So if you have a membership and you a song for your video and your membership ends is your RUclips video ok for licensing or do you loose the licensing for that video until you subscribe again ?
nice! although do check out SoundStripe, there is no such situation of subscribers dictating your monthly fee there/
Matt, thanks for video but Soundstripe is less than a 1/3 of the price with pretty good music. Cheers
hello Matt, i'm confuse on what's the difference between prepaid and paid monthly aside from their price difference, prepaid is cheaper. thanks.
Hey John, the only difference is the price break for paying for the year up front. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Right after I bought Artlist for a year! Haha!
😂😂 always happens like that!
So i take both .... 😂
But, artlist is cheaper, so congrats?
@@MiaogisTeas yeah, I commented too fast haha!
Its the same price, around 120$ a year
Matt, Thank you so much for this video, i went through the website music browsing was much easier than other famous website more trendy taste and the price was insanely cheap based on social media use. @musicbed
Let us know if we can help you with free song searches or getting you set up with the right Membership!
So... it will be better to upload wedding videos on RUclips than Vimeo ? Vimeo doesnt monetized your videos...
already sign with your code!!
which one is the better format for download?
WAV format :)
And for someone like me who do not run a YT channel and do corporates as a hobby only, the Artlist is more affordable
It’s a good time to be a filmmaker! Tons of music licensing options 😁
Hey Matt, because I only really do wedding videos for 4 months of the year... can i license for the 4 months I do wedding videos and then deactivate my license? Or doesn't it work like that?
Our Memberships are annual agreements, so if you purchase annual or month-to-month, you're still committing one year.
Got ya! Thanks heaps.
I dont see the detailed categories for electronic, soft house, deep house, beats. Can you link me please ? Do you have more than 3000-4000+ in this segment ?
Musicbed is it true the only 50% of the library is available for wedding films ?
Hey Aaron, we have more than 50% of our songs available for Membership and our goal is to get 100%. We started with most of the biggest and most well-known names and our A&R team is literally adding new artists and songs every day :)
Matt...this is absolutely awesome! Thank you so much! Is there an affiliateprogram on Musicbed because we have a german RUclips Channel and would like to recommend the membership =)! Bless you brother
I would email Musicbed through the contact page on their site and ask about it! They would probably love to have an Ambassador in Germany :)
Yup! Did that. Waiting for reply =) If you go to Germany one day, hit us up
Hey,
So just to be clear, do you personally, currently pay for both the RUclips tier of 136k subscribers as well as a film-makers license per month?
this seems great! I want to try them out! but what happens if a youtube passes that limit of 5000suscribers in the future? their old videos are not "legal" anymore?
What happens if you do not renew your musicbed membership after using it for a few years? Is all of the music you licensed in the past VIA musicbed membership now illegal?
Hey Ben! Nope, the music you license is valid in perpetuity. Even if you cancel your subscription, your license is still legal. :)
@@whoismatt I cannot find any information on this on the website though. And what if after one year your audience doubles but you still want to quit Music Bed?
@rudy even if your audience doubles and you cancel, the license is still valid.
Cheers Matt

Could you pass the info about your branch light from your background I like it I Would like to buy one
It's from IKEA! Search for Medusa Lamp :)
The FB rates look good - I was just about to sign up for Artlist - need to check if Musicbed has the same amount of music.
Hey Mark, great question. We have a much larger catalog and roster of artists than Artlist, while still maintaining our high level of curation. We currently have over 300 artists available in Membership.
@@themusicbed Do we just need the membership for when we post the video, or do we need the membership the entire time the video is on youtube? Thanks.
El video es muy bueno pero veo varias rupturas en esta pagina, simplemente se me aria un poco extraño mandarles el codigo para reclamos de youtube o darles instrucciones para sacar el mismo.
how to unsubscribe ?????????
nice video but i wanna know one thing if i ll take membership which is for 5000 K as you said $ 9 and after if have 10000k subscribers then how it will work ?
Great video
So if I want to put a wedding video on RUclips, can I just do the creater/RUclips membership?
Ok, that makes sense. Thanks!
i would love musicbed to get sync id for wedding film makers as well.. That would be sooooooooooo wonderfull and awesomee.....
We do have SyncID for wedding filmmakers! SyncID is included for free with all Memberships :) With the Wedding Membership, you have to manually copy/paste your SyncID, but it is available for all Memberships. Hope that makes sense, but please let us know if you have any other questions!
Love ittt...u guys r awesomee
How many songs are available more and less on the subscription from? I although the quality is very hight when I fine tune my search the list gets quite short, the price is very good though!
In my experience, I would say the majority are available with the subscription. 85% now? I haven’t checked lately, but it’s rare for me to see a band that isn’t available.
@@whoismatt Thanks for the reply I will just carry on with the subscription anyway
What if I cancel my subscription, do I need to take all my videos down?
Nope, any songs you license with your membership are licensed in perpetuity. Even if you cancel your subscription, they are covered!
Hey! Sorry your watermark isn’t showing up. I recommend creating your own presets from scratch using the tutorial.
@@whoismatt I'm going for a wild guess and say this was the wrong reply :)
All of the videos that you upload and license while you have a membership will stay protected even if you do not renew for another year. Future videos and projects you upload after you've canceled your membership will not be protected.
Thanks for the reply @Musicbed! That puts my only concern.. to bed *yeaaaah* 😎
Will try your service out
Hey, i pay to have music for youtube and i just uploaded my video and i have copyrights on it but no mail from musicbed or even from youtube about the fact that i can use musicbed songs :/ help please
Hey, I would message musicbed through their website about it. They should be able to help!
That small M indicator on their site near artist name mean its in Membership Artist Roster i guess?
That's right :)
Soo its change everything. I have prepared some playlists for my projects. 25 songs, but there is only 3 songs with that M. Really dissapointment
@@whoismatt okay cool! It's not like I make any money off RUclips or anything I just don't want anything bad to happen!
But I'm also broke right now
Unfortunately, I believe the $10/month option is only for personal videos, not client work.
I personally can't stand musicbed anymore - I tried to use them, but feel like they are way too expensive and then you get nothing for it.
