Just so ya know, remember to keep calm. DONT get frustrated, that will make them not want to follow orders with the sticks. Oh! And don’t run after them if they run away, firstly the judge won’t like that, and secondly they will keep running if you run. If you walk after them calmly and a little fast but not too fast, then they might make it easier for you. Most likely won’t happen during the show, but in case it does just do what I’ve told ya. I have been told this by professional 4h people, as I am a beginner in the pig group. More familiar with rabbits lol.

It gets them to move, it’s similar to squeezing the barrel on a horse. It’s more sensitive than the rest of the pig, and a well trained showman won’t hurt their hog.
