I think this is only for China, It is clearly Blizzard's favorite region, because they have the 2x1 goblins event in China every day on the 6th of each month, and the rest of world had to wait 2 years to get it. Also remember that in the China region they have an AFK Auto Farming function to help players maximize their legendary gear level while They are working or performing tasks of daily living, and we don't, what we get are permanent Bans. LOL
This tells me we are getting 1-2 new gem slots added. It’s unlikely they would give an echo out without adding a slot, because it would be useless to all their big spenders who have already awoken all their slots. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a slot come with a piece of equipment for your pet that can also be altered cosmetically.
Completely agree here. A free Dawning Echo is cool but useless to those who have all 8 slots already awakened. Further points to new slots coming so everyone can make use of it.
In one of the latest patch notes I've read that it's a quality 2 5star gem from the new one. It was one of the official Blizzard Patch notes and not anything leaked or so
I would love to see those Dawning Echoes unlocked for F2p. The fact that they are the only thing actually behind a paywall always irked me. I was hoping it could be awarded in the new activity log from doing all events.... Or some similar mechanic. TBH one free Dawning Echo a year would be amazing for our F2P brethren. Of course, whether that comes to ROW or not is always a gamble. I do hope our NetEase server friends enjoy them.
If they are only giving away a Dawning Echo for free for the event then nothing changes. But if they decided to make Dawning Echo available for 10,000 platinum or whatever amount of platinum a thousand eternal orbs can buy that will change everything for me. It will mean that free to play players will be able to awaken their gear. Sure they won't ever get as high of resonance as whales.Unless Blizz decides to change their monetization system to where instead of focusing on egregious pay to win to pay to progress faster where Cosmetics and Account Services are what the main focus would be. Then everything will be fine and the game will become a great game, instead of a good game.
Finally it's gonna feel like an anniversary...
Blizz should hire echo as their DI community manager already and give him access to verified leaks (hire me as ur assistant echo hehe)… keep up the non-baias content. Subscribers trust you. Thanks man

Ok so if I dont have a lvl- rank 10 gem(which I dont) will the "Dawning Echo" stay in my inventory for future use?(oh wait I can awaken a slot right, but wont get the bonus unless my gem in that slot is lvl 10)
I just reread the D4/DiabloImmortal patch notes and it's clearly saying the new 5star gem and it's also clearly saying 2 star quality.
For the dawning Echo thing I can only hope & wish that they give us 1x for free. And let's be honest giving us 1x will only make us even more hot to buy some more as well as leveling up all our gems to rank 10 who btw is also very costly or will take a good amount of time for us F2P players.

Yesterday, I started my 9th guy, just to fill a warband slot. not even a alt, just a warband holder. I ran her in Elder's quest for the 1st time with the 3 free legendary gems from the game. And she got a 4 star seeping bile, i could not believe it. I best gem found in the game after 5 months...and it goes to a useless alt that doesn't even want it. I am selling it at auction for 280000 platinum and run the horandom iden key thingy everyday. I guess i will use her more often. It's like diablo gave her $500 to lvl up for free.
You can use the same r10 gem to awaken other slots with a dawning echo
I'm thinking of switching from temp to wiz for I want to build a crit typed wiz with crit sets and stuff but alot of the crit related sets work more for wiz than they do for tempest what should I do for now tempest seems to be really fun but I'm not sure it'll always be fun I'm a crit person so which do u guys think is the better class or are they both equal its been awhile since I was a wiz
This event will give us twice all 01 star gems we always get from legendary crests... this "gamble" must end. We never have control about anything in this game.

A Boon of Plenty is giving 600 orbs, 2 can give 1 d.echo (1000)...........not sure how people can play now without a boon of plenty, especially with all the new green sets and eternal gears. And class changes. And new green set coming again soon. A kind of a trap, too.....

Most f2p people will never be able rank an 5 ⭐ gem. To 10. Unless they pay. So what's the point of owning one

Why awaken breaker skills?
Very interested in how to switch awaken slots
1... remove the gem from the current awakened gear piece to be on the safe side.
2... replace that gear piece with a lower quality legendary piece (not blue or yellow) that you normally wouldn't keep initially and allow the rank transfer to it
3... remove that lower gear piece to put back into your bag
4... go and salvage that lower gear piece. Doing so will return to you all materials use in ranking it up (mats, dust and gold... gem too usually, but glitches have been reported of gems NOT getting returned when doing this sometimes... hence the 1st step), as well as return your dawning echo to re-use again elsewhere.
5... put your original gear piece back into that slot and re-rank it back up with Charsi. You already have the mats & gold to do so thanks to step 4, so no worries about that.
6... Now you are free to choose another piece you would rather have awakened by placing your r10 gem into it and use your dawning echo to awaken it.
The downside to doing this, aside from using a lil bit of your time, re-ranking up a gear piece means all new random rolls of bonus attributes that you gained, possibly reforged as well, in the past to what you had before. Meaning, you may have to us more reforge stones to re-roll for the bonus attribute you had before and/or to get better ones if you don't just accept whatever RNG attributes it gives you. So, if you don't already, make sure to have some reforge stones stacked up in your bag first if possible before doing this.
@@ChrisGore-ey1yt you can actually transfer everything (including reforge), to a second gear piece of same slot, but keep the gem/awakening/echo on the original and extract it (remove gem before if you think there'll be issues) earning the echo back.

Dawning Echo should be purchasable for 10,000 platinum, end of. Bear in mind we already have the global news which says a 2/5 legendary gem but makes no mention of a free Dawning Echo so...

Dawing echo will only benefit players who have their gems at level 10. Am still grinding to level up my 1 and 2 star gems.
So the Five star ones and the Dawning Echo's will go to those who spend money, Whales. I am sure that's how they will hand them out.

I awakened 2 slots of 1 star gems and have 3 slots of 2 star gems and 3 slots of 5 star gems. I would like to sell dawning echo if possible.
