Its the most incensing bullshit. Like i can understand different tastes. I like a wide variety of shit and even dumb shit but the neighb is like so appealing in every way. Theres no reason for them to be slept on. They’re actually creative AND keep themselves relevant with the times (they’re also greatly reminiscent of the best FORMER times that we, of this generation, love. Like the nineties and eighties. Somea their shit is even seventies/sixties style. They do it all). Not that any of thats important to anyone with a brain, when it comes to good music. Its just that it obviously is important to mainstream music and the mainstream public. And so why arent they as big as fucking anyone else in the limelight?? My overall point is that they’ve checked all the boxes, and then some, and theres absolutely no reason why anyone of this generation, at the very least, shouldn’t be listening.

this song makes me remember that I used to cry a lot when I was at school. My friends stopped coming up to me and asking me what's wrong, I just cried too much. I would rest my head on my desk and listen to the neighbourhood. I'd always listen to this song, and now, hearing "realized I'm less important than I thought I'd be" and "I just want your empathy" is like a punch in the chest.

I used to feel like that back in middle school, now I've made friends that will support me no matter what and my mental health has improved. I'm not saying highschool will automatically make everything better, but there's always a chance that things can improve. I still struggle sometimes, but highschool has helped me discover some things about myself. I believe in you and I'm proud of you.

I've been listening to the NBHD since "I love you". It's crazy that even though their music has changed, I still like it. I loved their old style and I love what they are doing now. I can't really explain how much this band means to me. I had to go through some tough times with panic attacks and anxiety and their music was one of the few things that could calm me. This is my favorite song and I didn't listen to this song for awhile but when I came back it reminded me that listening to this song made me feel so much better whenever my depression was activated and I'm so happy I came back because when I did I felt that same rush of happiness that I did when I first heard this band. I love this.
