The bluetooth speakers aren’t the problem. It’s the people that have them and think that they are the only ones who payed to be on the ship. The volume could be adjusted so everyone can enjoy their vacation, but some people think that the whole ship wants to hear their music. And we all know that it is usually certain people who do this.
It's a lame decision and it's lazy on Carnival's part. Ban the use of speakers outside of the rooms and impose a decibel level but punishing everyone for the action of the few who are in breach is wack. I only play my speaker in my room and I check to see if it's audible outside of my room. Music can be played on phones too nowadays Carnival, and loudly at that. Are you banning those next?!

Yea!
Great! but very bad for the selfish and egocentric jerks.
Also bad for the ones who are considerate and keep their speakers in their room at a reasonable level.
We banned CCL 2018. Vista class ships ended it.
Inconsiderate speaker users needed to have that done. Carnival should have added it's for the benefit of guests as well!
