    Great video, I’ve been umming and arring over getting a second hand bench and want to get a Blk Box one they have at my gym but they are £325. The decent/sturdy second hand gym benches are still expensive so after watching your review I think I’m going to buy one of theses new as you said & showed that these ones are sturdy which is what I want. Thanks 👍🏻

    Does this fold away flat against a wall? Can't find any info on this one.

      Not quite flat no but stands up on its own quite well

    I would say with your height and weight i would say need a bench little bit higher off the ground and bigger width of the pad

      Serves me well mate, I'm 6'1, 125kg and I've had no issues, but also not tried a larger one so

    I bought the M250 last month - chose the orange. I gave my old Strength Shop flat bench to the gym where I train events. Just having the single foot instead of 2 feet at the foot end has made benching... possible for me. Before I was too short and couldn't easily put plates down, so I've always floor pressed. I love their stuff. The bumper plate tree is amazing for the price.

    • @TobyLifely
      @TobyLifely  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah the single foot is really nice

      @TobyLifely if you show MiraFit this and other vids, they might well send you some stuff to advertise. They sent our gym a log and some sleeves for the comp they run in the summer (to keep!) in exchange for my coach wearing the kit and lifting the log and putting it on social media.

    How is the decline function? Does it not cause damage to the back of the pad due to touching the hooks?

    • @TobyLifely
      @TobyLifely  Месяц назад +1

      It works well enough, no damage as far as I can tell

      @@TobyLifely thanks. I was stuck between the 150 and 250 but think after seeing your review the 150 would be fine, do you ever feel like you wished you’d bought the 250 model? Thanks

      Nope the 150 has been brilliant for everything I have needed so far

      They were just second hand horse stable mats, very cheap from a local equestrian centre

    Is this bench still holding up for you mate? Looking at getting a bench but I'm struggling to find one that suits me. Does your head hang over the top of the the bench? I'm 6'2 and with other benches I've strained my neck because my head hangs off the edge. Also what's the most you've lifted using this bench?

    • @TobyLifely
      @TobyLifely  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yes mate this bench has been perfect for me, I've never had my head hang over the end at 6'1 and my brother is 6'3 and also had no issues. I did a triple at 135kg yesterday and I weigh 125kg so it can take a lot of weight. No complaints from me
