I still have one of the Nazi banners that was outside the Middelburgh town hall entrance. My father whose landing craft entered the town along the canal took it at the end of the battle of the Schelt in November 1945
sweet! Genuine part of history. I like that. Pity it is german -lol- I love history and I love my town Middelburg. Born and raised, left once but came back to my roots. Still to this day, I do not like germans much. Good thing your dad and his fellow army lads were here to liberate us. Thank you!
