I have a 2016 RT Shaker I love it and it's paid for. I' would never consider buying new in today's world. Its seems like lying cheating and stealing is the accepted norm at these dealerships. My dad use to say if a mans word is no good he is no good. I hope these dealerships learn their lesson after they lose thousands of dollars in sales. When you look closely at what Dodge has to offer this year I don't see how they can stay in business much longer.

CDJR dealers do not get enough attention. The one I have experienced in Texas was absolutely horrible.

They are in it for the money.

I'm 61 and bought my first new car in 2010.
Dumbest thing i ever did.
The car is like new and not even worth half what i paid.
Buying a new car is just plain stupid.
If you can't pay cash for your car, you can't afford it.
Don't let banks run your life.
Banks are the reason they can charge what they want for cars.
They are legal loan sharks and they are the enemy of civilization.

um yeah.....depreciation is a real thing. UNLESS you buy a very special car and hold it for 20 to 30 yrs, Then it MIGHT be worth it

@@larsnars427 price drops are never for sure thing. $36k isn't bad. Maybe you could talk them down a bit more and you're in business.
Losing out on a Dodge Demon 170 will turn out to be a good thing, as this car is not worth 75k never mind 150k. Dodge will be gone in 3 years, then these cars will be orphaned like Edsel, Camaro, and so many others. Put that 6 figures back into the bank or by a clean lo mile redeye or demon that has seats. Or a 500+hp Mustang for far less.
Many ins companies wont even insure this car, and paying it off on time means you can't afford it in the first place.
Yeah, I kind of agree with you on the price of the car and the fact that Dodge is on the way out unless something significant changes in the next year or so. Mustangs are a great platform, easy to modify, and a tad cheaper than our equivalent. I like the idea of a low mileage Redeye or 2018 Demon. 💪
As a salesman, you snooze you lose. He probably waited too long. If not, then you should’ve been ready to go as soon as it was available. Only because you order doesn’t mean you have to buy it. Happens all the time.
Once had a guy order a Jailbreak and when the car finally got there we called the guy and the idiot didnt get approved. So we sold it to the next person. Thats on you. We have no obligation to wait for the customer.
I agree with you there. If you don't get approved or have no intention on buying the car then so be it. I don't believe that's the case with this one. As a salesman mentality yes ,however you have to give the person the final option weather they wanted it or not . That is a must
