I am binge watching all your videos for the second night! 🥰🥰🥰
I so appreciate you, April!! 🤗♥️♥️♥️
Grey hair is definitely wisdom, I love them. I had one from childhood they are coming in now. Can't wait until all of my hair is white.
Hey, Ms Ms! I match your sentiment. Although I’m not in a rush, I look forward to seeing my Arctic crown come in fully. 💁🏾♀️❄️
@@DolceDawn I have always loved white hair a lot of the people in my family have white from an early age, I just thing it looks so different and have never understood why people dye it. I thought I would have had my artic crown by now, it's taking longer than expected 😢
@@LivingInTheShade It’s coming, Ms Ms. It’s coming. 😉 And I LOVE the look of white hair, but especially silver! I always thought that Nancy Wilson, the jazz singer, had some of the PRETTIEST silver hair (other than my grandmom) around! And she never dyed it. Her hair is what I’d love my hair to end up looking like. 👍🏾
Absolutely LOVE the information that you provide. You make it very easy to follow and I love your sense of humor. Your hair is always gorgeous.
Thank you so much, Paula!! I appreciate you! ♥️
Learned a lot. Thank you.
My pleasure, EricaYE6. ♥️
I'm coming in Dolce!! 👌🏾 Good video on "crowns of wisdom". My coarse streaks have a mind of their own, so weekly moisturizing, and washing is a definite must for me. Also want to mention I tried that Bain de Terre serum (the one with argan oil, brown cap) all I can say is WOW!!😘
COME ON IN, SANDRA! 💃🏽 You like the new Bain de Terre?! That’s whassup! Maybe when I finally run out of the blue capped one I’ll have the courage to try it since you like it a lot. Thanks for sharing that! 🤗
Great video! I'm thankful for two inventions - the air conditioner and the hair relaxer. Lol 😄
I'm in my fifty now with a little gray around the edges like my mother but I love it. It's important to focus on my overall health!
I firmly believe, If our vertical (relationship with God) is right then our horizontal (relationship with ourselves and others) will be right. Just a humble thought 🌹
Hey, Kathy! I hear you about the AC and relaxer! And I’ll raise you with indoor plumbing. 😉😂
And I really like what you said about the relationship with God and how it correlates with the relationship with ourselves and others. There’s a certain peace you can find in truly knowing God that definitely affects who you are and how you treat people. This is true! Thank you for sharing this, Kathy. ♥️
@@DolceDawn Yes! I will take all of the modern convenience. They are a gift from God. By the way, I just love your videos. I always go back to some of your old ones - they're educational.
Did you know that TJMAXX dept. store sells Theorie Shampoo and conditioner? It's like a Marshall's Department, FYI. Very reasonably priced 💰
@@kathygreen2659 Aww, thank you! So glad you’re enjoying! And, yes, I know all about TJ Maxx. Got most of my bottles from them and even mentioned them in a few vids. 😉
My grey hair welcomed it self too my scalp due to stress when my mom was ill. My brother and I both have gray hair😂. I use a black rinse on my hair and use a clear rinse for the grey since they are located in the front of my hair. Some black rinse got on my grey hair and now I have green strands😂😂because I am also relaxed but they work 😉. When ask how did I get my green strands I just tell people it’s a grey relaxer 😂😂😂
OMG! 😳😂 Only you, Nisa, would end up with green strands. Only you… LOL 😉
Hi Dawn! Well again, another perfect subject. Literally just walked in from going to the salon. My wonderful gray has come on in like a headband (around the front perimeter) as my sister calls it. My stylist just tried to color it and decided she wouldn't charge me for it because it (semi permanent) didn't take! Thankfully I already bought cover up for the headband.
Thank you, Debbie! ♥️ Yeah, “grays” can be real tricky to cover. Not surprised by your “headband” 😂 as a lot of people start to gray along the perimeter. So you’re in good company.
I always love your sense of humor, I am definitely one who dyes the white hairs. I go to the salon every so often and get them covered up.
Thank you, Djobet! lol And, like you, I’m starting to dye my “storm highlights”… but I may let them grow in eventually. I dunno. We’ll see.
Thanks for the tips. I stopped coloring my hair 8 months ago. 😊
You are so welcome, sweetsharie66! 😉♥️
Absolutely great information
Glad you enjoyed!! ♥️
Oh young beautiful soul!!..Thank you for this education.. I subbed before I played the video😁 Bless you❤️
Thank you!! So glad to have you aboard - WELCOME! 🥳♥️
Also, low copper levels can cause grey hairs as well.
Hey, Joy! Yep, copper affects the production of melanin, including those in our hair… 👍🏾
All I can say is" love your channel Dolce" as well as your "God is Dope shirt". Girlfriend, where can I find this shirt? Thx again for all your educational tips. You r truly a blessing & I thank God 4u:).
Thank you, Ana!! So happy to hear that you’re enjoying the channel. And I got my t-shirt from their website: Godisdope.com. Their styles vary…. If you get one, let me know!
Woohoo..... i have one long white hair. And i aint mad!!!
😂😂😂 Be proud of that hair, girl!
I love my silver hair, I did dye them blue black (rinse) as I fancied a change. I'm still on a good look out for a leave in conditioner as these moisturisers weigh my hair down and make my scalp itch (even the light consistency ones😔)
Hey, Mrs D! As far as leave-ins, we had some good ones listed in my vid Coat of Armor. If none were to your liking (or not available in your area), I’ll keep my eyes and ears out for some additional options. Do you prefer a liquid over a light cream?
Not quite related but pls, do you use a heat protectant while blow drying your hair? Thanks for this helpful video as well
Hey, Nafisat! I use a leave-in as well as a setting lotion, both of which help to protect my hair from the heat while blow drying.
@@DolceDawn thank I so much for replying n I loved how u called my name before replying😍😍
@@nafisatsuleiman4628 😉♥️
I'm not embracing the grays get to it! (I'm watching the dye hard portion)
😂
I 100% agree!
I use Clairol Advanced Gray Solutions..
Hey, Tracey! Do you like it? Does it properly cover grays?
@@DolceDawn I've tried Clairol Advance Gray Solutions and it did not work! I've also gotten my hair professionally dyed at Madison Reed and that did not work, my hair snapped! I'm still looking for someone who knows how to dye my hair
@@kendallmoses6052 I’m sorry to hear that, Kendall. I’m wondering if you could get a recommendation from someone, even someone on the street whose hair looks the way you aspire yours to look like, to help you in your quest?
Lol im black i got gray hair when i was 6yrs old 😊oh my
Yeah, it happens… lol
PLATINUM...but, I do like arctic highlights.
Hmm… I like PLATINUM. Gonna have to start using that one. Thanks, Michele!
Which brand of blackstrap do you recommend..does it cause diabetes?
It does not cause diabetes, BUT it should be taken in moderation…especially by those already with diabetes… as it can still raise your blood sugar levels even though it is a low glycemic food. Right now, I’m using the Plantation brand, but really any unsulphured brand should do.
Hey ❤️❤️ is it ok for me to wash my hair once a week and flat iron my hair once a week I always deep condition my hair.
Hey, Nisha! Yes and yes! Washing and flat ironing once a week is definitely OK. That’s exactly what I do. 😉
I also flat iron once a week after washing. I blow dry then flat iron. I also don’t deep condition weekly anymore.
@@DolceDawn ok thank you so much beautiful. I’m always watching your videos for tips and I really appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️
Yes it is ok to wash hair once a week. I wash, blow dry/flatiron weekly with no problems. I used to wash hair bi-weekly and always had problems with my scalp. Because my hair is coarse, I started weekly washings with deep conditioning for 20 minutes. I noticed that oiling scalp, moisturizing and sealing every other day was no longer needed. The third day after washing my hair if it felt dry, I used a serum instead of oil, with a good scalp massage and brushing.. This seems to work for me. Good luck
My pleasure, Nisha! 😉♥️♥️♥️
I've been looking for a professional to dye just the grey hair at the front of my head in NYC for a long time and I have not been lucky...
Hey, Kendall! Wow, of all places, I would think that you would definitely be able to find one in NY! And there’s no one who can recommend one to you? So sorry to hear you haven’t found one yet…
@@DolceDawn I've gone to a place called Madison Reed 2x the first time the gray returned in 1 week and the 2nd time it left my hair brittle and it snapped...I'm thinking of trying an Aveda hair salon
@@kendallmoses6052 I do like Aveda products. Hopefully they’ll give you a good consultation and maybe you can see them in action, too, before committing. Gray can be hard to color/dye, but there are professionals out there who can do it.
👌😊❤️🙏👍
