Hey Dolce! Well, I just left the hair dressers after having a wash and trim. I left there disheartened as I felt like I wasted money. I left there feeling like I could have done my trim myself. My hair felt burnt, and it was slightly static from the high-end hair products that they used on my hair. I'm very critical when it comes to my hair. Alarm bells were ringing when the stylist that I booked didn't even show up so they gave me another stylist who had very little experience ( I could tell because she didn't ask me about the condition of my hair etc like a stylist with experience would). I couldn't get out of that place quick enough. So here I am with a mug of coffee in my hand and reflection that I will now be doing my hair myself like I always have done. Save my pounds and coins. It's been 4 weeks since my last colour rinse (transitioning to embracing my storm lights😊). You are a testimont that you can do your own hair at home and it looks gorgeous 😍

Hey, NovaDoll! As you may already know, there are shampoos/products that can help thicken strands. Even the right haircut/style can help hair appear thicker. But I hear you and thank you for your comment! ♥
My hair is at its longest. I retouched w my stylist, same products and use my Sebastian laminates color/semi. We mix the mahogany w the red and I have a pretty warm brunette mahogany going on. I find that the color thickens my strands. Anyways in between I do my scalp massages, get that evening sun at my nape and pinch my edges. All is good at my end.

My hair is looking good. The RevAir dryer changed my life. ❤ I don’t flat iron because my fine texlaxed hair looks too thin. So, I just dry with the RevAir. And then style with a braid out. Or leave it stretched, but just curl the ends with rollers. I love the color of my hair now. The same colors that you use. I am just going to retouch the roots from now own, because I love how my mingled gray hair looks like highlights. I don’t want to darken them each time I color. I am having a little more difficulty with tangling since my hair is now past shoulder length. What I need is a shampoo with super slip. I lose too much hair post shampooing.
I have fine hair as well, but I use this shampoo by Kristen Ess called scalp purifying micellar shampoo. Although it's targeted for buildup and deep cleansing, I have found it to be quite moisturizing. So much so that I use it every wash before going in with my second shampoo. I've never used it with a comb or brush per se, but I do use it with my scalp brush, and I've had no issues raking through my hair. It also has a nice nozzle on it to target your scalp better. My hair also combs easily afterward. I was really surprised by the results. My hair is just before arm pit length for reference. I hope this helps. Oh, and it's drugstore. I get it from Ulta for $12.💜

Nice results. Looks like your length is back from where you cut it not long ago. I have done some Ayurvedic treatments for my itchy scalp and my scalp issues are 90% better after 1 application. I will continue to use cassia for all of its other benefits too.

My Advice: Look for hair products that say VEGAN👀 written on the container. VEGAN is held to the highest standard for not putting things that would make you very angry 😡 in your hair products. If I posted some of the stuff put in hair products, some of you will not believe how evil it is. ALERT 🚨: Look for VEGAN 👀 written on the product container, and NOT JUST ON THE WEB PAGE DESCRIPTION. It must say VEGAN 👀 on the actual container that you want to buy.
Hi Dolce. I did something that caused my hair to have a lot of breakage, thinking it was wearing it down all day at work and the friction caused the breakage. I did not catch it for at least a month and so had substantial breakage. I did a trim, an Olaplex treatment and I have a protein treatment scheduled for 2 weeks out. I will stick to my twice annual relaxers. So the journey continues. Your hair is looking beautiful.

Thanks for the update. I stretch 14-16 weeks at a time, but because my stylist forgot to do my appt for this month (I just hit 14wks), I will be stretching till Oct. because I won't have the time. I plan on just keeping my hair flat ironed once a week because with my new growth, keeping it stretched works best once I go past my stretch, which has happened before. Your hair looks great!!! 💜
Great results, you got Lady. I was due a touch-up but haven't got the time to do it just yet. I am currently on my 9th week, and it's looking good, tried a new leave in conditioner which has eased my detangling and matting situation that had prevented me from ever stretching my relaxers, hence I did get a touch up like clockwork every 6 weeks in the past. So far, so good. I'm looking to retouch at the 12th week mark sometime in September as anaemia has dealt my hair and health a heavy blow 😢. @DolceDawn I tried the serum and it's a keeper! It has my hair feeling so smooth and silky! I keep touching my hair. It's nice and light. I actually emailed the company to see how high of a temperature this protects up to. Waiting on a response. I don't relax but I do use heat to keep my hair straight. This whole line feels like it transformed my hair for the better in a short amount of time. I went to 3 different TJ Maxx stores last week and found the helichrysum and argan shampoos but no matching conditioners. Went back today and there was one lonely helichrysum conditioner sitting there just for me.🤣 Snatched it right up. So now I can try it next. I'm trying not to pay full price because getting such a great deal makes the results even better. I did fold and buy that serum full price because I've never seen the serum in the discount stores. Have you?
