      "In five minutes you must return this pack of cards to Alex..."
      Ambiguous. Return this PACK of cards. Are you returning a pack if you're returning cards one by one, or are you returning a bunch of individual cards? One of the classic "argue and hope Greg sides with you" semantic bits there.

    • @davidsingeisen7697
      @davidsingeisen7697 2 года назад

      @@davidsingeisen7697 Even if Alex stacks all the cards up as he gets them and ends up in possession of the deck of cards at the end, you never did "return the deck" to him (which is directly stated as part of the task). He ended up with the deck, but you never preformed the ACTION of returning the deck to him. Your action was splitting the deck (essentially making it not exist, because a split deck isn't a deck) and returning individual cards.

    The video segments are quiet and must be turned up.
    the bumper music between segments
    is awfully loud in comparison
    and must be turned down.
    So, i guess the real intention of the videos
    is to annoy and temporarily injure
    any one listening with headphones,
    until they just give up the sound completely
    and watch them play silently,

    they give up in frustration

    I feel a bit bad saying this, but when she said that guys see a female comedian on stage and think it's going to be shit, she unfortunately predicted exactly how her stand up show was going to turn out. Not saying it was bad because she's a female comedian, just that she's a female who is also a bad comedian. It is a shame that most women who do standup are told they're much better than they really are, and it's usually either because someone is afraid of hurting their feelings by being honest, or because they want to sleep with them. I think if every female comedian received the same criticism and brutal honesty that their male counterparts do, then they would naturally strive harder to improve their act. At this point female comedians are almost like a novelty act, and no matter how bad the show is, as long as they look nice and talk about sex and/or cuss a bit, everyone will tell them that they are just one phone call away from having a netflix special. I'm not saying that every woman who does standup is bad at what they do, on the contrary some of the comedians that I enjoy the most are women. I'm just saying that the number of women who are horrible at standup but somehow still get large gigs and full length specials is much much higher than the number of men who make it to the same level of success.

      Nah, it's a statement predicated on the trolls who opine that women aren't funny. There are a few in these here threads, congregating for a video of a female comedian.
