Thanks for the review. I may pick this set up. Those parts, especially those four gray flap pieces, would be very useful in making a Sabre from Halo Reach. The best part is definitely the droid/floating platform thingy from the Mustafar battle. Reminds me of the Star Wars Unleashed mini-statues.

If it tries to go up against a fighter it'll be destroyed almost instantly. Interceptors are built for speed, to attack and get out of there before the enemy knows what hit 'em.
It is a Target exclusive, because I saw a picture at target that had this set and the Naboo Starfighter and it said only at Target even though the Inceptor is not available till febuary.
I think the duel part is supposed to mimic the part when anakin is on the droid and obi wan on the platform and they fight and then obi says he has failed him and anakin does a flip onto the platform and they duel this bit is right before obi jumps off onto the sand hill and anakin's legs get cut off it's certainly a greta set though worthy of any collection!

Then Anakin does another flip, gets his limbs cut off and then he slowly slides down and catches on fire by the lava. Had what you said have happened, there would be no Vader in IV, V and VI.

anakins yellow interceptor was damaged in battle over coruscant. his wings were broken that should be the reason why he has this one later as replacement
What they should is re-release Obi-Wan's Starfighter with Anakin's Starfighter that are both the same design as this interceptor ( but obviously they would be red and yellow). Also they should consider adding those gold headsets to the hair pieces (also with normal hairpieces) and then finally add vulture droids . Thumbs up if you want to see this.
I like that you can put R2D2 entirely into the set. Unlike the original witch you could just attach the head. I still loved the original one though :) I'm gonna find my yellow one, buy maybe three of these sets eventually and make a yellow one (Anakin) and a maroon one (Obi-Wan)!
Those are not solar panels on the starfighter, they are a sort of S-Foil wings that wee see on the ARC-170, the small ones that open up, they are designed when in fight mode...
Nice, the design on Saesee Tiin's is really awesome and by far the coolest. I have all the starfighters (Obi-Wan's, Mace's, Ahsoka's, Saesee's, Plo's and Anakin's). ^^ I cried at the end of Episode III too - in fact that was the first time I cried to a movie. I love Ewan McGregor's acting as Obi-Wan, and the speech was so overwhelming. ^^

The Jedi Interceptor in this set is the same one in Episode III Revenge of the Sith, but you are wrong. After he went to the Jedi Temple to exterminate them, he stole one of the Jedi interceptors he saw in the Temple hangar and flew off to Mustafar to complete the final phase of his transformation to the Sith, like if you agree...
@sheadong I know bur remember the good old days when $100 would get you an awsome Falon set or an epic At-At?...this costs almost half of that I can (and I'm not makeing this up, I just checked with the 2005 set) fit the main part of the set in th palm of my hand, excluse with 5 figs or not that's still over priced, if this was $25 I would think out it
i dont think thats meant to be the seen where anakins arms and legs get chopped off its a seen befor that coz anakin jumps off the little one onto obi's platform fight abit, then obi jumps off onto the ground then anakin dose the flip and gets fucked up, havnt seen the movie in years i might be wrong

Awesome review! Being a parts guy this set has many neat dark green and surprisingly, dark tan elements. I'm really digging the 1x4 plates in it.

The "solar panels" are called S-foils:
IV, Red Leader: "Lock S-foils in attack position"
III, Obiwan: "Lock S-foils in attack position"

It's a security droid.
Because Anakin kills Nute Gunray, the Security Droids and the other separatists. and when he becomes Darth Vader.

they made a mistake with my narcissa malfoy's leg and torso print. however it was not a milimeter off but about 3 millimiters off.
