Actually, I agree with you. The beginning of ww2, the west appeased the nazis and russia. It kepth growing into a world war....which is exactly what we see now. So instead of waiting and letting it get worse, nato needs to roll into ukraine and secure as much as possible. Then russia can rot this time behind their iron curtain.

NATO was primarily set up to defend Western Europe from potential invasion by the Soviet Union who had at that time already invaded several countries in Eastern Europe.... When the Soviet Union collapsed and those countries got their freedom back the first thing that they did was join NATO so the the Russians could not invade them again...
