Qudelix 5K uses 2.5mm for its balanced output. If you own an iPhone, Qudelix is sort of essential piece of gear for EQ-ing. So the 2.5mm does have some use.

Big FAudio Fan here. You failed to mention this set was co-tuned by FAudio's director. They have amazing tech such as the Triple Acoustic Chamber (which Hiby borrowed for the Project Ace) and their True Crossover Technology. I personally own the FAudio Minor, but they have some other amazing single DDs such as the Spring and Dark Sky. They use double diaphragms on their drivers, which I have never seen before in other IEMs. I would recommend you try the FAudio Chorus and the Mezzo as well. The Mezzo is my endgame after trying hundreds of IEMs, but it's super expensive. Their IEMs are so damn good, so I got very excited when they collaborated with Hiby to make a more affordable IEM. Would love to try this one soon.

I have zero knowledge or experience with FAudio unfortunately. Definitely interested in checking out more of their work.

I really thought you were going to give it a 2 since it's an unusual tuning and you needed to use different tips to get the best out of it.
I think it's a solid enough set to still earn a 3 with the couple of shortcomings. Fit is gonna vary per person.

Right now, I've been using some cheap Venture Electronics set. Not sure what they are.
Those treble peaks are major screw up, imo. Otherwise, I love to hear it … very interested.
