TxSU DMs are back!! This squad is great. I’m hopeful to see the return of more sideline moves and DM intros returning in the future. I’m satisfied with the progress these young men have made. If these guys and the future DMs keep following this path, then I’m sure we will see the return of TxSU drum majors outlaws again. Keep up the great work guys! You’re hardworking is paying off and we can see that you are bringing that fire this season!
They did a lot of drilling. Good job for the most part, just gotta clean it up. Overall, great show! The Motion of the Ocean 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 highlight of the show
Lol....that's a band uniform? Or a travel unis? Either way, gonna be hard to "bust" Grambling doing anything seeing as they've pretty much done it all already. Nice show though.
This is TSU school color gray. School colors are Maroon and Gray. Idk if Grambling has done a white windsuit but they've been pretty versatile with their windsuits even before they were with addidas. TSU was Riddel and Nike and now under Armour and Nike sometimes. This is NOT the travel uniform. This is the gray windsuit. They have maroon windsuits too. The travel uniform is the short sleeve reversible summer uniform vs the regular reversible uniform.
@@sensoryprovided My point was that Grambling histicaly made wearing all- white during the halftime famous as is I must admit quite impressive from on top of the stadium. They usually show up in the Honda battle of the bands with White rented Tuxes
@@georgefoley2128 I grew up with the ocean from prof butler to prof lee. And it’s not the drill. Even though B Simmons has cleaned up them lines. It’s the sound and the arrangements. Shit even the band announcer sounds like dude from southern.
Lol it’s your own people but the truth is , if tradition was so important to keep the Ocean alumni would have took what Butler and Lee had instilled in them and we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
I think what he’s saying is that their drills have some similarities to SU’s, due to B. Simmons coming from SU. But that’s not to take away from how good the drill was. They did a great job.
Lots of historic film and video available on RUclips to illustrate Ocean did band/field drills LONG before Mr. Simmons arrived. But yes, he and this team too, enjoys BAND/FIELD drills.
@toddb7727 I'm alumni 2001-2003 marched, section leader 02. Been around the Ocean since 1982. These are the SAME DRILLS they've always done. You didn't march for the Ocean and you don't know Mr. Thornton RIP, the Ross Brothers, or Prof Butler to say that. Prof Butler is still alive. Stop the lying. Almost every single drill does by TnSU AoB has been done by the Ocean since 1969 at some point. Those drills come from Bill Moffitt at Michigan State from Patterns in Motion. Butler learned from him at clinics when he was at UofMichigan and later when Moffitt was at UofH across Scott from TSU when Butler got there in 1969. That's how deep it goes.
@@georgefoley2128they come out of the woodwork to claim stuff. I first marched for Alcorn. Guess what book Griff used for drills? Patterns in Motion. Guess who Griff told everybody he NEVER copied? SU 😂 SAME as Butler. They never did. Guess what Alcorn DID do...arrange a version of June 27 when 15 of us Houstonians were there...AFTER the Ocean did it. 😂 Guess what Alcorn and Talladega did...play Funk Train 33/30 cadence against each other. 😂 now JSU has Jsettes on the field in front of the band first time and claim THEY innovated it.😂

The Motion of the Ocean 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 highlight of the show
Thanks!
It would be nice for TXSU to incorporate their flag team IN the actual drill instead of on the side. Good show tho
Brian is not going to be happy about that opening drill.
Lines not straight and they straight waking
Tsu busted Grambling out with their own traditional white halftime white uniforms
Grambling has never worn gray man. What are you talking about. These folk had gray pants on not white.

Deduction for that drill
Yeah, I seen a few errors but overall it was clean..
Ocean of Jukeboxes 🔥🔥🔥
😂😂
Lame
What part of this show that you THINK that’s it’s the Jukeboxes ? Go ahead so I can hurt your feelings because I have all the facts and 80s videos 👀

Texas southern doing Southern whip turn now😂🤣🤦🏾♂️ Southern is truly the big brother of the SWAC/HBCU world🤷🏾♂️ #facts
Not so Txsu 1983 to present on youtube doing this whip you call Su`s Get Some history New School 😗
Southern University rubbing off good on them 😅 Looking good
SU has never been the only band to do patterns of motion 😒

It goes way deeper then just drills. You would really have to pay attention to what ocean was doing before he got there to NOW

Alcorn did that exact drill about a year so ago….👀
Just like the Japanees Do it Better and sound Sharper !
Oh did they ? Part of This show (Drill)was from the 08 Honda ocean show. Prof. Lee was the Director of Music that time. Try again

And it was likely their only drill. 🤣
