In the whole world, there are no more than 1000 mountain gorillas left. Almost all of them live in a mountain range on the border of 3 countries - Congo / Uganda and Rwanda. There are practically no tourists in Congo, and therefore there is more opportunity to talk with gorillas, and the prices will be lower.
Tourist attractions and night excursion. If you watched the last episode, then we saw that we walked through the jungles of the Congo in search of mountain gorillas. One of the strongest impressions was when we finally found them.
The American experiment with the gorilla Coco showed how smart animals are and how much people underestimate these animals. Koko's gorilla is the only gorilla of its kind that could communicate with a human being and which told a lot of interesting things to humanity, see the video!
We went to the Virunga National Park, where the mountain gorillas are under the armed guard of the Rangers. In general, Virunga is the only place in DR Congo where tourists are carried. True, accompanied by armed guards. All this is due to the second Congolese war, almost all African countries participated in it, and its consequences are still visible!
There are very few mountain gorillas left - this is an endangered species. In the Congo (Democratic Republic of the Congo, DRC) you can still observe these beautiful animals in their natural environment, which we did.
