this genuinely does sound like a cousin of MBDTF and that just tells me even more that this Ye album was severely underrated by critics. Its stunning as usual but is also the most vulnerable album he has made, which for some could make it a lot better, I know for me it does.
He's said before that he won't make an album as polished as MBDTF, the amount of time it took for that was crazy. He wanted to create the perfect album start to finish.

It feels, to me, that even in this new found freedom, there will always be this doubt and fear. In my own experience, feeling this type of freedom, always carries a doubt. A dark thought that always lingers within you, that this freedom may not be good. That all real feeling will be ignored, refering to the 'to see if i still bleed' not bleeding, not feeling pain, is just as scary a thought as being consumed by it. I suffer from bipolar as well and have blown away $1.5 million on debauchery. It's not easy to hold onto money when you're bipolar. You're busy spending it on other people.
