America's Fishing Gold Rush! Redfish in the Marsh (Venice, Louisiana)

In this video, I joined a ‪@SWSAdventures‬ at The Redfish Lodge of Louisiana for two days of sight fishing redfish in the marshes of the Mississippi River basin. The lodge is located in the world famous fishing community of Venice, Louisiana, which is one of the last places you can go in the United States and currently experience a fishery like it was back in the "good ol' days".

The thing about the intro was, you’re right. Here in southeast, FL the fishing has gone downhill rapidly. Between the millions of people that have moved here and the spillways constantly dumping nasty water it really isn’t what it use to be. Even in my short 24 years I’ve seen it decline. All the locals know this, very sad to grow up in paradise and watch it turn to crap!!
