Such a shame Obasi was a useless king and restricted the males in his pride from hunting. Had Taka gone to hunt with Mufasa and Eshe, there's no doubt he'd have become the king snd their relationship would've never been scarred too. Obasi planted that seed of doubt and hate in him unfortunately.
I really love that this song tells us about the characters, how they’re feeling, what they want. And it moves the story forward. This is what a musical number should do, and something I was desperately craving after Disney’s Wish.
@@AugustRose I promise it’s an british accent and an african « english » accent doesn’t exist because many countries that speaks english have différent accents (eg : nigerian english accent, ghanaian english accent, south african english accent etc… they are all different) and this one is definitely a british one I promise
I was just listening to the soundtrack yesterday and hoping you would react!!! Thank you I've been in love with this one from its release!! I love some of the choices the singers made to make the songs come alive particularly in Brother Betrayed! Wouldn't mind to see you do the full soundtrack there's just a few songs!😉
I cant help but think Taka got so into that part the way he said “unfold” 😂😂love that your broke that part down. Didnt realize it was a vowel modification
Can you PLEASEEEEEEE do “Bye Bye” from this movie? It’s soooooo good!!! It reminds me so much of the part in “No one mourns the Wicked” where Elphaba’s mom is cheating with the wizard and idk why!
I saw the movie yesterday and Taka certainly didn't deserve that, I think I understand that in part. He's not a villain, it's just that the story is poorly told. Greetings, new follower!
I surprisingly loved this movie and I say surprisingly because I don't usually enjoy CGI animated movies that are sequels to classic movies (I know "Mufasa" isn't a sequel to "The Lion King" but you know what I mean) and I enjoyed all of the songs so much. The ending made me cry a little cuz of how sad and wholesome it was 😂 This also made me love Scar a lot more but also feel bad for him.
This is probably one of my most favorite songs in the film. Sure, some people still hate it because there are still moments that make it seem like the expressions are 'soulless' like in the 2019 movie, but can we agree that the music is awesome? Personally I think this movie was better than the remake because it was a whole new story. Timon and Pumba were really annoying, though.
Did guys you really enjoy this movie? 😑. The 1st remake was ok for the visuals and CGI. But this movie was horrible for its story and so is this song. Disney is literally just abusing your nostalgia. They also changed the background story of Mufasa and Scar from the original movies/series as they were blood brothers and Mufasa wasnt 'adopted'. This story had never been animated so why change the it when you can🤷🏽♂️? This song is also horrible and its a waste of this content creators time this song is beneath his analysis skills. And its annoying they also use the remakes to pander to Black People (i am West Indian myself). Its not the worst movie obviously but Disney is running out of ideas but we blindly want to give us their attention purely of them being a household brand we love and then accept their recent lower quality output. But they dont 'love' their consumers. 'Wish' shouldve been a big succes as an original movie, but putting that movie out after constantly pushing DEI and other woke nonsense diverging too much from source materials with established IPs, and than attack fans when they give free feedback people didnt even bother with that one which is unfortunate. Disney is so petty, they pressured theaters to prioritize Mufasa over Sonic 3, but yet Sonic 3 has more succes and better story despite all the silliness. Simply because Paramount listens to the fans and respects the source material. Even Disney themselves feel this through Deadpool vs Wolverine and even within that movie its being addressed how Disney is just doing bad with their overly DEI movies.
It’s crazy how confident and cheerful Taka aka Scar was as a cub. Very similar to Simba. This song is Scar’s “Just Can’t Wait To Be King” 😢
Yeppppp.
Just so u kjow we all now takka is scar so u dont have to say aka
We really dont @yousefeveritt2193
@yousefeveritt2193 Yes, but everybody doesn’t know that. So I wanted to say Taka AKA Scar.
I really love that this song tells us about the characters, how they’re feeling, what they want. And it moves the story forward. This is what a musical number should do, and something I was desperately craving after Disney’s Wish.
To me the "brothaaaa" kinda reminded me of a cub roaring
Kelvin's voice work is exquisite in this film. Truly truly remarkable
I wanted to cry xo bad when he said " everyone sing for my brotha"
Omg this is my favorite song from the movie. I love Kelvin’s voice 🙊
No
😢
The mamA, brothA, fathA, othA, and MufaSA... makes everything about him from start, that's so smart!!!
I love the little run at 9:19 when I first heard it I was like okay!!! It’s my favorite part in the song
Me too
I listened to that over and over
I have been trying to pin down that riff for HOURS and cannot figure it out 😭
This song is a masterpiece. Such a beautiful collaboration!
I did not expect for this song to be stuck in my head. 😂
This movie in IMAX 3D was good (they def had the 3D in mind when creating the film) and this song is very cute.
“WHAT DID YOU SAY BOUT MY BROTHA?!”
it was way better than the 2019 remake, the camera shots in the 2019 one were made to look like a documentary rather than an adventure
Young mufasa on "you may look down on them but they are free, and where they go..." He was SANGING
Just love that "I still remember my mooother" just something about that note
I’m happy to see they’re actually making original music for this one, instead of reusing them like the remake
Well that’s probably cause that was a remake and this one isn’t…
well this is an original while the other was just the live action of the og so..
Well it is a whole new story so it doesn’t make sense for them to use the same songs
Something I like is that when they say some words it sounds like an African accent, like when they say brother.
That’s british not african 😅
But it’s cool though
@@li8605 that's how most of English speaking Africa would say it.

most african americans say brotha instead of brother too
@@chrisgomez1840 No, they don't.
My favourite song from the soundtrack, I feel so much joy and satisfaction from singing along❤️
I love the way you describe things! It is very teacher like ha ha, obviously, but very passionate.

The song is churchy as heck

I love you and this
Beautiful song
That's not a stray that's my brothaa
I love this song so much. Also would you consider reacting to Satisfied from Hamilton?
I have been asking for Satisfied for over a year..
I love how they sampled the original pride rock balad we know & love from the original cartoon. That's the detail I love!
Love this song
Please do “tell me its you” 🙏🏽
There’s a lot of request for Michael Jackson songs!!!
Can you do “bye bye” from Mufasa❤
agree with this!

Your voice is very loud compared to the music audio. like VERY. im having to turn the video up and down constantly.
Pls do Meleelay i don’t know how to spell it but it’s also from the lion king and pls give me a pin 📍 and I’m subbed
React to bye bye
You skipped my favorite part of the song 😢😢
🤔
Bro can you stop pls of correcting the song
You are on the wrong video because he is a voice teacher breaking down the song.
I went to see the movie maybe two days after it came out. This was my least favorite song, but of course enjoyed your analysis.

A long ahh comment straight up hating instead of giving constructive criticism should never be taken seriously. 💀
Can u shut up and let me hear the song just do the song u taking soooo longgggggg
then listen to the song yourself lmao
