And where there are models struggling to get into the VS, the deserving ones, they get rejected. As for the hadids, people hate them for the same reason: nepotism. Europeans always know more than 2 languages fluently. Most of the time their English ability is better than a lot of people from English speaking countries. I had a Swedish ex in the past and he was super articulate.
Correct... I'm English and it's embarrassing how we don't put an emphasis on learning another language. In school, we are taught French or German but it's only a once/twice a week lesson and you learn to pass an exam, then that's it, most people never speak it again. Myself included, I wish I kept up my French. What I've noticed in mainland Europe is that the English is spoken with an American accent and American vocabulary such as 'garbage' rather than 'rubbish' and 'sidewalk' not 'pavement.' I guess English is the only universal language and even in Asia they are fluent in it.

Actually, a good, clean diet, proper hydration, a consistent and deep cleansing skin care routine, plentiful sleep, as well as limiting stress and exercising more can eliminate a lot of skin issues. VS models don't usually wake up in the morning looking flawless, it's their job and they work hard on all of these things. Although, genetics do help, anyone can improve their skin.
I said genetics still have an affect. Yes, some people don't have to do anything and have no problems, but that's a small minority. And what you see on the outside doesn't always reflect the inside. For example, if you don't take of your skin, never wear sunscreen, eat poorly, and get bad sleep, you could look or feel perfectly fine. When in reality you will get skin cancer, irreversible wrinkles/fine lines, and early signs of aging someday. My little sister is that way with her weight, she's 5'3", 85lbs, and eats only chips/cookies/pasta/hotdogs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It will catch up with her.
